You just have to read his book! I have read it, I read it in two days and by the end of the 2nd day I considered myself a non smoker. I have no fear or panic anymore like I have done in past attempts to quit. It's been so easy I just can't get over it. The government should be ashamed of themselves for not giving this man more credit. They waste their money on nicotine continuation programmes when all they have to do is invest in these clinics and 95% of the remaining smokers will quit in days.
@1heitzman Did you find the withdrawal pangs difficult to over come? I smoked for fifteen years and gave up having read Allan Carrs book (first edition). The enjoyment is an illusion, perceived enjoyment comes from quashing withdrawal pangs and giving your body the dose of nicotine it craves. I had virtually no withdrawal pangs, I kept away from obvious triggers - pubs, clubs after which I never looked back. Giving up smoking you are gaining EVERYTHING you lose NOTHING!!
@Hammersmith80 No' it was so easy and I can honestly say that I had hardly any withdrawal symptoms. The government scare you into thinking that the withdrawal pangs will be so bad that you won't be able to cope without nicotine replacement treatments. It's a myth and they are just trying to make even more money out of people. All I'll say to people is read the book, you can download it for free like I did. I'd smoked for around 20 years and I know I'll never smoke again. Well done Hammersmith80!

This book is like gambling, you pay a little sum of money, and you can win A LOT. The difference is that the chances to win are infinitely higher and if you win ... wow ... what a life.
Buy the book even if you don't want to quit ... read it ... what do you have to lose ?
@romber58 I don't know the stats but it's extremely rare for a non smoker to get lung cancer, even Forest admit that. Unfortunately if you do stop smoking you still carry some risk for the rest of your life, it's reduced but it's still there.
Read his book it will make you stop smoking! Thank you Allen Carr
