les dejo a todos claro que estas dos bandas de las que hablan son mis bandas favoritas pero la nueva era bruce dickinson es mejor que la nueva era halford
@ironaca Are you kidding me? Faulkner is an amazing guitarist. The dude is beyond KK as far as skill and technique goes. He is faster and more precise. You might want to check some live footage before you talk ignorant smack
@Theenragedone I really don't have to check live footage, i saw them live, and saw Ritchie play with Lauren three times, and i don't care how fast he is, his playing just doesn't have the soul and identity, and i don't like his style it simply doesn't fit well, he made Judas is Rising sound so odd, and every time he started playing solos i felt like something is missing. And Ripper made Judas sound awesome in another way, Live in London is one of my favorite records.
@ironaca I agree on Ripper. I love rippers voice and loved the records with him. I still find Ritchie to be an great player. I find his solos to be skillful and quite good. I never cared for the constant wammy pushups that KK loved to use. I think he is making the parts his own. Im happy with him. I wish I could say the same about Halfords preformances in recent years. He has simply lost alot.
@turns2gold i agree with you man ,even i ve been a fan of maiden and priest since 1986 ,i could say the period of maiden of 1994 to 1998 ,was the least favorite of all, priest did great in this time from 1996 to 2001 ,i really wish priest had recorded a third album with tim,his voice gave the band certain touch of brutality on their songs and music and lyrics,.too bad i cant say this about blaze bayley,he always was unable to sing great notes live .
@turns2gold Bruce is my favorite vocalist ever but Blaze comes into third he did great with maiden but without Bruce or Blaze Maiden is mediocre Bruce carried them I am a Bruce fan mostly as well a Maiden fan but facts are facts. And Ripper was great for Judas Priest but better with Iced Earth
@MegaFisherman94 Your not the first Ive heard talk Blaze up like that . I just never understtod the appeal to his voice . Every Blaze era Maiden song sounds better with Bruce live I think . If Sign of the Cross was recorded with Bruce it would be one of my favorite Maiden songs , the live version with Bruce is amazing but never cared for the song till I heard it with him. How can you not like Paul ?? I love killers and the debut self titled album/
@turns2gold The version of Sign of the Cross on their Rio dvd is possibly my favorite song on there and there are a lot of great songs there. I wasn't really even familiar with the song before I bought that dvd and was really surprised when I found out that it wasn't actually one of Bruce's songs (being that was I just really getting into Iron Maiden around 10 years ago when that dvd came out). I never get tired of it but some long time Maiden fans I know just don't like it. Oh well.
@turns2gold it is really fucking ignorance to compare them. Better? Of course but not only better this is extremely higher level of singing that Tim showed in Judas Priest. Blaze Bayley and Iron Maiden has nothing to do with Judas Priest. Of course Bruce Dickinson is really a legend BUT Iron Maiden is much weaker band than JP. Judas Priest showed this world what real Heavy Metal is. With Halford and Ripper also
i love priest with rob, and he should always be the singer. but i just think on a quality of singing today, ripper is better. his voice is younger and a bit more clear than rob's. either way, i still love priest
All these people saying "Priest isn't priest without halford" - See it on all the videos and I couldn't disagree more. Priest isn't priest without Glen and KK. After all, we listen to priest for these fucking brutal guitars, do we not?
@everyonedoesit2 Well, yes and no. Take the Sad Wings of Destiny album. Victim of Changes. That song would've been infinitely different without Halford's magnificent wailing.
Either way, I take Priest as a whole. And Priest with Ripper is fantastic, but having seen them live with both Halford and Ripper, I have to give overall preference to Halford. :)
@emphaticleech I've seen them with Halford twice, never with ripper and both fairly recently. 2 years ago and 3 years ago. Sad to say, although a lot of it sounded great, a fair amount of it sounded horrible. They should drop songs like Painkiller from their setlist because halford simply isn't up to them any more - and they sounded, frankly, painful.
@everyonedoesit2 Totally agree. Painkiller is a great song, but Halford simply can't do it anymore. And there's no shame in that. He's still a wonderful vocalist/lyricist. ;)
@SpudAlmighty what the fuck are you talking about man? i got a link and saw it. and how could you say that rob is bether if you dont know how the other guy sounds like? before you wright the next time try to think about it before you wright!
I love Judas Priest, I love this song, I love live performance, bu isn't the band little calm? I mean, Iron Maiden has a lot better atmosphere at their gigs... I LIKE IT WILD!
I really liked the two albums with Ripper. Don't get me wrong I think that Halford is great and a Metal God but Ripper has a hell of a voice. I just wish things could have ended better with Priest for him. I thought it would have been a class act if Priest would have offered Beyond Fear (Rippers band) to open for them on tour. I would love to see Ripper and Rob get on stage together and make Cathedral Spires a duet because ot the over lapping vocals it would be tough song to do live.
@IronMammoth1993 I totally agree!!! What's really disappointing is that Judas Priest doesn't perform any songs from the Ripper Owens' era now that Rob's back. They don't even offer the 4 CD's on their site along with the rest of their post-Gull Records Albums. It's almost like they're trying to deny that existence.
Well with Ripper they made the jugulator and demolition albums that are a little bit more american and probably that's why these albums are not popular with british fans, but on the other hand they wanted to be more modern and to prove that they can sing any tipe of music...
cuz white girls suck black cock for for free drugs n think they're a rebelious gangster when they disobey their parents n listen to pure shit they would not listen to..n white dude all want ta be a ballers n think blasten rap out thier car windows makes them hard..bucnh of fucking faggots....Good enough Answer????
I wish they had made a special DVD of all songs live made just for Tim. What I don't need is more repeats of 'Breakin' the Law', 'Living after Midnight' , 'You've Got Another Thing Coming', etc.
I know what you mean. Those tracks you mentioned aren't bad at all, but they don't have the same magic anymore that they had 30 years ago, heh. I've heard them too many times. And those tracks sort of belong to Halford. And I also like to hear Tim performing songs from Jugulator and Demolition.

Quality track. I loved the "Ripper" years. Two stellar albums in my opinion, despite what the critics say.
