Wow! Very impressive! I know what you mean by your hand being tired.. I can't finish the song sometimes because my hand feels like it's cramping D: But that's okay! Good hand workout >o> ... I have a question, though. How long does it take you to learn these songs and record them and everything? Well, this one in particular.
@FlyingBugels YEAH my hands actually got crampy when I was recording the solos, since I do those last after I record all the other parts. I'm glad I got through it, though. Anyway, I don't really learn songs before I record 'em. Usually, I'll tab the songs out, and once I finish, I immediately start recording (which is what I did with this song). I sight read and play the music that way as I record, so I learn as I go along. (cont'd)
@FlyingBugels (cont'd) However, because I spent about a week and a half tabbing this song out at an average of about 3 hours a day, I was pretty familiar with the song when I started recording it, and it's the same for all the songs I record. As for the actual recording process, it takes me about 3-4 hours to completely record a song, from making a backing track to finishing the last guitar. It took me a few hours longer for this song, obviously xD Sorry for the little rant :X
@MajinStylee xD Well, of course it would take a while longer for this song because it's 10 minutes long! I don't mind about the "rant" :P I didn't see it as a rant, anyways, just an answer :D... Bleh. That takes a lot of dedication! And i think it's cool that you can just like.. sight read the music. I wish I was that good x___x;;.. I attempted recording a song on guitar, but I kept getting weird feedback noises, so I gave up xD Anyway! I hope you continue these recordings! They're really good(:
@mmprimo715 Heya! Thanks a lot :D I use a very simple setup when I record. I plug my guitar into my digitech RP250 effects pedal, and I plug that to my computer via USB cable. I record using an old version of Cool Edit Pro (which is what Adobe Audition used to be). The bass I record just playing into a chat mic lol
@MajinStylee another question if you dont mind: i know that you get the official band score, but why does it all have jasmine you's part on a 4 string? or rather, what's his actual 5 string tuned to?
@mmprimo715 In the band score itself, it has the bass part as a downtuned four string bass, usually the same tuning as the guitars. I'd check the equipment that jasmine you used during the recording, but he was completely omitted from the score (Hizaki, Teru, and Yuki all got their own pages dedicated to the equipment they used). He got no credit and no mention at all, which I thought was strange. If he used a 5-string bass during a live, I'd say they'd be downtuned as well

@MajinStylee but without the Drop Db for the songs that require that (all the guitars in all the songs have the low E string tuned down to Db)
