just came on-line to find out more. Very sad to learn they are no-longer here. I have 2 rescued wild birds that can not survive in the wild. I love that there are others that experience the great gift of what we rescue, rescues us!
i accidently came across Chris's book "Providence of a Sparrow" for sale as used on ebay. looked up reviews before buying and wound up in the mormorial site. i studied everything on it while waiting on the book's arrival. i too have a special rescued sparrow. i enjoyed the book so much. of course knowing Chris and B are gone made me sad. i went back to the site to leave a comment, but it's gone! please turn it back on! i'm glad i downloaded the radio interview done only 8 days after B's death.
The site went down a few days ago -- espired credit card on file. Anyway, I fixed it. It may take as much as 24 hours to show up again ... Thanks for your comments and interest. Chris was a remarkable man, and B an amazing bird ...
Comment part 2: I believe Chris, Rebecca, and B's experience was truly a miraculous encounter (and I do NOT use that word lightly) that enriched the lives of all three and serves to enlighten (and delight!) a broad audience by illustrating once again the value and interconnectedness of all forms of life. I'm so happy to find these little videos on YouTube and "meet" these remarkable beings. Rest in peace, Chris and B -- you've done great work.
Comment part 1: I was midway through Chris's book "Providence of a Sparrow" a couple of weeks ago when I decided to go on line to see if he'd written anything since. I was totally shocked and dismayed to find an obituary instead. The second half of the book was so much more touching, and moved me so much after that, knowing the ultimate fate of Chris after B's death.
where can I find the radio interview done 8 days after B's death? How did B die?
