"lifeofapinoy" is correct. To bring all these social influence to this group destroys their culture. All they are doing is corrupting their minds. Trust me...some countries like that of Australia, USA and New Zealand believe in Social Conservation. And all they need is socio mentoring for them to preserve their own way of lives. They do not need "alms" for they have survived for so many year. All we are teaching them is to be lazy.
All filipinos globally, do not be swayed by such documentaries that undermine the culture of our forefathers. The Ifugao and other native tribes of the Philippines are great and must be preserved. In the highly westernizing country of the Philippines, it is so essential to look back on these tribes for further enlightenment and life enrichment. Religious guidance and spiritual assistance is not what these people need! They just need representation and help to continue their fulfilling lives.

i have a question..why did the roman catholic priests orderd the killing of pagans in europe who resist convrsion even though it is wrten to their "10 commandments" "thou shalt not kill"??

by the way...bible huh?.the bible today is not 100% accurate..it's just translated from the original one..many original testaments are missing for thousands of years.. and many translations on today's book are wrong..

natives of ifugao lived there for thousands of yrs. & now many other religions want to convert them, i think they're not "poor" bec for thousands of years the natives of Ifugao are self-contained. they don't depend on the outside world to survive, but now, because many are "helping" them, some native towns are now dependendent on the outside world for living, and it's not good bec their true religion and culture are starting to disappear slowly..
