No, I was about 5 feet infront of the car. The mcpx is so light, and all plastic. I've hit my own car a few times and it doesn't leave a scratch.
No HD because I was using my digital camera which only records in 640x480. It has great sound though. My HD keychain cam stopped working. Too lazy to fix it.
