  • youtube.com/watch?v=TROnlvorhDs programming will be easy in the future.

  • Also for anyone who's interested, you can get USB ICD 2 clone programmer on eBay for around $30-35...

Dude you need a better mike, it really sounds like you are talking into a drain pipe, sorry. Thanks for doing tutorial tho! Thumbs up.

  • good work!!!

  • thanks alot

but where is the other parts of tutorials

    :(

  • Great tutorials

  • Watching to brush up on assembly, good start hope it gets to assembly. I used the pic kit 2 in school and it worked awesome. I am buying my self one next week. In school the teacher made his own 'i/o drivers' with assembly and let us call them as c functions. what a jip but it made the class easier but didnt teach a thing about assembly.

  • hey if i buy some other usb pic programmer will it work with "melabs USB/U2 Programmer?" or i have to get the software for it too?

  • it is safer to use the software that comes with specific programmer.... melab will output the code on to any one of the serial, printer or USB ports... and most programmers use very similar signals from the computer to program the pic.... but I cant guarantee that any other programmer will work with melabs apart from the ones they make.....because Im not sure how compatible melab is with other programmers... sory :P

  • does it matter that im using a pic kit 2?

  • I havent used them before but it looks like it should work fine :) they are just a board with everything on them so you dont have to do the hardware yourself.... the basics of the PIC and the code used still apply to it

  • i have a project to do by next friday, i am so f*****. if i get a decent mark, i'll owe you one.

  • I use a chinese one

  • I think I am going to try the PicKit 2 (from microchip) since it is only $35. I'm very new to this though, is there anything I should watch out for when buying this programmer?

  • Yeah microchip are great :) their stuff just works... I would be surprised if you had any problems... in the end all PIC programmers do the same thing.... put binary code on the PIC

  • novoice in pic programming...anyway...thank for the tutorial...really appreciate it...agreed with grimness5...really helpful..hope u'll be putting up more...thankz

  • Yeah i will trying to do heaps more but it just takes awhile for me to do each one...

  • Really helpful. Will you be putting up more?

  • Please Leave comments as to how I can make these videos better.. Only just started this project so I am still working on the other videos and they will be up soon.
