he didn't start out with all that money, he actually said a few times about how impovershed he was working as a carpenter and being a dj. Just like any tool, you build your set one tool at a time, or a small set, and when youget more money you can buy bigger tools or a larger set of them.

This is also his job, just like a carpenter, you have to have the best tools to do the best or really good work.
