We (man) rebelled against God, begining with Adam and Eve, anyone that sins deserves death but through accepting Jesus into our hearts we are saved. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."(Romans 6:23) God sent Jesus to die for our sins, its a free gift that we can have if we choose to accept it. But those who don't go to hell.
I believe everyone is going to Heaven. It only makes sense. If God's love for us is so strong to where he gave up his only son for us, why shouldn't we all go to Heaven? To be able to forgive the sins and betrayals of individuals that mankind could never forgive, that is true love. That's not to say you shouldnt live for God, but I think no matter what we will all go to Heaven because God's love for us is eternal.
Look, everyone religion, nation, group, etc. has its dark side. Christianity, we have the Crusades. Besides, science isn't perfect, nor is Christianity. Science is the knowledge of how things work, and the process of finding out how things work, then applying that info into the public world, for the greater benefit of world. It's not perfect. There are things science hasn't discovered. Same goes for Christianity(its not perfect). I know Christians who have considered suicide, and some the have.

Also, the only reason why churches arent sending money to those whom need it, is because the churches arent even getting enough money to stick around. The offering taken has to pay for the property, and all such expenses, plus the wages of the faculty. With so little being given to smaller, local churches, they can barely, if at all pay what is required.

I am in no way religious but some of my favoriate bands are christian bands (Red, Thousand Foot Krutch and Pillar) And now cuz of this song this band has my attention...
The religious references they make are actually pretty abstract, there aren't really any Christianity-specific references in either their debut or Tryptych. Not sure about their other albums, but it says a lot that I could own two of their albums and have no idea they were a Christian group.
Try owning a Creed album and not think they're a Christian group.
@OneEightZeroZero not really alot of their music is up front on their beliefs and some are abstract it is about 60 40 comparision I am a youth minister and family minister and the kids in my church really enjoy the lessons I bring out of their songs. you just have to listen to the lyrics and not go to the fact they are a Metal band.
@aimerbud42 I think 90% of their music would mean the same thing to a non-Christian, including this song. Songs that reference God and the afterlife like Fiction Kingdom? Maybe not, but that's not most of their music. I guess I think covering themes important TO Christians but making only passing reference or no reference at all to Christian theological concepts isn't quite what I'd call Christian rock, because a lot of non-Christian bands do that, but maybe I'm missing the point. :)

Also, the only reason why churches arent sending money to those whom need it, is because the churches arent even getting enough money to stick around. The offering taken has to pay for the property, and all such expenses, plus the wages of the faculty. With so little being given to smaller, local churches, they can barely, if at all pay what is required.

This song describes what happens when you lose all hope, and when you don't feel like you can go on anymore. One of their best, in my opinion.

The religious references they make are actually pretty abstract, there aren't really any Christianity-specific references in either their debut or Tryptych. Not sure about their other albums, but it says a lot that I could own two of their albums and have no idea they were a Christian group.
Try owning a Creed album and not think they're a Christian group.

Maybe not, but that's not most of their music. I guess I think covering themes important TO Christians but making only passing reference or no reference at all to Christian theological concepts isn't quite what I'd call Christian rock, because a lot of non-Christian bands do that, but maybe I'm missing the point. :)
