  • hola este video es malisimo

  • This is absolutely brilliant - and is a perfect example of a project that I am currently attempting to undertake - matching colour with pitch (through wavelength) and interpreting sound through image. How did you do this? What software did you use? PLEASE HELP ME!!! I'd be so grateful for any advise.

  • A lot of work has been done on trying to find a direct relationship between frequencies of sound and that of colour. I know there is a program which take the colour information in a picture, reads it from left to right like for example and then translates directly this data into sound, although i cant remember who made it or what it's called, although if you start surfing into the world of music visualisation you will find a lot of very interesting work, including probably that one.

  • this is amazing. i've had a huge interest in making art along these exact same lines. it's taken me a while to find something this good. where did you get your ideas? or where can i find more like this?

my original inspiration was from chris cunningham's Come to Daddy video...

  • trippy as hell man wat were u on?!

  • what web site do I find music visual on to upload? I came across one with a different name but I lost the address.

  • awesome idea, but i dont really like the environment. was all of this done by hand, or did you use some sound keying tools?

  • lol..rather special but still amazing animusic ;] how u do those? rly? what programs?

  • This is the most intricate synesthetic work I've ever seen, not to mention some of the best cello work. Please keep these coming!

  • Oh Yes !!!! We want more !! we want more !!

  • Una maravilla de animación. ¡¡Increíble!! ¡¡Mágico!!

  • Simply amazing.. Are you planning on creating more of these? :]

  • Yeah I am, it takes a lot of time producing this kind of stuff but the next one will blow your mind....guaranteed.

  • are you gonna upload the next movie to youtube :) well.... i hope you do, becaus this is so amazing ;)

  • NIIIIIIIIIICEEE :D:D

  • This is great, magnificent, beautiful...wow, what a timing, you are one of the best I 've seen on YouTube.(I've made also a music video and I know how much time and patience you need to make some!)

  • Yes, and can the high quality version be downloaded somwhere?

  • At the moment its only available as part of an interactive DVD-rom I put together. You can read more about that at my website.

  • Really touched me, is there some high quality version?

  • Thankyou for your support. The original version is in High Definition, which I screen inside my Dome (my channel has a clip showing my dome tent, a portable theatre I developed specifically for festivals).

  • after 43443 video views i have finally found the best video on youtube. and i don't use "the best" very often...

  • Wow animation done manually and music written by you too? Talented guy.

  • i briefly played the cello its a very beautiful instrument

  • what is that music

  • I wrote the music myself. I'm a cellist by profession. I played and recorded it myself. I'm selfish. And poor. And have a freakish need for control...lol. Seriously, I needed to record each cello track seperately in order to tease out the independent spectrographic information, so I didn't need any other players.

  • Wow, that was amazing. Is there a program that does this automatically or did you do this all manually?

  • unfortunately it was all done manually, however I am hoping that at some time in the future it will be possible to generate this kind of stuff real time for performances.

  • good

  • Awesome, 5/5

    What do the colours mean?

  • You may have noticed two colours in those little visual entities, an external one and an internal one. The external colour is mapped to pitch, so each note has its own colour. The internal colour maps the current chord. Chord colours are mapped similarly to note colours, ie if the colour of the note C is red, the chord of C is also red.

  • That's like, my BRAIN, dude!

  • not bad

  • Excellent.
