Oh, nice rifle by the way mate!

  • Isn't the Howa M1500 just a licensed M24?

  • A Marine Corps. M24? Really? Didn't know they used the U.S. Army's Sniper Weapon System. I was pretty sure the weapon I was so in love with was an M40A3!!! And sorry, but a Howa doesnt even come close!!!

  • Dam, it's Bob Lee Swagger!

  • 海外に輸出されてるんだったな

  • @100silverpizza ='s hooommmooo

  • @100silverpizza what about when you get in your car? You could run over a dog or a child when your reversing! And what about the carbon emissions?! Oh no! Think before you write dumb fuck

  • i guess since we cant see the target we will just have to take your word that your a bad ass

  • @100silverpizza shut up loser and get back to your hippy bullshit. anyone who spends that much for a gun isn't going to get it taken away that way. Clearly you didn't think before doing something. and lead poison? you've got to be kidding. Go bother someone else.

  • @mikeyama96 一見こわそうに見える人が、実はやさしいという場合が往々にありますよ。僕には、射撃を楽しむ善良な人に見えます。

  • why load it as a single shot?

  • what is that rifle chambered in?

  • is this rifle better then a remington 700?

  • I'm sorry, but i am concidering buying this rifle and thats why i got a bunch of questions. would you recommend this rifle? are you using hand loaded ammunition? what scope did you put on that rifle? how is the recoil on this rifle? did you do anything to the rifle to improove accuracy?

  • Correct me if i am wrong but i think he is using an m24 sniper

  • @sanduni1 there are similar guns but not the same , the power may be diferent and the range too

  • serrrrrrrrweeeeeet gun m8

  • куда он стрелял

  • 画面キレイだな

  • 画面キレイだな

  • Comment removed

  • how could u end a video with a miss??!

  • What kind of round are you using?

  • hardscoper :P

  • I was looming at one of these rifles this morning. They look alright!

  • What projectiles are you using for long range shots? My howa has a standard barrel is lucky to stabilize 60gr projectiles I use 55gr Vmax for varmint shooting.

  • @fungirl209 I bet its a 1-12 twist. If so stick with 55grn and under. Still be a great varmint gun!

  • Now thats real talent, unlike stupid computer game sniper shots. Beautiful :)

  • What ammo?

  • in the marine corps the rifle is an M40A3. The army uses an M24. good shooting though.

  • the Marine Corp uses the M40a5 not the army's M24?

  • I would check the guy who made your gun, if its as good as the Marine Corp m24, he has no idea what hes talking about. Marine Corp uses the m40, Army uses m24

  • that's badass.

  • Is that Cyrillic writing on your arm?

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71

    Russian

  • @ahuntinredneck lol, yea Cyrillic

  • @ahuntinredneck i heard the ding on the second shot!

  • @ahuntinredneck The russian language uses Cryllic letters dumbass.

  • @ahuntinredneck Cyrillic*

  • @ahuntinredneck Im pretty sure Cyrillic is russian....But whatever nice video.

  • @ahuntinredneck wow. "Is this a doberman? - Nope, it's a dog."

  • @ahuntinredneck Russian IS Cyrillic, just FYI

  • @ahuntinredneck USMC is m40 variants M24 is army sniper.

  • @ahuntinredneck

    what caliber is that?

  • wow you can hear it hit!

  • can he put there more bullets? (I'm really asking, I don't know)

  • @radzio40k Yes he can

  • @MRmattchew2 how much, 5?

  • very nice gun might i ask what?

  • what ammo were u using?

  • @theciviliansoldier fuck you!

  • Hey Alex you suck this is your cousine

  • what caliber is that? If it is .308, how do you find it preforms at 800-1000 yds?

  • @mrsuperskier just fine i shot at 1 mile at a car door with mine. no wind at about 11:00 in the morning so thair was no heat mirage 3 out of 5 hits ford tempo door

  • @MrROTTENJUGGALO Thanks, thats good to know. I am planning on buying a remington 700 with a heavy barrel, and wasn't sure whether to get it in .308 or 300. win mag. But I think I will get it in .308 because ammo is cheaper, barrel life is longer, and I can get more accurate by taking more shots as it will not kill my shoulder.

  • "USMC M24"? I think you'll find it's the M40A3

  • @HairyBogTrotter i think there at an a5 already havent used it yet

  • Jesus christ kid i bet u could never come close to hitting a target at 600yds so go make fucking retarded comments somewhere else

  • Hardscoper...

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken when your outside its not really needed

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken Leroy Jenkins?

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken beacuse he is in the open you will need it when you are in an enclosed area

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken Well they are outside : /

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken

    ear protection is for pussies,

    FOR PUSSIES!

  • @AtleastIveGotChicken WHAT?!?!

  • god damn rednecks are making our country look bad.

  • @ilovetohavelonglogin you should leave america then

  • @Ballbuster319

Lets keep freedom of speech ...

  • Very nice video sir~! What scope is that?

  • damn it took 4 sec to get down there

  • the reason the "Howa M1500" is named the "1500" is because it is one of the few .308's of any action type that is close to sub-MOA at 1500 yards meaning that a well trained shooter would easily be able to hit a 3ftx3ft target at distances at and up to 1500 yards. and as another fun fact, the prestigious rifle company "weatherby" now trusts "Howa's" production factories to manufacture "weatherby's" Vanguard action, which the "1500" action is very closely related.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine i am going to call bull on this one. The "1500" in howa's brand name doesn't mean that. if so then all of their calibers would be shooting that far and i am sorry but a 223 out of a 1-12 24 inch barrel is not going to be sub moa at 1500 yards, it may not even reach that with out a custom mount for the elevation that is needed. Weatherby Vanguard is one of the many barreled actions that howa has made for other companies. S&W 1500 was another that comes to mine. this isn't new.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine completely false.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine It is almost impossible to hit a target with .308/7.62x51 at 1500 yards. The longest most accurate grouping is I think 1300 yards and a 15 inch group let alone sub MOA. So who ever told you that's why its call the M1500 is lying. It's just a name Like the Remington 700 or the Winchester 70 its just a name. By the way that is one sweet looking rifle still like the rem 700's though but still awesome none the less.

  • @TheAustralianBloke in all seriousness. THATS how the 1500 got its name. watch the vid again. hes taking shots at 800 yards with almost no problems, whatsoever. the 1500 is one of the very few rifles of its kind with these capabilities. i own a howa M1500 varminter in .308 and ive taken shots out to 1500 yds to test it. its part of my job. its what i do for a living. and i can confir that the varminter series is indeed sub MOA at 1500 yards with a seasoned shooter.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamineand and i spose bullets don't drop, wind does'nt dont move the bullet around and unicorns are real? its just a name. Let me guess that the remington 700 is only accurate to 700 yards right? and what abot the cheytac m200 in .408 is that only good to 200 yards? btw its a 20" barrel so this rifle is shooting to a max range of about 850-900 yards

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine that is not how it got its name. with a 24 inch barrel and a 1in 12 twist in the old 308 howas, not the new, it isnt happening on a 15in plate. Explain to me, if this was true, how a howa m1500 204 ruger will shoot sub moa at 1500 yards.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine lol thats just silly! i'll stand 1500m's away from you with ur howa 1500 and let you shoot at me if i can use AI AWM in .338 lapua to shoot back!

  • @nes8i7t

    yay for .338 lapua but y not use a .408 from a mcmillan chey-tac :D

  • @redLeader32 Yeah the .408 is a pretty awesome round but the systems that utilize it are pretty big! like you imagine skull dragging that big ass weapon during a stalk, just so you can say that you can reach out further than me in the right conditions. When and if targets are out of my reach i can simply call in a JDAM. You also got problems of WAY greater cost. And thats why most military snipers/ tactical marksman are using the .338 lapua.

  • lets see if u can do it with a 308 bitch fuck your lapua!

  • @ahuntinredneck Hah fuck yeah Dude!!

  • @nes8i7t I bet he could afford the gas to drive over to you and shoot you up close before you got dialed in to be able to hit such a small target at 1500 yards. Howa's are by far the best rifle to build off of for under $1k.

  • @Joe11Blue cost isnt the issue here, i was commenting on somebodys claim that the 1500 howa got its name because its max effective range is 1500 m! which is just silly. And i didnt say anything that would suggest the 1500 was a bad rifle.

  • @nes8i7t Here you are getting butt hurt because I made a little joke about the ridiculous nature of the argument.

I doubt there's many people here, if any, that could ever hit sub-MOA out at 1500m.

  • @TaylorxMxTakamine Sub MOA at 1500 yards would mean hitting about a 15"X15" target at that range. The Weatherby Vanguard is the red headed step child of the Weatherby Line. You can buy them at Wal Mart for nothing. The Mark V is a far superior rifle. I'll stand next to nes8i7t and shoot back with a Savage 110 BA in .338 Lapua. He'll hit you first but I'll shoot your dead body. LOL

  • What's written on your right arm, dude?

  • What scope do you have on there? Nice rifle, nice shooting, good video!

  • I have never seen a 70 grain .308 load.

He is more likely using a 175 grain bullet, the 1:10 twist in Howas help.

the barrel is floated. mine is, and that gun is the same. fluting is irrelevent and can actually have a negative effect if not done right. The heavy barrel does not matter that much mine shoots .50-.75 inch groups. go ahead and tell me what your background on the Howa system is?

  • does that gun hurt your ears without plugs in?

  • 豊和工業製のライフルですね。

    なぜか陸上自衛隊はレミントンM24狙撃銃を

    採用してしまいました。

    これもアメリカの圧力?

    興味深い動画をありがとう!

  • @seirodate I agree

  • @cd9ers i was gonna say the same thing lol

  • 0:39 haha you heard the bullet hit its target xD

  • is that a black stock painted tan or a tan stock painted black??

  • whats your tatt?

  • can i come over and let some rounds off myself please ?

  • is that ur gun how did u get that

  • Nice shots

  • very nice rifle indeed, the clip reminds me of why i love the U.S.A, 38 people that gave a thumbs down must be michael moore fans tho :D anyways, greets from germany :)

  • @MrROTTENJUGGALO

I'd have to disagree with you on that, the Howa's may be better than the bottom line of Remington, (SPS) but considering the vast variety, time in production, and overall reliability of the Remington line of center fire rifles, I'm inclined to vote for Remington. However, Howa does make damn fine rifles.

  • Thats Cool , a little over 3 second in flight.

  • @pveg65

Actually that's the time from firing until the time the shooter hears the slap of the bullet on target. Actual time of flight is about .5 or 1/2 of one second.

    Doug...

  • Were you wearing ear protection? I don't know how you could stand the noise.

  • not showing the target?

  • i got the varmint model with the 20" bull barell i shoot 168 gr a-max threw it at 200 yds i get about .75 inch. remington shooters take notes howa= better fit and finish, no difference in accuracy.

  • The HOWA 1500 is nice rifle. However nothing will come between me and my Model 700.

  • @trsweety61

There is no such thing as a 5 star sergeant, there is a 5 star general, last one of those was General/President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The rank of Sergeant is an E-5 pay grade I don't mean to throw you under the proverbial bus here but I believe there is some confusion. I'm in the Army if you were thinking I'm just a video game playing kid spewing out nonsense.

  • sick rifel man.

  • how many inches is that barrel? and what scope?

  • what kind of scope is that?

  • what distance are you shooting at?

  • @ziegler117 one foot.

  • Did you get that from Sniper Central?

  • He was so still i thought it froze

  • is that a .308, i just bought a .308 m1500 today

  • which barrel and action are you using? Also more importantly what type of bipod are you using and is it a swivel one?

  • Have you noticed people who comment on this video have CoD names. "UrbanTiger," Or talk about CoD or BFBC2?

  • army

  • lol dang i want a military guy!! my daddy was 5 star sargeant

  • i like your camo job you got on there

  • the barrel looks bent in the front... Like how a 249 barrel looks after a drum mag on full auto...

  • whats with the cyrillic tatoo

  • Can someone answer theese questions:

Which Howa 1500 model is he using?

What stock is he using ------=-----?

If the trigger not is standard, which trigger could he be using?

Is the bolt he is using the standard bolt or?

Hope you guys can help me.

    Regards

    Dh5freak

  • @dh5freak He's using as the tile says the Howa M1500, the 1500 is a different model. I think he's using a hs precision PST012 stock, I think that the trigger is the default one, but he modified the pull weight, the bolt is also the default. As for the scope, its a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm LR/T M2.

  • @Yustax the 1500 and M-1500 are the same thing. M stands for Model. I own one. that stock is a hogue overmold the trigger is not able to be determined.

As said I own one. and how do you think you know what the trigger is? your just another internet know it all.

  • @TEHLEGITGUY I didnt say what kind of trigger he was using, I say that "I think that the trigger is the one that came with the rifle, or the default one" As for the model, I apologize, I always think that when a company adds the "M" it means a heavier modified weapon for military use.

  • @Yustax how do you think it was adjusted for weight?

that rifle isnt custom, its painted, not even heavy barrel, it is a painted version of mine. which is a .308 M-1500.

  • @TEHLEGITGUY Then he must be using one hell of loads to hit targets at 800 yards.

  • @Yustax your sounding dumber every comment. a .308 can fly forever. the longest kill with it was 1250 meters. no special loads. no extra kick. .308 is just really well designed.

  • @TEHLEGITGUY And you are sounding very egocentric every comment as well. A 308 can fly well, however even for a 1250 meters shot, with a basic barrel, no free floating, no fluted barrel as well and using 70 grain loads, Im sure that you have to be Chuck Norris to hit that target. If you were such an expert as you claim to be, then at least the loads he's using, must be gold match 160 grain or so for a 800 yards 3 group shot. Its not just the scope.

  • @Yustax Looks close to the factory heavy varmint barrel that howa uses in their varmint lineup. Also, I believe you are trying to refer to Federal gold medal match ammo which for 308 is usually 168 gr and 175 gr Sierra Matchking hpbt. As for shooting 800 yard 3 shot groups, that rifle with just about any factory load could make contact with say a 12 inch target. Look at FTR and bench shooters. A lot of them are restricted to using the 150 grain bullets because of regulations, they shoot 800+

  • @Yustax Also, i agree that free floating helps, but factory rifles such as my savage 110fp in 300wm will shoot .5" and under with cheap federal blue box ammo and between .25 and .5 with my pet hand loads. The fluting would not help him with his accuracy. i believe that fluting hurts a barrels accuracy because they can cause stress depending on how and when they are cut. The are used for cooling purposes because they increase the surface area.

  • @dh5freak That is all standard Howa M-1500 hardware, minus the scope its definately a Leupold not sure witch one. There is only ONE Model of 1500, "M-1500", There is a Timney, Rifle Basix, and Jard trigger available for these rifles, I have no idea if he has one. I use the stock trigger on mine that I adjusted down to 3lb pull, its very crisp. The stock is a standard Hogue overmolded Howa specific model, the bipod is a standard Rock Mount not Swivel. There is no modification to the rifle.

  • @chuckger look at the scope closer, the lighted reticle control is on the wrong side to be a leupold. Given the size of the side focus or parallax knob, it looks to be a millet trs 1, or a look a like.

  • @lloydanater yeah its definitely a trs-1

  • I love how you trigger.

  • he didnt buy it its his he inlisteds into the marines i know him

  • @ashwiggy1 he bought that, you dont enlist in the marines and get to take your rifle wherever you want. trust me i know, 5 yrs army and sniper school.

  • merci

  • Good work.

  • very nice rifle ... how much did it cost to buy

  • nice shooting!!!!

  • May I ask what kind of paint was used? Brownells? Krylon maybe?

  • Wait does the m24 shoot .308 lapua magnum? And how much do those cost?

  • @venskus2009 No.. it shoots 308 Winchester... 7.62x51.. About 50 cents around commercially.

  • @venskus2009 it depends some shoot .338 lapua mag some shoot 7.62x51 .338 has more range

  • shooting at?

  • That a single shot?
