Yeah, I've written a few songs out of that feeling. The sting of despair pretty much goes away after the song is written. It's like a catharsis for me. But when I play these songs I have to muster up some of that original pain for obvious reasons.

You should check out my "Little Dove" song that I wrote many moons ago. It talks about setting free that which you love.

technically though, i think it's amazing. the guitar playing is very impressive and sort of reminds me of Andy Mckee. The fact that you can sing and play that guitar part at the same time is freakin crazy! nice job rich!

Yes it was very painful. But you know as well as I do Alex, that it's all part of being a writer. And thank God we can write and sing to heal a broken heart. It beats the hell out of jumping off a high rise! At least you can recover from writing a song!
