@xXGshadow186Xx If Japan "sucks" now it's because it is unlawful for them to have an army large enough to attack anything. They're only allowed to defend after WWII.

And they're mistaken because poles still considered bayonets as still useful tool in war. Well, there you go. Clearing up the question whether im a North Korean or not (which I am NOT), is one entirely irrelevant aspect which you can't bring up when discussing about bravery / stupidity of japanese banjai charge.
I can tell you that with your smart-ass statement, you just made clear that you can't think but only troll around, pathetically looking into the channel of others to get onto higher ground above their heads. Well, fail for you. :)
Japanese took down the entire Millitary might of the British Empire in the pacific.
the A-Bomb was needed as NO naval units (not even the superior HMS dreadnought) could withstand the Japanese naval might. without that bomb, the Japanese would have won. or we would have 3+ million casualties.
Well we do have anti-nuclear defences. Plus their leader is dead.
So basically we can just piss on their book and they can't do shit. We've slaughtered them before. See that speck on the map? Britain? yeah, that's the thing that controlled 1/4 of the world.
Meaning...
This country can so destroy them. However we had bad leadership. David Cameron. The twat.
@WolfytheWolf5667 maybe not won since America could produce more things and had all the supplies. Not one country could send Oil and supplies to Japan to help therefor since the Americans could produce more, Japan would have surrendered, but hey, thats history.
During the Pacific War against the Allies, it was told they practiced more stabing then shooting. Typical Japs. Anyway why would they do that? No ones lived through this to tell us this technique does not work.
after i've seen this video, i asked my grandpa who lives with me to watch this video and i asked him if thats how a banzai charge really looked like. he just said to replay the part where the jap is dead and sliding down the hill. im guessing he doesnt like japanese people
In Europe and the USA, we did Bayonet charges and those became outdated by the invention of the riffle musket which fired up to 300 to 400 yrds. Those were just blood baths like Pickett's charge and the Battle of Waterloo. These Asian commands should have read up on history about charging your enemy in open field is just madness and sucide.
Unfortunately with the invention of the semi automatic rifle (non bolt action) and the rapid fire belt fed Machine Gun, such tactics were rendered obsolete.
Agreed, if you outnumber your enemy at least 4 to 1, perhaps it might be a good tactic with shock factor.
But when you're up against an opponent like the American soldier armed with at least a semi automatic weapons, whereas the Japanese were on bolt action, it is almost suicidal. The Japanese continued to employ Banzai charges so that the can die an "Honorable" death.
Banzai (万歳) literally means "10, 000 years" as in "May the emperor live for 10, 000 years." Back then it was a partriotic utterance but nowdays it is simply a cheer like "Hip-hip Hooray!" You can still here it at Japanese sports events.
