@RydersReps it should be good for them. they dont need too much hight in water, just more shallow room to swim in. a 40 breeder would be fine because of the floor space but i know your trying to find a use for the 55 gallon so it will fit in there! hope this helped!

maybe a musk turtle could live in a 55 for many years but thats about it
