  • great one ¡

  • why is it that it takes 40 years before i even hear this song?

  • the drums that brian is actually playing now..i bought off a friend of his a few years ago..left them in london on a mad one.shit happens

  • This must have been one of the last times Phil's Rickenbacker was seen before it was nicked...It never suited him anyway ;-) Everyone knows him for the Black P with the Mirror plate...

  • this ballad and dear lord seal the deal on thin lizzzie's stature as a rock band...genuine...this tune is haunting ***** thanx

  • bad asss song all time FAV by them :)

sad to see music like this isnt really around with generations coming a long sadly i was born in the wrong generation :/

  • Bass hickenbaker

  • One Of The Best Guitar Solos In History And Some Wiseass Cuts Half It Off!!!

  • I've never seen Phil with a Ric, nice!

  • Well it would be very hard to have a drink with Phil. I thinks thats something I would trade most things for.

  • In my opinion, one could always have a drink, chat and a laugh with Thin Lizzy. They are regular guys who enjoy playing rock. U2 are posers from the moment they stepped on the stage. That is why Thin Lizzy sounds good and Irish while U2 suck. Hey Bono, save us all and stop playing.

  • They cut out the fucking climax of the solo!!!!!!!

  • I <3<3<3 this song :DDDDD

  • U2 couldn't run Thin Lizzy's errands

  • @CanadaDanDiega C' mon, no comparisons please!! Listen to "One" or songs from "Joshua Tree".....both bands talented in their own right!!!!

  • this one is too badass for words

  • How come U2 can't sound Irish like this?

  • I want this tune played at my funeral! <3 One of the greatest songs of all time in my honest opinion and everyone should listen to it.

  • who the fuck disliked this video

  • ThanksThin Lizzy Fanpage for being cool about people opinion ,and not blocking them ,Peace.

  • is it me or does downey make a mistake at around 2:56?? you can see him smile afterwards!!

  • i love my wild one, she changes like the wind, its crazy how phils words will always relate to us, if i was a vatican official we would make phil a saint, the rock and roll hall of fame is waaaay to under rated for phil

  • @jmoney31705 Yet the bastards haven't let Lizzy in yet :(

Twats don't know what talent, skill and musical genius is.

  • Cool purple pants Robbo.

  • this is such a beautiful song. Lizzy are classic. Phil is legend!

  • Look at them young lizzys !!!

  • phil we miss you !

  • You don't get sued for claiming to "own" the music. You get sued for distributing it without the consent of the license owner. So putting "I don't own anything" in the description is pointless and doesn't prevent you from getting banned, your video removed, or sued.

That said, Thin Lizzy is the best band ever.

  • yeh your right Scott looks pretty wasted here wish I had what he was having:love this song !!!

  • dion dublin should play lynott in the biopic that's long been muted. dead ringer.

  • i have this song tattoed on me <3

been looking for the LP for a long time, if anyone an help....

  • the goldtop les paul brian robertson is playing was originally built for Les Paul's then wife Mary Ford. How it got into Robbo's hand is beyond me but he plays it well

  • @leegeddyfan History?

  • @kngscb yep

  • Scottie is fucked here ! Greatest song ever mimed by philip !

  • think this is my fav lizzy track

  • a hi quality video recording and it doesn't cut the intro like the other copy of this performance on youtube. Top man (if you are a man).

  • A lost classic from this truly underated band. Thanks for posting!

  • Scott G is sooooo Stoned !!

  • miss you Phil ... :( ♥☺☻

  • i would like to go to a thin lizzy tribute concert, but.. i dont know any bands that tour and cover them, i guess ima have to start one. lol.

  • @rocknrollkid185 No one can replace Phil, but 'Limehouse Lizzy' are worth checking out.

  • @Fartyslartblast

not bad, thanks for the info. i dont see anything for nyc =/ maybe in the future. my only hope now is to resurrect Lynott with my horrible singing.

  • The best that there was...the best that ever will be.

  • THIS IS MUSIC!!!!

THIN LIZZY = ONE OF THE BEST HEAVY/CLASSIC ROCK OF ALL TIME!!!

  • I am truly surprised that after all these years no other rock band has used two

guitarists the way that Thin Lizzy did originally the Almann Brothers played this

style with dual rhythm and lead playing in unison. and other bands have played dual lead Wishbone Ash,Judas Priest,Iron Maiden and many others. But none accomplishing the effect in sound where playing in perfect unison while having different tones because of instrument and effects made for a truly unique sound in stereo chorus.

  • I've recently discovered Thin Lizzy and I feel like I've entered a whole new world in music. Twin guitars, powerful soft voice, great lyrics, and kick ass rhythms. Wonderful!

  • robbo looks really pissed of

  • @doddydays he probably hadn't had a drink for 5 minutes

  • I love this song...

  • Love Phil's voice. This is the two guitar sound before Maiden of Priest. Thin Lizzy is quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. The more I listen the more I love 'em.

  • la canción más entrañable de Thin Lizzy

  • That dual lead guitar is awesome!

  • @DiRTMP Yeah, too bad the video/song is edited.

  • this is probably my fav lizzy song along with massacre

  • @doraminikoniko Phil Lynott was a true poet. Add some twin guitars and a drummer from an alien planet called The Drum Planet, and you get this...I still have a small memorial in my head on phil's death day...R.I.P. Phil Lynott. You were too good for this world!

  • @doraminikoniko Love massacre. Looked up "devils canyon" It was a place the US military invited native americans to sign a peace treaty. The natives that showed up were "massacred". Thats what I read, it could be untrue.

  • The "Devil's Canyon" was the 1place the Union soldiers took up arms against the American Plains Indians the '300 warriors lying dead in the sand' refers to the Massacre at Wounded Knee. After Crazy Horse (their leader) surrendered (to save his elderly and young from starving and being hunted) he was killed in captivity at the reservation. The people broke out of the reservation seeing the writing on the wall, the union forces caught up with them at Wounded Knee and massacred them.

  • This one is stuck in my head for the rest of my life! Thanks Phillo!
