  • @Nomimasubiru420 Glad you like it! Would love to see yours too.

  • @karakzhen holy crap i love ur fish soooo much and i have 8 baby gsp's and there very happy u should check them out on emochild1996 they are brackist but when i get the right equipment around christmas because of my bday i will be making them marine. KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!

  • Are these in fresh water or slightly salty water?

  • @Tybaltveria They are actually in full marine water.

  • @karakzhen Oh wow!

I have my Green Puffer in fresh water. He's lived in it all his life, and he likes it, but I guess they can live in both. :D

  • @Tybaltveria Yes, the great thing about these fish is that they can thrive in fresh, brackish or full marine. Upon reaching full adulthood they often swim out to marine waters. Of course when they are 6-8 inches. :)

  • @karakzhen can you make a video of the whole tank from all angles. its truly a work of art. please make a video of it

  • @Tybaltveria GSP do not appreciate fresh water.

  • OMG your fish has the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen and im going to be getting a fish soon. i am soo going to be getting this type of fish.((:

  • @fishyloverr Thank you! If you do, be sure to keep up with the maintenance of the tank. These fish require pretty low nitrate water.

  • how big is ur puffer now???

  • i had a porcupine puff, named Seymour, at a distant time... named so, because of how his eyes revolved completely apart from one another.. he grew bored in my tank because i didn't think things through enough...

    beautiful video!

  • the green spotted puffer in the very begining is so funny when he hits the porcuepine lol

  • What song is this? I used to listen to it while meditating, it was awesome. Very nice puffers man

  • Boujour j have a question for you your puffer porcupine is t it in l salt water either in saumatre water thank you good and dsl for my English

  • i wonder what happens if i put a japanese fighting fish in my tank

  • hi amazing tank few questions what's this song called for this video also is phineus still in that tank and what are the other puffers in this video called are they green spotted puffers?

  • @JAGSPetsandetc Thanks! The song is by Yanni and I believe it's called Nightingale. Yes, he is and yes the other puffers are green spotted puffers.

  • @karakzhen thanks for the reply.

  • Mahaha :'D His attacking behaviour at 1:00

  • Hey do you know if it would be safe to have an orange tail fiji puffer with a GSP or two?

  • @omanyte10 It all depends on the size of the Orange Tail Fiji. I'm not very familiar with that type of puffer or how aggressive it is. But, a rule of thumb is... as long as they can't swallow each other whole haha.

  • @karakzhen That's tru lol but I don't want to risk killing a 30 dollar fish so I'll probably just get GSPs.

  • total shrimp-gasm at 1:05 hahaha!

  • Are these fish still ok with each other? I have two GSPs in a 30 gallon low end brackish tank and I'm likely getting a 125 gallon soon. Hoping to put the two with a Porcupine and a couple other fish in it.

  • @angeloftheodd Yes, they are fine with each other. You'll just have to start raising the salinity up to full marine before you put a porcupine in it!

  • @karakzhen Really? the porcupine and the GSP's don't try to nip at each other?

  • i love that fish :'( i dont know where i can find it

  • @MeRawrCookies your funny

  • thats the cutest

  • he is so awesome i love those fish!!

  • I didn't know shrimp moved that fast WOW

    The puffer is really cute

  • it's a tough choice between getting one of these vs getting a chameleon. How big of a tank would I need if I got a small one for the first 3 or so years?

  • @mindwentblank

He would just start to out grow a 55 gallon. After mine was 5 years he was around 7 inches

  • @mindwentblank 50Gal

  • Hi, Normally the nigroviridis is kept in highly brackish water. But the porcupine puffer needs to be kept in marine water. What water substance are they kept in?

  • Hi, Normally the nigroviridis is kept in highly brackish water. But the porcupine puffer needs to be kept in marine water. What water are you keeping them in?

  • @123soulweaver123 All of the puffers in this video are in full marine water around .22 salinity. The GSPs do fine in full salt.

  • Wow I am shocked they last that long! I may have to try it. I have a very small and seemingly very meek porcupine fish. I wanted to try one of my green spotteds in his tank and see how it goes.

  • @SolaceMarine You can break the shrimps tail slightly to make them easier to catch if your puffer has a hard time hunting them. If you do put a green spotted puffer in with your porc, just take it slow. My GSP's are only about 2 years old but I brought them to full marine in one day by just adding salt to the tank slowly throughout the day and they didn't mind.

  • Those are 2 years old?? That is one thing that shocks me about gsps are the growth rate. I have had some grow more in one year than others have in many years. I had mine at full salinity for a while but then when I got a full saltwater tank I brought them down to 1.014 until they get a bit bigger

  • @SolaceMarine Yeah, all of them grow differently from what i've seen as well. Great to find out someone else with the same findings. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong with their diet.

  • @SolaceMarine Im curious, I've noticed my GSP is not growing very fast I suspect a low maneagable parasitic infection In my GSP named "Beef". He has always appeared fully healthy but has marine Ich signs every so often bewtween WC's. Could there be parasites in some batches of these fish? (1 GSP 1.5 years 50Gal. 1.010)

  • Is this a full marine tank? I know the porcupine is a saltwater fish and the green spotted can deal with saltwater and as an adult prefers it but I am just curious because the freshwater shrimp seem to be doing fine.

  • @SolaceMarine Yes, it's full marine. The ghost shrimp usually die in about a day or two of being in full saltwater.
