  • Dont be frightened to try something, just seen the end of ur vid, I could easily rip that apart, try an aluminium plate under (thick one) .if you check with HSE they will recomend barrier cream, then gloves. Also overalls and mask, I have worn gloves and masks for the last 7 or 8 years and my lead levels have come right down, I hate overalls though and just cant wear them :(

  • great video, thanks for sharing this

  • Gloves...always, a little tip.. try a size 3 nozzle instead of your size 2, and if you hold your gun at an angle the other way pointing into your work you will penetrate through the entire sheet, if it's too hot for you introduce a sideways or circular motion as well. Unfortunately you have just melted lead on top of it.

  • no penetration

  • @80ghog Hi Olli if you put on barrier cream when working with lead then you do not need to wear gloves! This gives you more feeling when working without gloves! A number two nozzle is quite adequate for welding code 4 lead. If you watch the video all the way through you will see right at the end I show the back of the weld to show the root penetration! Thank you for your interest.

  • No doubt at all you are a professional tradesman, but where are your gloves mister

  • @sandwichshort2 you dont need gloves reali

  • thanks very much, very informative.
