I know this will not please fans of this series- but I do not like the third Missing In Action movie at all. The first one was really cool and seemed like something that did not even need a sequel to follow it- whereas the second one being the prequel it was did its job explaining how our hero made his escape and returned to his life in the United States before going back to save those he had left behind. I just do not see the point of the third story other than him learning he has an Asian son.

@DetroitLove4U It just seems like one of those movies suddenly added only to make a series into a trilogy. It is a good story- it just does not give me the same feeling that the first one does. I only saw the second one once and it was probably an edited version since I was watching it on regular TV. Someday I might get all three of them so I can rewatch them. I do prefer a series to actually be three movies because it does not seem complete when there are only two movies made.

@JLC31383 I actually rented it back like in 1989 from Music Plus a year after it came out. I saw it as a kid for the first time when I was roughly 11. To me any movie then as a kid that showed Americans rescuing their own under any scenario was totally in for me. Even the movie "The Park Is Mine" used to give me pride. Honestly today - I feel being American doesn't merit much no more. It's like people are so busy screwing each other over from within and as usual our Government too.

You know what this song is telling me... we need CYBORG SOLDIERS that shoot lasers out of their eyes with pinpoint precision, missing the civilian hostage every time, thus depriving the enemy of their sweet excuse that uses the blood of innocents and people's good intentions to further their own hateful propoganda.
