  • I don't half miss the old Loch Mhor and the transfer to Kinloch on the little Rhouma.

  • That brings back some happy memories of journeys on the Loch Nevis some in better conditions, some in similar, and one very memorable one that was worse!

  • That's nothing compared to what I go on to get of the island I live in.

  • Very choppy.

  • My guess would be May,not a midge in sight and a wee onshore breeze. :-)

  • awe its so cute is that we boat.god bless her we over worked engine.xxxxx

  • i could do that in my rubber dinghy

  • Doesn't look that bad.

  • Just been a passenger on the boat from Rum to Mallaig via Canna and Eigg and it was as stormy as the video. Good fun and worth the trip.

  • I took the Cal Mac (Caledonian MacBrayne) from Mallaig to Eigg recently, but im back in england now :( I went there on holiday. A week in fort william too :)

My girlfriends family just moved to eigg.

  • has anybody ever been on the much smaller ferry i think its called the sheerwater or something like that anyway it is scary trying to cross back to mallaig

  • Went on the Shearwater a few years ago - but it was from Arisaig just down the coast from Mallaig. A very wee boat that!

  • Oh dear, the poor Lochnevis getting a battering there

  • Is that the MV Lochnevis???

  • Yes!!

  • Not be calling into Muck the day then!

  • Can you explain how this footage was taken.

You were clearly on dry land yet you were able to track her for nearly 10 minutes without moving from the spot.

    Was she circling or what?!?

  • Just sailing past!!! If she'd been circling she would not hav been ploughing through an oncoming sea the whole time.

  • @sgaorishal it's because it has to sail round quite a lot of rum to get to canna

  • It's definately the Loch Nevis.

  • This IS Loch Nevis

  • that looks like the MV isle of arran

  • it looks nothing like the MV isle of arran, isle of arran is much larger
