how is it a hoax? it's simple applied chemistry: burning fossil fuels sets free more co2 than e.g. burning wood. green plants bind co2, take it out of the air. the million year old plants that make up fossil fuels are based on the same organic carbon compounds. but there's not enough green stuff growing on earth to bind the masses of co2 from plants that lived millions of years ago.

and as for the not working part: my father's former boss had a photovoltaicsplant on top of the building. it turned with the sun. all electricity for the computers and light and stuff came from those solar cells. it even produces access energy that is fed back into the net. you can google it: the guys name is "rolf disch" and the house in question is called the "heliotrop"
