Holy shit dude my dad makes these! When he was a kid he had a Polish friend and my das always went over to his house and his mom used to make them alot of sweets and eventually taught him how to make em! He doesn't remember the name so he just calls then "cocaine donut sticks" I shit you not bro!

Looks good! I think there are many variations of that type of pastry with the nice sugar coating. Amazingly crispy and doughy is how I like em :p I actually do cook a lot. so I may grab th at recipe someday when I feel up to cooking some more lol I cook during the holidays to give my mom a break [thanksgiving, christmas etc] and cooking for my family + relatives and friends for 8 hours till dinner is taxing. so maybe feb lol

I buy biscuits in a can, cut the middle out so they look like donuts, and fry them in oil and cover them in powdered sugar... so tasty. This looks somewhat similar but differently shaped and they look crunchy. Yum.

Faworki looks like the Slovenian flancita my mom made when I was young. We also had krofe (like donuts with sugar), and my favorite, potica (nut roll). Now I'm nostalgic and hungry. :-)
