Love your honesty - wish others were the same about freebies, what they're paid to advertise etc because I feel people are mis-lead and it makes me cynical. Anyway, keep up the honesty we respect you for it! All the changes sound good. I don't like any ads on videos (mostly because they're often not genuine places I trust so it seems pointless for viewers) BUT I think it's your choice so do what's best for you :)

however personally i get really scared if those full screen ads pop up on my screen i really dont know why

i personally find the ads really annoying, but it doesnt bother me so much that i would unsubscribe. and you deserve to make money of the videos you make, because they take lots of time and effort.

I agree with others! I think your honesty is great! Have to say i never knew much about youtube partners until your video! The adverts i just click off anyway so not a problem! I appreciate asking the subscribers first! (not many do they plunge right in with getting the money!) So thank you! ;)xx

Gemma, you must be one of the nicest and most genuine people on here. Firstly I do not mind long favourite videos, I actually prefer them to videos where only one product is discussed. I don't particularly like adverts but it wouldn't put me off watching a video. Some other gurus should learn a lesson from you and your honesty. I don't think you need to make any changes to what you already do. xxx

I would not stop watching your vids just because of an advert . the only feedback i can give is that i do think shorter vids are better ( well 4 me) i have sometimes started watching a vid and had to go somewhere n thought " ow i will watch it again later" but then forget (reminds me i need to watch part 2 of ur haul lol) . i love your video's and find you so easy to relate to so keep up the great work and please dont be so hard on yourself

You should do the adverts cause they benefit everyone in the end. As for the long videos i actually prefer longer videos, maybe i'm in a minority?! At the end of the day you should just do what makes it easier for you and i'm sure the majority of people will support your decisions. x

Hey. I think that for the share the love thing.. you should add one persons name at the end of each video or at the side bar because then people will have more chance to look through their page properly and the advert thing is fine by me. xx

its nice that you have been completely honest about this! i havent seen a guru do this yet. in regards to the adverts they are slightly annoying, but we can choose not to view them? and i think in the long run people would appreciate better contests and that! :)

I think people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to advertising on the internet. This is your channel and if you want ads up it's your decision and if people don't like them they can choose to not watch (but that won't happen). I am biased on this topic as I work in online advertising.

Because the questions being asked are mainly questions about what specific eyeshadow or clothes I am wearing, I couldn't answer them in a Q&A video, and the other questions about my age and where I'm from are all on my profile on here.

I like the idea of doing individual product vids for monthly favourite videos because sometimes i don't have time to sit through and watch a 15 min video and then i can pick and choose which vids i want to watch personally.

The big rolling ads don't bother me at all, so i wouldn't mind if you kept them.

but I was just wondering, since I'm only 11years old and obviously do not have the money to be splashing out on MAC products etc...could you try buy affordable products? I mainly adore Eyeko or E.L.F, but unfortunately you can only order E.L.F online...

In my opinion I think you should get as much out of youtube as you can as you spend a lot of time making videos.

I liked the idea of your clothes/make up etc in the side bar too.

Im not too fussed about the adverts at the beginning. There's adverts everywhere you go these days and I think that a 5/10 second one before isnt going to make much difference and if it does give you more money then thats great too. I think all these changes are good ideas and thank you for making this video. Hope this helps :)
