This music you're listening to was never mixed by Tiesto. It's from the DVD of the party where they used Ferry Corsten's mix to create the entire video. This is just a segment of the video that happens to have Tiesto in it. You can find the full mix on iTunes. Personally I never thought tiesto was ever a good DJ. He is just like Paul Oakenfold. Famous, but can't DJ out of a paper bag.

Someone has made a clip using the VHS video of Tiesto playing at Innercity, but they have gone to the trouble of putting the audio from Ferry Corsten's Innercity set over the top... They've even made sure the beats are aligned between the video and the audio.........

What was wrong with the actual music Tiesto played that night?

There seems to be some sort of mix up here. The video maybe Tiesto but the soundtrack is Ferry Corsten's set from Innercity. Definately. It's one of my favourites and is arguably one of the best trance sets ever.

it's indeed innercity '99. But there were two innercity's that year. The first innnercity had Tiesto as main act. The second innercity had Ferry Corsten as main act. main act meant you also recorded the compilation cd that would be released later. The music you hear is from that compilation cd. In this case, Ferry's compilation cd. this video (VHS) was available as bonus to the cd. (limited)
