Raiden was an inredible character in both Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4, but konami made a mistake. Raiden's "death" scene in MGS 4 was moving, emotional, and simply well done. But, a few minutes later you see Raiden actually survived. His survival took A LOT away from one of the greatest scenes, his what appeared to be sacrifice to save Solid Snake, I've ever seen in a videogame.
