  • this is not good ....... children should never play with guns ......

  • We need to teach our kids. maybe even teach a crash course in the schools.

In the high school I used to go to, a kid was at a party and pointed a "fake" gun with a laser sight on it. He shot him in the head at point blank range. I know someone who knew them and he said he was holding his brains in his head. He died en-route to the hospital.

    Every weapon is loaded. Always.

  • @iwillnotconsent woah so he had a real gun? how old was the kid, the owner of the gun should have a better place to store it

  • when you pull the slide back, do it from the rear and not from the front with your hand near or over the muzzle. other than that, not a bad video.

  • @tim06291971 thanks Im older so I konw the mistakes I have made thanks for your comment mabye I will do the AR-15 that my dad and I are building

  • seriously?

  • @Sm0k3NMirr0rs What

  • wow my dad has a glock and it issick

  • why did you call it a Glock 27 40 cal Smith & Wesson ?

  • @b311brian The .40 cartridge was developed by Smith & Wesson and thus its full true name is the .40 S&W

  • love to see the 2nd amendment passed down early!

  • tought it was the same rules for any gun....

  • My dad always had a loaded .357 in his closet. Told me to never touch it, and I never did. Remember,

Finger on the trigger: Safety off

Finger off the trigger: Safety on

  • It warms my heart to see a young American lad explain about gun safety. Thank God we know Americans can shoot the commie bastards dead.

  • Nice vid, please take a gun safety class to learn how to properly handle a firearm.

  • nice vid, be safe,, and make sure you dryfire in a safe direction,,, not into other rooms of the house.

  • More kids should teach they're parents about gun safety.

  • Good Vid buddy...Be safe at all times

  • I learned gun safety at a yound age and it has stuck with me after all these years. I am now considering buying a glock 27 and I saw this video. Excellent job!!! All kids should learn gun safty. Keep up the excellent work :)

  • its good to teach the kids as long as they dont take it to school or thinks its cool to go get it for somebody they dont like,my kids wont even know i have a gun.

  • kids with guns

  • i dont if you've seen my other vids but if you have nothing to say nicley dan't say it at all so im deleting you

  • He put his finger on the trigger several times while clearing the weapon, not good.

  • good eye for noticing

  • nice, it's good teaching kids the safety of a handgun as well as the dangers that could happen if they are not safe with them. My grandfather taught me how to hold handguns when I was, ohhh around 7 years old or so. I completely agree with teaching kids. That way they don't just stumble upon a handgun they never handled and start pulling that freakin trigger or looking through through the barrel with a loaded gun. :|

  • Good job. More parents should teach their kids about gun safety.

  • I agree!

  • Nice video kid! Hats off to you and PoP for the lesson in gun safety! My son is 12 and I've been teaching him weapon safety since he's 6.Again good job!!!

  • don't you think if someone goes out and buys a pistol they will already know how to do this?

  • Great job on the video. Your dad did good with showing you gun safety and you did a good job explaining it. Will the G27 be yours when you can own a handgun?

  • yeah im getting his guns

  • Dude, seriously... I wouldnt have this up online. You're at most, what? 8, 9 years old? And you're showing a gun online. I am 17 and my parents would never let me be in posession of their firearms. I see your point, but at the same time .. it's kinda unsafe no matter what. No offense.

  • this kid knows his shit about guns for the most part. Why is it that everyone thinks that keeping kids away froms guns is safer than letting them use them? You need to keep an eye on them but there is no reason to keep your guns hidden from your kids. That will only make them curious and thats never good. Let your kids (when you feel they are responsible enough) practice proper firearm use, wheter it be hunting or target practice. its not as bad as letting them find out when you leave

  • I knew how to clear a weapon at this age as well as how to shoot one. My oldest son will be almost 7 when i return from my tour, and he will be learning how to clear a weapon. I would rather have him know what to do with one than think its a toy. I agree with s197.

  • well it depends.. i mean my gramps been teaching me how 2 fire muskets n rifles since i was 6.. age has nothing to do with guns its the maturity.. more adults shoot n kill ppl than kids..

  • Prokid, bottom line; you did a great job on this video. I saw your 10/22 video too. EXCELLENT job on both. The first thing you talk about is making sure that firearm is unloaded. Awesome. I was shoooting with a friend of mine several years ago who spent 4 years in the US ARMY and he swept a loaded AR-15 across my head and shoulders. Last time I went shooting with him. It is so easy to forget. That's all I was trying to say. You clearly have the right attitude with fireams. Keep it up, kid.

  • i agree and i was. at the end of the safety video i saw my hand wave in front but it was 100% clear and i did it more than once so i picked the best one.

  • Son, you put your hand RIGHT OVER the end of that barrel. Twice. Then you nearly pointed the BARREL into your body . Also, you said that GUNS ARE NOT DANGEROUS. Young man, nothing is further from the truth. I heard you say "when handled correctly." Yes. I have been shooting 3 times as long as you have been alive, let me tell you again, NEVER start to believe that guns are not dangerous. You did a good job on your video, pal. Keep learning. Remember, keep that gun pointed down and away.

  • Wow, "kevdog" you are a true vulgarian. How proud your parents must be of you, that is if you know who they are. Also, exceptional choice of language for a young kids video post. I bet you are a well respected person in your community. It is clear by your post that you hate your father. That's really sad. He had such a lovely son. Maybe with your excellent safety skills you will injure yourself someday. All of us would enjoy that. Have fun in prison kevdog.

  • hey hey heyyyyy,

first off prokiller deserves credit for a job well done. He knows what he's doing. Kevdog, kevdog, kevdog with the name callin and such . Did your mamma feed you with a sling shot ? Nice job prokiller.

  • do not use that kind of language on this video or any of my videos

  • There is possibly a sweep at 1:43, but it is tough to tell with camera angles on a blurry camera. Granted, he should work the slide from the rear, but he came over the top for that. The muzzle never points near his body. This kids respects the danger and understands the importance of safety rules and is doing something to help others. You are really looking hard for a problem. Down and away isn't always safe... who says he isn't in a second floor apartment?

  • Hey Whitelaw, OK, you got me on the second floor thing...I should have pulled my head out, BUT are you gonna tell me that he didn't bring that barrel close to his body at about :32?? did he, or did he not? I am NOT looking hard for a problem. I promise you that. I was trying to encourage this kid. This is a good kid, unlike our friend Kevdog. I don't know what line of work you are in, but wouldn't you like to meet kevdog? I bet you and I could show him some things?!?!

  • ok i looked at 0:31 and it came close but it did not point at my body. i checked it about five times and it did not i repeat it did not point at my body and kwhitelaw was there when i did this video he was the camera man do I'm sure we both know it didn't

  • wtf??? a kid is safe with a gun i mean wat the hell

  • thanks everyone for watching my video

i might get another like this one out soon!

  • the glock 18 is the same as the 17. the only difference if full auto

  • Damn, you look about my age and you have a gun! LUCKY!!!!!

  • its his dad's gun.

  • got my first gun at 8. I had a beretta 92fs when i was 14.

  • Just a piece of advice, there's a reason why the serrated grips are at the rear of the slide. Next time, when moving the slide back position your weak hand away from the muzzle.

  • i was just thinking that. my friend shot himself in the hand that way with a sig saurer. luckily it wasnt a hollow point. still messed him up though.

  • Very nice video. All kids need to be taught like this. Very good points in the video. So many "Curious Kids" get injured or killed every year. It is so important to be upfront with your kids and teach them gun safety. 5 star!!!

  • thanks

  • i respect this young man and his father, good job on teaching your son safety .....

  • thanks

  • put more of this kind of vids they are really good

  • Not legal around here, unfortunately.

  • ok thats alright but why do u like glock 18 beter

  • Good video. Think safe, stay safe.
