  • Spare wheel with original tyre.

  • I am looking for a similar car. I am more polarised over the GT390 "Bullitt" car but 350 sounds good.

  • is it a mazda 323 turbo? looks smart as!!!!

  • whats the car on the right of jay as he go's to the back?? its silver

  • My favorite ride.

  • I love ur collection jay !!great videos!! Much love!!

  • "Were here in the Ford section of my garage" lol must be nice to be able to seperate your garage into different manufacturers.

  • me and leno like the same cars

  • haha u cheap ass bitch ass cant get the 67 gt500

  • @Shiitake1UPs 1967 GT 500 isn't worth getting the GT 350 is worth a hell of alot more money .. But you don't collect old car's so you don't know that .. I have 42 Mustangs collecting for 30 years.

  • wow that car looks tiny

  • sure there may be faster cars out there but no other car in my opinion looks or sounds as good and intimidating as any mustang

  • @k0olguy163 thats so true . . yes their are more great looking cars with faster engines but for some reason this is an american muscle car we can all afford that is actually cool lol not to fancy not to big not to fast just enough to make it special

  • I appreciate how Jay Leno is a self-made man. I also like that he followed his childhood dreams of "someday I'll own one of those" and he does! He's all class.

  • @5191keith No problem. It helps when you come from a Ford family. 3 members of my family worked in a ford electronics factory in Lansdale,Pa (closed a few years ago after a change in ownership in the 90's. My grandmother retired from ford in 2001) and my great aunt was the head housekeeper at the ford family mansion (long since retired. when she retired she was allowed to choose any new ford vehicle she wanted for free. she picked a taurus).

  • @CamaroAmx lol lucky.thats really interesting

  • @5191keith no the story is that shelby decided on gt 500 cause the number 500 was larger then any other number being used at the time in a car name.

  • Jay has had to have spent major, major time to create such a fancy set-up. Money alone doesn't get you all that, you need the inspiration. Cars are cars, but they are meant to get you somewhere, not be worshipped. I am in awe, being a car guy myself, but it all seems a bit overboard. Why not just put the damn thing on an altar and hire a choir? Oh wait, he's basically done that. But I am awestruck, he takes love of cars to another plane.

  • uuugh.. its a Shelby ;) ♥

  • Again,i LOVE Jay Leno 4 showing and USING his cars. Not hiding them and don`t know dick from balls about any of them.Imagine beeing a total petrolhead since childhood (like me and most others here) and then growing up to have the economy 2 buy EVERY SINGLE CAR u EVER dreamed of.Jay isn`t going to heaven. He is already there. His life IS heaven! It MUST be.

  • Whoever disliked this in over 3 years on being on youtube must hate America.

  • like 5R 09R 250242 I own this it is stolen indirectly car shoes # 2 thunder Bay ontario this will nwvwe bw posted I know but as my FXRS also stolen is alive but not dead :)

  • The thing that i admire about Jay is that he loves cars, and he's not about OMFG TUNING IS KEWL IMA GET A SKYLINE AND DOPE IT WITH KEWL SHIT

  • @RunningTheRiot kewl=cool

  • i love the displays he has for every car, its pretty badass and shows that he is a true gear head.

  • jay leno is a major gear head and i respect that because so am i, and he knows that its better to drive them then just let them sit there and build up a whole bunch of shit. thats why hes the man, AND ONE LUCKEY MOTHER FUCKER!

  • I love the car guy side of Jay. I can watch his garage videos all day, but I can't watch the night show.

  • @girl600podcast Same here. I'm much more of a Letterman guy when it comes to late-night, but his Garage episodes are great.

He really should've done the American version of Top Gear, rather than the boring hacks they've got in it now.

  • So nice!

  • god i love mustangs

  • GT 350 actually is because there was 350 feet between Shelby's office and the production/assembly line

  • I saw Jay in Cali driving a 193??? steam car

  • My friend's brother is named after this exact car.. not Lenos but you get the idea. His grandpa had one when he was a teen, haha...

  • Bahhahah, "sorry coo coo clock"

Niice Jay, spread the coo coo clocks genetailia... Classy!

    XD

  • Nice car Jay, but at least put the correct wheels on it. Most early GT 350's came with steel wheels but could be optioned with Cragar mags. Looks like you have a regular GT wheel with some sort of Euroflange lip. Other than that it's a fairly nice car........

  • @goesfastandfar these are the correct rims for the car. There were three rims available. The 5 lug stock factory rim (which looks like a spare), and 2 cragar mags one being the convex 5 spoke (the "vintage 40" and the upgrade) and the other one being the concave 5 spoke which is what jay has and is correct and in my opinion the most appropriate. you will see the vintage 40 on just about any car but the painted concave spoke just seems natural to the GT350.

  • jesus this guy has it all lol

  • Jay Leno has everthing except the ability to make people laugh. I know undertakers that get more laughs than Leno

  • thats not really why its called a gt350, right

  • @majordave223 It's called a GT 350 exactly for that reason ;)

  • I have the same differential in my 1964 Comet Cyclone... accept I am running 325 gears.

  • the best looking mustang of them all...

  • I like the fact that jay doesn't have any silly brand loyalty. Ford, GM or mopar, domestic import whatever he just loves cars.

  • i agree, im a car enthusiast, i've had camaros a mustang a firebird nissan skyline, why limit yourself

  • Mustangs are good cars, but they're way to popular now.

They're cheap, and theres plenty of them. I consider them a cheap muscle car

  • I agree, I think the same thing about Camaros, Corvettes, and and the new chargers. But, when they first came out I'm sure they were cool.

  • @myrabbitmoose Yeah, the new Camaro is obviously not a Camaro at all. I can barely see a Camaro in it at all. they just made something that looks cool and goes fast (in a straight line) and people fall for it thinking it's a Camaro, but it's just a regular car with the name Camaro stamped on it. I do like the Dodge Callenger though, it still looks like a muscle car and isn't as popular and over rated as the rest

  • I kind of agree about the challenger. I think after they quit making a car and come back out with it, it's just not the same. I think the same thing about the SHOs. I love them and have owned several (5.) I just don't care for them when they bring out "new" ones. Oh well, they've made more money off them than I have, so I guess they know something that I don't.

  • what !?!?!?! its so obviously a camaro, it looks so much more like an early camaro than the '90's camaro did, and the challenger is too much of a pastiche and looks a bit bloated ( not so much that i wouldn't have one you understand lol )

  • Lol, I'm not gonna even bother with a guy with the username "lukeshytalker02"

  • i wouldn't either if i were you, and your comment about the camaro going fast ( in a straight line) , the camaro will outhandle the challenger and the mustang outhandles them both, the challenger is a whale of a car at 4100bls , ffs its just for cruising, its 5.7 engine cant even out accelerate the 4.6 gt mustang let alone the new 5.0 !! Looks wise, i think the camaro has it down

  • @lukeshytalker02 The looks still kill it for me

and I really don't care if it can out handle the challenger, I'm not obsessed with it I just think it's a nice car. I'm not even into American Muscle cars. & watch the Top Gear review of the Mustang, lol. The mustang DOESN'T have Multi-link geometry, Dual rate remote reservoir dampers, fully interdependent rear suspension. My moms Mini van has that! The standard mustang places last in handling.

  • @lukeshytalker02 And Porsche, Lancia, Ferrari and other European car manufacturers make much better cars in my opinion

  • @ApplesAreLethal --Spoken like someone who has never owned a decent car. In the 60's you could get in an American car and drive across the US only stopping for gas and meals. Not one of the european cars you mention would have made that trip without a ride along mechanic.

  • Spoken like someone who has never owned a decent car. In the 60's you could get in an American car and drive across the US only stopping for gas and meals. Not one of the european cars you mention would have made that trip without a ride along mechanic.

  • get it in british raceing green

  • '' if your dad drove a Mustang then you're the coolest Kid in School! ''ain't that the truth!

My dad has a '69 Boss 429 Mustang in Ravenblack with Hoodscope, Magnum 500 wheels and Rear Slates. Every Friday He Picked me up from P.T Class and we drove trough town. God, you'd should've seen my friends faces! =D

  • my kids loved my mustang and it was only a '95 v6

  • @ 0:58 Nice Ford GT in the background

  • the shelby 500 GTR is the best mustang. (gone in 60 seconds)

  • It's GT500.

  • GT500 is the base model.the one from the movie was not the base model.

  • The GT 500 came in several packages

    The GT 500 428

The GT 500 428 Cobra Jet

The GT 500 KR (King of the Road) 427

The GT 500 KR 428 Cobra Jet (from what I understand, this was the ultimate package)

The 428 with hydraulic lifters was the "base" model (if you could call it that--this was a serious performer)

They all were, but the GT500 KR with the 428 was the best handling car.

  • @beepandbop Sorry to tell you... but the GT500 was never actually offered with a 427. There was the 1967 GT500 with 428 Police Interceptor, 1968 GT500KR Fastback with 428 Cobra Jet, 1968 GT500KR Convertible, then the 1969 and 1970. Technically, only 1 SuperSnake exitsts- 1967 GT500 with 427 High Riser designed for tire testing for Goodyear. 1968 had 2 prototypes- Green Hornet and Little Red (both Coupes).

  • the car from gone in 60 seconds is a gt500 E , thats E for Eleanor and isnt a real shelby, who in they're right mind would put a bodykit on a real gt500 its worth way too much money

  • actually, the GT500E is, it was produced in a low volume, and retailed for 125k with a 470bhp 7.0L V8.

  • i think that the -66 shelby looks a bit better, i like the rear side window on the -66 shelby.

  • Jay made a mistake. The first Mustangs had 260 V8s in them. The 289 came a little later.

  • lol 25 zek are u kidding me u live in a cave? he makes more than $14 million a year for over 7 years.. before that $8 million. hes loaded to say the least..go jay. he's the real deal.

  • Favorite all time car, I would KILL a man just to ride in it. Amazing car and the perfect colors for the perfect car.

  • how can you rate this bad?

    hes 100% allright !

  • 4.11 gears? Does he mean 4.10? 4.11 would be chevy

  • they were 4.11 not stock ford gears nether were the gears in the t10

  • Interesting

  • i love that he actually drives his cars

instead of just letting them sit in the garage forever

  • @slayer285

    Me 2

  • It was rumored a few yrs ago that Leno got an offer for his entire garage and that it was something well into the 9 digit realm.

  • 350 steps...lol

  • The 67 was the best looking Mustang especially in the fastback GT package with those thin red sidewalls.

  • you talk a lotta sense leno, and that's comin from down under, 5 *

  • i am glad areal car guy like jay is generous to show his great car collection.

  • i never knew leno was quite so loaded.... im jealous of his garage.

  • shit i was i had one of those my grand ma freakin sold hers back in the sixtys or seventies. damn well look like i gotta make a replica with a modern 05 mustang

  • Kick ass Stang!

  • im so jealous

  • COOL

  • AMEN Jay, "Ford gt, cobra, and the mustang." That's all anybody needs.

  • jay leno knows his stuff

  • I have a 1967 Ford Mustang Hardtop and he's right those kind of cars are very simple and stright forward to work with and indeed alot of fun. But I disagree about the 65 Shelby Mustang being the "best" Shelby. I think the all time best would have to be the 67 and 68 Shelby years because of the new style packages.
