  • Mao Tsetung once tried to launch an invasion of Taiwan. He was promptly beaten to unconsciousness by an assault squad of representatives wielding shoes.

  • Why can't Canadian politicians care so much?

  • Can the taiwanese show a little more class than this??? Really a shoe???

  • This is more entertaining than pro wrestling or even Jerry Springer.

  • China is smiling...

  • hehehe is this tiring to funny?

  • You know, if the Taiwanese decide to tape more of these fights and put them on Pay-Per-View, they might raise enough money to BUY back their independence.

  • I wish our congress cared this much...

  • Isnt throwing a shoe in China one of the greatest insults you can give ??

  • @thebritish25 This is in Taiwan not China sorry bro.

  • @TheDopenessism many people do call it Taiwan and it is Taiwan but officially and the state recgonised by the UN is the Republic of China.

And the majority of the population is Han Chinese.

most of what was original Taiwan and Taiwanese has been striped away by Chinese Japanese some Europeans too.

and now the fight between the Republic of China the Peoples Republic of China.

more or less Taiwan has been on a large scale influenced by Chinese culture.

hence why I say " China"

  • @thebritish25 Looking by your username I guess youre British, then I guess it will be easier to say this way, In the past Britain had a lot of different colonies, India, Australia, New Zealand, United States. These countries now wouldnt say they are "the UK" now wouldnt they? In fact the Han Chinese part is unfortunately controlled by Chinese Nationalists (AKA Republic of China refugees) and it is not easy to change unless next year our Taiwanese president get elected again. (replacing Chinese)

  • @thebritish25 Chinese culture doesnt make the people living there ''Chinese'', there are a lot of countries were old colonies of different countries too. They didnt have the same name as their colonized countries. Singapore has Chinese culture too, but they are not '' China'' right? Identity is based on social experiences, not cultural ideas or ancestry. =)

  • @TheDopenessism What ever helps you sleep at night pal but regardless it still does not anwser my question

  • LOL

  • Reminds me of Pirates part 3:

'This is madness!' 'No, this is politics' lol Seriously, they should do this every week or so. Releases all the negative energy haha.

  • These people are children. Chinese and Taiwanese are children on EVERYTHING like this involving each other. So is Korea and Japan. Stop whining and MAN UP!!!

  • All they did was push each other around there was no actual hitting bunch of fags

  • Awesomee, it portrays how passionate, devoted and determined of them to fight for their respective sides and resolution, their voice =)

  • MORTAL KOMBAT !!!

  • I went to a fight and a parliament broke out

  • Ive heard they do it all the time... is this true?

  • MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

  • Fuck nationalists,blow them!!!

  • And they talk about a lack of civility in AMERICAN politics? Really?

  • Evil motherfuckers, fuck the system!

  • Hey everybody! I went to a hockey game, and a Taiwan parliament session broke out! LOL

    Happy New Year!

  • This love fights should be introduced to the U.S congress. Before we let the U.S legislators to practice; all chairs, benches, desks should be nailed to the floor permanently. The entire floor should be iced too. I bet you, all incumbents will retire the next day. This is the only way we can replace the entire congress with young educated people with fresh ideas. By the way, I enjoy and respect those Taiwanese lawmakers. They really fight for their voice. Good for you Taiwanese.

  • These guys still act more grownup than the US Congress...

  • @SaladSentinel Because our congress erupts into brawls.

  • HA! throwing shoes...HOW WILL YOU LIKE TO TASTE MY SIZE 12

  • Better idea about Russain women gettop5.info

  • @blissfullness93

  • Lol they are idiot do that here in Australia nd you get jail for sure

  • He needs VATS.

  • put them on a ring!

  • W00T PARTY!!!!!

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 Sure, talk all you want. Chinese make up all these stories about how rich they are. Again, without equal distribution of wealth, China might as well become the next Mexico. Mexico has some of the richest people in the world, but is it a wealthy nation? No. Why? Unequal distribution of wealth. Like I said 1% of China's population hold 40% of the nation's wealth. You call this a wealthy nation? Don't think so.

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 What's pretty ridiculous is that China could only brag about it's size. Taiwan's economy is built on innovation and high-tech development. We only have 1.5-2% of China's population but that doesn't stop us from producing industry leaders in every field of art and science all over the world. BTW, even YouTube co-founder Steve Chen is Taiwanese.

"YouTube's Steve Chen Celebrates Asian Pacific American Month"

Maybe you should consider using your own Chinese video site.

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 Chinese are pathetic. All they know how to do is brag. Are Chinese really that wealthy? Yeah When 1% of your population hold over 40% of your nation's wealth and 99% of the nation has to share 60% of what remains, you call this a wealthy nation? You show us 1% of your population and tell us you're wealthier than us? Yeah, we just laugh and ignore you. Good luck feeding 1/5 of the world's population (1.4 billion people) with 60% of your nation's resources.

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 Yeah, I know about the $586 billion stimulus package. Approximately 60% or somewhere along the line of $352 billion of that money went into the pocket of corrupt Chinese officials. I read this from British, American, and Chinese news. Go do your own research. If you want the articles I can send them to you. By the way, what is GPA? You mean GDP?

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 Generosity of the mainland central government? Heh... too funny. How come they are not generous towards their own people? Check out these videos on YouTube. Generous? Sure...

    中国的拆迁真实录像

    外国记者和北京访民短兵相接

    中国禁闻 佩洛西访华 北京数千访民示威喊冤

    禁闻 暴打官夫人 公安道歉打错了

  • @SecretChinkTrolling5 If Taiwan is a province then when do you guys plan on coming over and collecting taxes? Soon hopefully? The greedy Chinese government has yet to collect a single dime from us. Yet Taiwanese businessmen have made millions off of you. How pathetic is that? Don't bark at the tree if you can't climb a tree. Oh by the way, why are you calling yourself a chink? Hey, you said it... Who am I to disagree?

  • How does the democratic movement in Taiwan expect to be taken seriously by the rest of the world when they engage in this sort of nonsense?

  • At least, they fight for their homeland's interests. In my country, people just clap hands and vote YES... VIVA PEOPLE'S DEMOCRACY!

  • @raininthesouth "Even though part of Vietnam belonged to China and the other half didn't, Vietnam was never an independent country until 1975. So before 1975, To which country does this region belong to? Therefore, the true nature of China and Vietnam is like that of a son who has moved out of his father's house. So the son grows up and separates from the father. However, you cannot take the pond away. The pond (meaning the South China Sea) still belongs to us. We own the South China Sea."

  • @raininthesouth You, " Chinese brothers" always have a great sense of humor! Claimed things that aren't belong to oneself is considered dishonest and bad !

I highly recommend you should look for and read the book "The Ugly Chinaman and the Crisis of Chinese Culture"which was written by your own country fellow and learn!

  • @tofumacmua I am not Chinese. My family is from Taiwan, which China claims as a renegade province. What I posted was part of a speech by a Chinese colonel who claims that Vietnam is a part of China. I am telling all my Vietnamese friends this because they, like the Taiwanese, need to understand China's true intention in the Asian Pacific region. They now claim that the South China Sea belongs to them. What next?

  • @tofumacmua My country, like Vietnam, was split in half after the Chinese came. It is very painful to watch the politicians in my own country fight this way. But what can we do. China is trying its best to control Taiwan through an economic treaty that will destroy Taiwan's economy. We only hope that all the Asian countries can stand together so we can defend ourselves against China's aggression.

  • @raininthesouth haha, you're hear too!

politicians in that island aren't controlled by the ccp. first you disown the kmt (in another video), but now, they're your politicians? exactly, there are still sensible people in Taiwan who knows where they come from (everyone except pan-green and their supporters).

    ciao

  • What's the big deal? Why fight this way? I will tell you why. We Taiwanese can read Chinese news so we know what's REALLY going on in China. Americans have NO IDEA what China is like. The Chinese government is capable of a lot more than you think. Search the following YouTube video and you'll know why Taiwanese are fighting to block Chinese from taking over our island economically through the latest Trojan horse trade agreement known as ECFA.

    開發商200人棍棒圍毆拆遷戶 傷者被槍頂住頭

  • Taiwan has been in turmoil ever since the Chinese came to the island in 1947. From the Taiwanese perspective, we do not want to become a part of China and we will fight to defend our island's national sovereignty. China claims that Tibet, Taiwan, Uighur, Mongolia, and the vast China Sea including countries like Vietnam as part of their territory. To the Asian continent, the rise of China is a threat to regional stability. China and U.S. are already on a collision course. What next?

  • This is democracy.^^

  • ^^ loooll

  • i love Taiwanese girls ^__^

  • brawl did happened in America, I forgot between which member and a cane was used to beat the opposite party up.

It was during 1800's I believe, got to google for more info.

  • its funny to see a developed country manage a parliament with endless brawls. lol

  • People, pay attention to the commentator: "...to prevent a vote to change the COMPOSITION of CENTRAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION." In such a case, legislators should use all means necessary in that room to prevent a civil war from breaking out.

  • damn, it's like fucking jungle

  • haha taiwan=wayyy too much democracy

  • This needs to happen in the US. Lol I'd LOVE to see that. I love being Asian.

  • shoe*

  • anyonw know whose the dude that got a show thrown at him. ive seen him before he looks like a mad cunt fighter XD

  • i wish our kraut-politicians would fight each other in our godsdamn kraut parliamant...but they are to fat for this. :(

  • if only american politics was this interesting then i'd be glue to cspan all day

  • ugh this is commonplace unfortunately, in taiwan politics. my parents watched the taiwan news and scenes came up like this almost every night.

  • Ha ha, come on, this is so funny! We call ourselves the higher species, and then we act like this. These are the clowns running our world. (Note: In some countries, throwing a shoe is an incredibly rank insult)

  • Can you imagine Cameron and Brown going at it like that?

Gord' would be looking for a ski or a bottle while Dave legged it to the bike sheds to retrieve his crash helmet, with which he would batter good ol' Gordon.

  • lol! awesome!

  • Uncivilised farmers

  • Fuck you. Taste better than your mom, thnx for askin

  • who throws a shoe? honestly.

  • haha, i hope everyone gets that reference

  • @bobzilla211 LOL, u commented in 2009 and you only got 5 thumbs plus me?

  • American politicians have a lot to learn from the Taiwanese and UK. Americans are too afraid of expressing their opinion that might hurt someone else.

  • amen

  • DEMOCRAZY!!!

  • this is sooo awsome! I wish politics in canada were like this :P

  • They are. ha ha. If you can ever get into a parliament meeting, or see footage, it's hilarious. "I know you are, but what am I?" statements have been throw around a few times. ha ha.

  • They're really passionate about their job...

  • Them taiwanese politics sure r sumthin lol

  • I would love to see this happen in America! hahaha!!

  • man i love taiwanese politics!!!!

  • what kind of shit that was..

  • lol

  • With DPP now only 27 seats, they're going to get their ASS KICKED by KMT if they start any more fist-fights, 3 versus 1.

  • 台灣人相當文明。民進黨要推翻中華民國,那是革命。革命的手段是打架而已,文明啊!

    阿共的祖宗列寧革命時可是把沙皇一家都殺了,連小孩都沒放過。

  • This is how we should decide our bills here in the US. lol

    Boxing match for presidency!

  • It's in the genes of Fujian people.

  • are their really "law maker" or trouble makers, is that how violent taiwan people are? very shocking, i wonder where did they get their educations, not from the US i hope, because we don't teach people like that here!!!

  • izu33168: I hate to spoil your day, but alot of these Taiwan legislators were educated in the U.S.

  • no u don't..but your TERRORISTS attacking and killing thousands just for oil money...so you definatly are WORSE. u americans are wolfs in sheep clothing. don't insult asia, they have a long cultural history and you americans are barbaric next to them. cheers from the middle east!! the only place truth is spoken and people are not two faced!

  • And the whole "barbaric" part depends on your point of view.

Not all American's are barbarians and jerks. 2/3 of us are against our president; the way he acts and what he stands for. Please don't go making general statements that insult America, because then you are acting just like the Americans who insult others.

And not all of us hate Asia. I think that the culture is very interesting, as well as the history. I'm accepting and open minded, and I'm sad to say that not everyone is...

    ~TCMN~

  • i see your point. im taiwanese and very ashamed. ive lived in america all my life and currently reside in new york. im 14 years old and i constantly have to deal with americans saying that we are "all dog eaters" and we ALL have smalls eyes. i go along with it and somtimes even make fun of my own people but in the end it hurts me to know that people

  • i see your point. im taiwanese and very ashamed. ive lived in america all my life and currently reside in new york. im 14 years old and i constantly have to deal with americans saying that we are "all dog eaters" and we ALL have smalls eyes. i go along with it and somtimes even make fun of my own people but in the end it hurts me to know that people

cant except me as a human. i've assimilated well and most of my friends are white but wut america needs is more people like u;the accepting kind.

  • You shouldn't feel ashamed; none of this is your fault. And you shouldn't feel the need to pretend to not be offended when someone makes jokes about your people. You're a human being, just like everyone else, and you deserve to be treated as such.

And you speak very kind words to a complete stranger. You, as well, are a very kind person at heart. What goes around comes around; best wishes to you~

And I'm sorry to say that most people aren't like me. But I know that this cant be helped.

    ~TCMN~

  • You know what I hate it when people call Asians and/or Chinese "dog eaters". Why don't these Americans stop chewing on their deers, bears, emus, turtles, birds, and other creatures, then come say something. Get off your damn high horse!

But seriously, don't be ashamed of being Asian. There is nothing wrong with being who you are, eating what you eat, or exercising your cultures and traditions.

  • We eat emu and turtle?

Hell yeah, I have to get me some of that.

  • very nice riot

  • Yiihaa !! DemoCRAZY :D

  • whoever is the top kung fu master gets to be president.

  • taiwan goverment is a joke . Lol!!!

  • Taiwan is a great country but these politicians are stupid to fight among each other. China's the real enemy. Fight among each other and Hu Jintao will sit in Beijing with his popcorn and beer watching it on TV and he'll love it. Why? Cause if everyone in Taiwan hates each other, China will pull the divide and conquer scheme.

  • what kind of crap you were talking about. Taiwan is simply a province of China. And Tainwan's official name is "Republic of China". Stop all your bullshit.

  • Taiwan is an independent nation. Taiwan has its own military, democratic parliamentary system, eocnomy (own currency), education, and health care system. BTW, if Taiwan is a Chinese province, why would China point 900 ballistic missiles at its own province? Its because Taiwan is a free democratic nation. That's why there's no censorship. It's unfortunate nn1nn1nn1 was forced to learn only one side of history. Brainwashed.

  • i don't see any "education" from the "law maker" here, wonder which school did they go to learn to be violent like that!!!

  • and you're learning only the other side of history lol

  • Okay. Next time I go to Taiwan nn1nn1nn1, I will try getting the visa from the Chinese embassy. And by the way. Every time a person in Taiwan wants to go to China, they have to have a passport and a visa. And when ever there are direct flights from Taiwan and China, if you fly into China from Taiwan, you still have to go through customs. By those circumstances, how is the "republic of china" part of the "people's republic of china"?

  • yeah, u r right. china is ur real enemy and japan is ur dearest big brother right? oh just try to be a japanese then, huh? who cares if u taiwanese wanna and gonna be independent or not? u guys are confused about ur identity, not the chinese, ok? don't assume that everybody in china cares taiwan so much!

U R JUST AN SMALL ISLAND!

  • You think China doesn't care about Taiwan so much? I think they do. PRC Chinese always talk about the idea that Taiwan must be unified with China at any cost. Obviously that small island means alot to you. But be rest assured. I believe Taiwan will become part of PRC under CCP control. You and the other PRC Chinese don't need to worry anymore. Taiwan will be under CCP control soon enough. Probably within the next 5 years or less. I see it happening even now.

  • no

we will defend them to last

this is better then the commie goverment

i mean at least the media can r

    eport on such things

if da commies try sumthing the Allied countrys will have a commiefest

  • Taiwan politics...XD i luv it.

  • And these violent animals we let into the USA because of greed!

  • what does that mean?

  • after this may be they should hold meeting online.

  • barbarians

  • then what do we call the PRC officials launching missiles over the straight around Taiwanese election times? what could possibly be lower than barbarian? at least they are fighting for something IMPORTANT to them. Taiwan means nothing to the suits on the mainland, they just want to reap the economic benefits of controlling taipei.

  • everybody was kung - fu fighting hihihihi

  • its ashamed of all taiwanese people

  • ROFL you guys are all ignorant mudda suckas......Taiwan IS NOT a part of China...im taiwanese and I KNOW THIS....go google it or something jesus

  • shit like you never have a clue.

  • 枪杆子里出政权,铁拳头下生民主,华人到哪都是一个样。

  • Might be a good idea for China to leave Taiwan alone. The violence in Taiwan is a chain reaction of the pressure China puts on them. It would be easier to solve the problems if China had nothing to do with it.

  • leave alone my azz. Tell me what's the official name of taiwan?

  • the Republic of China. that's the governments official name. the land is china. the mainland is china as well and their government is the Peoples Republic of China. so what's your point?

  • Hah, you blame China for the incompetence of your legislators. They have no sharp retorts or civility so they use violence instead.

...And these people are leading Taiwan. We pity you.

  • hmm..kinda like what the chinese ambassadors (from PRC) do in the UN rite?

  • i wish i was there

  • Nothing funnier that suits fighting.

  • That's why ill educated crazy women should never be voted as congress women. Unfortunately, people in Taiwan are so dumb that they would vote for anyone that's nominated by the parties.

  • I think they're just happy not being part of China, and I don't blame them...

  • The island of Taiwan is already a part of China. The Republic of China.

  • Republic OF China, as in seperated from.

  • Politicians are the lowest common denominator.

  • The lawmakers forgot to make a law stopping this stupid fighting in legislative :))
