The new "sound' of theme song perfectly describe new age technology and XXI c warfare. Old song had WW2 feeling.

@extrapobro Not really. The 2142 theme was orchestraded and in my opinion fit the futuristic theme nicely.

The orchestraded theme feels more like it's related to war, and this new theme feels like it's something that belongs to a dance floor.

And here I tought the series was still called "Battlefield' not "Discofield".

it's indeed a bit too much overdrive & noise, but the theme of the song is right. it fits with the modern day BF setting (although the BF2 MEC load-song is still the best BF song to date IMHO)

I like the new music, it fits with what the game's modern setting, honestly, the old orchestra like music feels a little like a throwback to older war games about WW2, which BF2 and BF2142 dragged with them for continuity.
