Last year, Montreal didn't clinch first until the last day of the season! This year, Boston has been there all season, and are supposedly the class of the league! Montreal fell all the way to 8th, and people have been talking about how bad they suck, so the Bruins should take them 4 straight, right! I know Boston won the cup in '70 and '72, and Montreal in '71,73,76,77,78, and '79.I'm guessing in between beating up on some Canadiens the Bruins lost about 4 different times to Montreal.
I think Boston finally beat them in the playoffs in '88, but I'm not sure.

It may or may not be a long series; Boston is definitely the favorite to come out of th East, so anything less than a Eastern Conference final will result in the coach probably being fired as well as some tinkering with the lineup in 09-10.
