  • would you know how to build a 120V voltage regulator?

i want to build one for my truck's second alternator so i can have 120V ac in my truck as well

  • you can buy one from walmart at 80/to 100$ cheaper and more reliable.

  • Very nice indeed.

One thing I noticed when comparing PWM to straight voltage regulators is that it seems like with a straight voltage regulator where your input voltage is 12VDc and your output voltage is near 2.2 VDC that it want to waste a lot of power. But then again, I am not an expert with Zener diodes. Maybe I am looking at the wrong designs.

Are you planning on selling a few of these regulators or posting the schematics (plans) when you are happy with the design?

  • after testing the unit and if every thing goes well as planned ,maybe i will if somebody ask for it .

  • Nice man very nice. Tube idea you have for the bottom hole is a good idea..these things still leak current on the top holes tho..Thats the main reason I want to build a no hole one ....But looking forward to seeing that thing pumping out some hho , keep up the good work..

  • Thanks JD i know that it will leak from the top but as i sad i can control the level of water so it will not touch the top .
