I am soooo confused. My doctor gave me 5000 IU , the RX said to add 4ML of bacteriostatic water and i am supposed to inject .10 ml a day.... is this wrong?
@WTFDudeTV No - that works - 125 IU in 0.1cc (10 units) - the top diluent/dose for the 5000 is 8ml diluent, 0.2cc - you're using half as much diluent and taking half the dose - that still equals 125 IU. (somewhat personal preference but using slightly higher dilution is easier to accurately adjust dose if needed for hunger)
Why do you add 5ml of water for total of 10 ml instead of just keeping it at 5 ml and reducing the dosage to half? I have been mixing my 5000 with 5 ml and taking 15 units for a 150 unit dosage. I am confused, I think, lol. Am I doing it wrong? Help.
@miket1m The way you're doing it is fine - I prefer the 5K in 10ml for a number of reasons, it's easier to accurately adjust dose 25 IU at a time on big hash marks (rather than mid points with the 5K in 5ml) and also - I work with people from several countries, many can't find the 0.3cc or 0.5cc syringes and have to use either 1, 3 or 5cc syringes for dosing as well as mixing... for them a higher dilution is pretty much a necessity for any amount of dose accuracy.
What would you say if I tell you that here I started my treatment a week ago in a weight loss clinic here in PR and they charge me $100 of the reconstituted hcg solution of hcg for 7 syringes filled up between 10-20 (in the middle) of a 1cc syringe? I assume that they are giving me less that 125 IU's? Today I'm learning by my own how to get my own hcg...what would you recommend ?

@100fabiomio I'd say what I've been saying - doctors are CROOKS. Enough hCG for up to 40 doses @ 125 IU runs about $42 from alldaychemist com . Hope at that price they at least warned you of possible gall bladder or gouty arthritis issues - a nasty clinic in TX is charging $1000 and not legally providing informed consent. Good luck.
@100fabiomio If you check hcgprotocol com - I have the most notable possible side effects listed on the overview page (gallbladder and gout are mentioned by Dr Simeons in Pounds & Inches, you should read through that as well) Very few have either, less than 1 in 1,000 by my numbers, gout has only occurred in people with a prior history, and if you add a small amount of fats (MCT oil, the chocolate delight or mac nuts) every 3-4 days it should greatly reduce the chance of gallstones forming.

@cocopuff541 yeah, half way between 15 & 20 units - I usually have people double dose on load days (250 IU) just to get their hCG up to therapeutic level, seems to make the 1st few days of VLCD a little more tolerable. Don't think a one time 500 IU dose will do any damage. You're welcome.

10K in 10ml - basically you just ignore the decimal point and add a 0 to the end - 10 units = 100 IU, 15 units = 150 IU. If they're talking about the 50 unit mark - that'd be 500 IU as mixed.
Hi doctor -I am taking 223 iu shot is it ok . On the very first day i did not even had the urge to drink.though i have never missed a single day of drinking for the last 10 years .plz advice .
Doctor would not go for the test you suggested..would have been gret to have good baseline to prove everything here.
I'm coming up on day 20 and I have lost between 25 and 30 pounds...so this does work and you really won't feel hungry more of just a not stuffed feeling.
Finding that you must eat your 500 cals or you won't lose as fast but somedays hard to eat enough.

150 IU worked best for me... for your mix - 0.233cc would yield 175 IU.

For some reason this just isn't computing for me. I mixed the 5000 IU with 5 cc of the b. water. I have been taking injections of .25 cc of the mix. Is this the right amount. My head is spinning from all of the info and just am trying to figure out if I am doing this right.

I tried 125 IU and was hungry, just adding 25 units WAY happier. In fact I tried 125,150,175,200 - 150 & 175 same, 200 seemed to slow loss. I recommend the smallest dose that gets rid of hunger.
Some people/clinics start people at 250 IU. Many complaints, and most were less hungry and had better losses in the 125-175 range.
The ones starting people at 250 suggest it's because of all the extra food additives that weren't around in Simeons day. Not sure, but "best dose" is individualized

I want to inject 150 IUs daily , so I draw up .2cc's in the syringe. Is that the same as "20" on the syringe of 100cc?
This may sound like a stupid question but I read that lotions and creams cannot be used while on the protocol given that the skin may absornb the oils. My question is; are deodorants ok to use?

Okay, so I have a 2000iu vile of HCG and was instructed to dilute it with 2 cc's of Bacteriostatic water, now I am not sure how many cc's to inject. PLEASE HELP, I have to start tomorrow!!! It says that it should be enough for 7 days, but it looks like such a small amount...
Might want to consider getting a new instructor - if dividing by 7, you'd be taking over 285 IU per dose, too much.
You didn't mention what dose you ARE using - @ 150 IU a 2000 IU will have enough for 13 doses.
For 150 IU - take 15 units on the insulin syringe. (15/100th of 1cc, or 0.15cc)
( volume is plenty, I did my last round with a micro mix - diluted 5000 IU with 1.66ml and was taking 5 units or 0.05cc per day for 150 IU using a 0.3cc insulin syringe)
hey tim, how sure are you with this micro mix? trying to minimalize injection volume. also, to take 200iu daily (cuz i was frequently hungry on 150iu), how much b-water do i mix and how much do i draw up for injection. thx in advance.
If you've got a 5000 IU, can add 1.25cc bac water and take 5 units for 200 IU. Would want the 0.3cc or 0.5cc insulin syringes for maximum accuracy.
One warning - IF the 200 IU doesn't do it for you, will be very difficult to adjust dose with any degree of accuracy using the micro mix. That's one of the main reasons I use the 5000 in 10ml, because it's so easy to adjust dose if needed.
One "fun" fact - when I started my first round the only mixes I could find (courtesy of the "trusted" supply site) had people injecting close to 1cc per dose, I suppose just to force people to buy more diluent.
In fact when I first posted the 10ml per 5000 IU mix ratio - I heard it caused a ruckus on many chat boards, people stating it was "too small a dose" - now it seems to be the gold standard. Funny how things evolve.
Delmem, my question has probably been discussed before yet I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. The book "Pounds & Inches" reads that shots should be administered into the gluteus vice the belly fat. Everyone here seems to be doing the "belly fat" shot instead though! Can you tell me which is it? My spouse will begin the protocol a week from now and I'd like to know the site of the shot in order to buy the appropriatte syringes. Thanks!
Hey B. P&I did in fact mention deep IM, 2" needles I believe. As I mention on my site there's no need to go deep, more risk & tissue damage, no real benefit.
Most clinics will only show how to inject subQ. I use 1/2", some go as short as 5/16", and most all are losing 10-14% of the total body weight in 30 days.
If you can find product insert made for EU countries, quite a few of them list admin as IM OR subQ - though US inserts only say IM.
I have been on 125 daily dose for 23 days and lost 11lbs.A friend & I went in on this together and she wanted to up the daily dose to 175 and mixed 27.5ml (as she lost some) to 5000iu. I want to stay at 125 daily. Can you please tell me the number of units I will need to take to be at 125 and the number she will need to take to be at 175 with the 27.5ml to 5000iu? Thanks!
I purchased a 10,000 iu amp and need mixing instructions to give 150 iu daily. In the package insert it also said to use the reconstituted solution IMMEDIATELY. I was under the impression that it kept its potency if kept in the refrig. Thanks so much for being there for all of us!
The insert probably also says it's not effective for weight loss - yet here we are..
According o the NIH it's good for up to 60 days after reonstitution if refrigerated. I've used a mix 40 days after without any potency issues.
Depends on your dose syringes & mixing vial. Can add 10ml to the 10,000 IU and take 15 units - or if you have a larger mix vial add 20ml and take 30 units. About the only advantage to the latter is if you want to adjust your dose later on. (25 IU bump)

mL is the same volume as a cc - it's just referred to as cc (cubic centimeter) when it's inside a syringe.
Can't give you an answer for IU per mL - it depends on how you mix it. Quite a few clinics are big on 166 IU - so mixing for 150 IU per video above should do you alright.
my friend and i are about to start anther round of hcg we are going to do 200IU and the new hcg we got is 10K we need to know how much bacteriostatic water to use and how many cc's to use in our syringes. We are sharing the vile and so we thought we would have to use less this time
You can add 10ml and take 20 units (0.2cc) for 200 IU - OR - add 20ml and take 40 units (0.4cc) for 200 IU - OR - add 30ml and take 60 units (0.6cc) for 200 IU.
I read somewhere that instead of using 10,000 IU's for 40 days, I should get 2- 5,000 IU's and use each for 21 days. This would avoid losing the potency in one 40 day mix. I ordered 2 5,000 IU bottles.

You can mix however you like I'd add 10ml to the 5000 and take 25 units (0.25cc) for the 125 IU. If you want to inject 0.5cc for whatever reason you'd need to add 20ml to a 5000 for a 125 IU dose.
Personally - I've been able to go a full forty days after mixing with no perceived loss of potency. According o the NIH it's stable if refrigerated up to 60 days once mixed.
I am aware that someone recently started up uproar with several claims - based on theory not experience.

Here's another question: I am a very picky eater but I love salads. Can I get away with eating carrots and salads for my veggie intake? Or can i take veggie supplements or drink V8 juice?
On my salads I usually put iceburg lettuce, mozz cheese, pepparonni and ham with homemade italian dressing. is this ok or not? I also like carrots, so is that ok to use for my daily veggie intake? IF not, then what about teh V8 juice or taking veggie pill supplements?
Avoid carrots due to high glycemic index. I typically had iceburg with either chunked red onion or tomatoes.
mozz & pep most likely too high in fat.. a bit of a cheat but can get wishbone salad spritzers, but just use a few sprays, enough to give it a little flavor.
If you like oil and vinegar - can get MCT oil and use it for salad. Not a fan of vinegar myself so havent tried it, but should be able to spice it up pretty well.

Hi. Most Novarel comes in a glass vial that is large enough to hold your mix. If you have 0.5cc insulin syringes you can just add 10ml of bac water and take 15 units for 150 IU.
You can either measure out all your doses in syringes right after you mix and refrigerate in a zip lock or clean container, or you can measure your doses each day. Depends on which is most convenient for you - though measuring out all at once when you have plenty of time usually works out well. Good luck.
Okay, I used to go to my doctor and he would do everything. I now ordered everything myself. With my doctor, I used to get 200iu daily, but on the needle it showed the 20... here, your saying 150 is .3 which is 30 on the needle. I'm confused... It just depends on the mix ratio as to daily dose volume, you could mix with a total volume of 30ml and take 3 mL (300 units) or mix with a total volume of 1mL and take 0.1mL (10 units) - BOTH will give you 200 IU, just depends on the dilution factor.
Assuming you want to continue with 200 IU per dose, would suggest adding 4ml of bacteriostatic water to 2000 IU and taking 40 units for the 200 IU. You could add 2mL and take 20 units, 3mL and take 30 units, 5mL and take 50 units, and so on.
I know you are probably tired of doing the math for so many of us, but I want to make sure I have this right. We mixed 5ml of bacteriostatic water to 5000IU. For my husband to do 200IU he would take 20 units on the syringe and for me to do 175 units then I would measure just slightly less than 20 units? I wanted to make sure I didn't need to change the amt of bacteriostatic water depending upon our dosage. Thank you for your help.

You can use the 5000 IU sheet - just double the total mix volume, or cut the daily dose volume in half - depending on what sized mix vial & syringes you're using.
Simeons suggested 125IU in Pounds & Inches, I've seen some sites & clinics that went up as high as 250IU - from personal experience 150 IU seems to yield excellent results.

You could have used the 10cc and dosed with 15 units... with the mix you stated 0.5cc will yield 166.66 IU, 0.45cc will give you 150 IU.

That'd be 250 IU - most people do better in the 125-175 IU range (0.125-0.15cc) or 12.5 to 15 units if using an insulin syringe to dose.

I tried 125 IU and was hungry, just adding 25 units WAY happier. In fact I tried 125,150,175,200 - 150 & 175 same, 200 seemed to slow loss. I recommend the smallest dose that gets rid of hunger.
Some people/clinics start people at 250 IU. Many complaints, and most were less hungry and had better losses in the 125-175 range.
The ones starting people at 250 suggest it's because of all the extra food additives that weren't around in Simeons day. Not sure, but "best dose" is individualized

I think that's it's so great that you are still active on this video to help us out. I am among the dimly lit on this new adventure. I bought the 5000 IU size, mixed with 6.6 Bac water. I want to inject 150 IUs daily , so I draw up .2cc's in the syringe. Is that the same as "20" on the syringe of 100cc?

This may sound like a stupid question but I read that lotions and creams cannot be used while on the protocol given that the skin may absornb the oils. My question is; are deodorants ok to use?

Okay, so I have a 2000iu vile of HCG and was instructed to dilute it with 2 cc's of Bacteriostatic water, now I am not sure how many cc's to inject. PLEASE HELP, I have to start tomorrow!!! It says that it should be enough for 7 days, but it looks like such a small amount...

Might want to consider getting a new instructor - if dividing by 7, you'd be taking over 285 IU per dose, too much.
You didn't mention what dose you ARE using - @ 150 IU a 2000 IU will have enough for 13 doses.
For 150 IU - take 15 units on the insulin syringe. (15/100th of 1cc, or 0.15cc)
( volume is plenty, I did my last round with a micro mix - diluted 5000 IU with 1.66ml and was taking 5 units or 0.05cc per day for 150 IU using a 0.3cc insulin syringe)

hey tim, how sure are you with this micro mix? trying to minimalize injection volume. also, to take 200iu daily (cuz i was frequently hungry on 150iu), how much b-water do i mix and how much do i draw up for injection. thx in advance.

Hey Ron.
If you've got a 5000 IU, can add 1.25cc bac water and take 5 units for 200 IU. Would want the 0.3cc or 0.5cc insulin syringes for maximum accuracy.
One warning - IF the 200 IU doesn't do it for you, will be very difficult to adjust dose with any degree of accuracy using the micro mix. That's one of the main reasons I use the 5000 in 10ml, because it's so easy to adjust dose if needed.

One "fun" fact - when I started my first round the only mixes I could find (courtesy of the "trusted" supply site) had people injecting close to 1cc per dose, I suppose just to force people to buy more diluent.
In fact when I first posted the 10ml per 5000 IU mix ratio - I heard it caused a ruckus on many chat boards, people stating it was "too small a dose" - now it seems to be the gold standard. Funny how things evolve.

Delmem, my question has probably been discussed before yet I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. The book "Pounds & Inches" reads that shots should be administered into the gluteus vice the belly fat. Everyone here seems to be doing the "belly fat" shot instead though! Can you tell me which is it? My spouse will begin the protocol a week from now and I'd like to know the site of the shot in order to buy the appropriatte syringes. Thanks!

Hey B. P&I did in fact mention deep IM, 2" needles I believe. As I mention on my site there's no need to go deep, more risk & tissue damage, no real benefit.
Most clinics will only show how to inject subQ. I use 1/2", some go as short as 5/16", and most all are losing 10-14% of the total body weight in 30 days.
If you can find product insert made for EU countries, quite a few of them list admin as IM OR subQ - though US inserts only say IM.

I have been on 125 daily dose for 23 days and lost 11lbs.A friend & I went in on this together and she wanted to up the daily dose to 175 and mixed 27.5ml (as she lost some) to 5000iu. I want to stay at 125 daily. Can you please tell me the number of units I will need to take to be at 125 and the number she will need to take to be at 175 with the 27.5ml to 5000iu? Thanks!

Not user friendly mix instructions - you'd need 68.75 units for 125 IU, 96.25 units for 175 IU.
For future reference - just add 10ml to a 5000 -
For 125 IU - take 25 units.
For 150 IU - take 30 units.
For 175 IU - take 35 units.
For 200 IU - take 40 units.

I purchased a 10,000 iu amp and need mixing instructions to give 150 iu daily. In the package insert it also said to use the reconstituted solution IMMEDIATELY. I was under the impression that it kept its potency if kept in the refrig. Thanks so much for being there for all of us!

The insert probably also says it's not effective for weight loss - yet here we are..
According o the NIH it's good for up to 60 days after reonstitution if refrigerated. I've used a mix 40 days after without any potency issues.
Depends on your dose syringes & mixing vial. Can add 10ml to the 10,000 IU and take 15 units - or if you have a larger mix vial add 20ml and take 30 units. About the only advantage to the latter is if you want to adjust your dose later on. (25 IU bump)

mL is the same volume as a cc - it's just referred to as cc (cubic centimeter) when it's inside a syringe.
Can't give you an answer for IU per mL - it depends on how you mix it. Quite a few clinics are big on 166 IU - so mixing for 150 IU per video above should do you alright.

my friend and i are about to start anther round of hcg we are going to do 200IU and the new hcg we got is 10K we need to know how much bacteriostatic water to use and how many cc's to use in our syringes. We are sharing the vile and so we thought we would have to use less this time

You can add 10ml and take 20 units (0.2cc) for 200 IU - OR - add 20ml and take 40 units (0.4cc) for 200 IU - OR - add 30ml and take 60 units (0.6cc) for 200 IU.

I read somewhere that instead of using 10,000 IU's for 40 days, I should get 2- 5,000 IU's and use each for 21 days. This would avoid losing the potency in one 40 day mix. I ordered 2 5,000 IU bottles.
Now , I am confused on the mixing. I had used 10,000 IU's of Novarel with 30 ML of bac water for 40 days. Should I use 5,000 IU's with 15 ml's of bac water and remix after 21 days? This is for 125 IU inj. daily.
Also,Is that to the "50" mark on the needles?

You can mix however you like I'd add 10ml to the 5000 and take 25 units (0.25cc) for the 125 IU. If you want to inject 0.5cc for whatever reason you'd need to add 20ml to a 5000 for a 125 IU dose.
Personally - I've been able to go a full forty days after mixing with no perceived loss of potency. According o the NIH it's stable if refrigerated up to 60 days once mixed.
I am aware that someone recently started up uproar with several claims - based on theory not experience.

Here's another question: I am a very picky eater but I love salads. Can I get away with eating carrots and salads for my veggie intake? Or can i take veggie supplements or drink V8 juice?
On my salads I usually put iceburg lettuce, mozz cheese, pepparonni and ham with homemade italian dressing. is this ok or not? I also like carrots, so is that ok to use for my daily veggie intake? IF not, then what about teh V8 juice or taking veggie pill supplements?

Avoid carrots due to high glycemic index. I typically had iceburg with either chunked red onion or tomatoes.
mozz & pep most likely too high in fat.. a bit of a cheat but can get wishbone salad spritzers, but just use a few sprays, enough to give it a little flavor.
If you like oil and vinegar - can get MCT oil and use it for salad. Not a fan of vinegar myself so havent tried it, but should be able to spice it up pretty well.

I had a 10,000amp bottle of hcg that I mixed with 25 mls of bacwater. I am going to take 175 units each day for my diet. my question is this: in my kit I received 1ml insulin syringes that have two sets of numbers on it. The first set goes from 10 to 100 and the other set is 15 to 95 units. For my diet (175 units) which number do I fill my syringe to on my needle? and which set of numbers do I need to look at when filling the syringe? thanks in advance for your help!

Would have been an easier mix to add 20ml to a 10,000 and take 35 units for your 175 IU.
Adding 25ml to a 10K - you'd have to take 0.437cc (43.7 units on your syringe)

Ok I am just starting and am really confused now. I have 10,000 IU of novarel and 30ml bac water and 30 insulin syringes to do the 39 day protocol at 150IU per day how would you reccomend I mix this? do i need a seperate bottle and syringe for mixing> do I draw each injection as I need it? or all at once and store in the fridge. Hi. Most Novarel comes in a glass vial that is large enough to hold your mix. If you have 0.5cc insulin syringes you can just add 10ml of bac water and take 15 units for 150 IU.
You can either measure out all your doses in syringes right after you mix and refrigerate in a zip lock or clean container, or you can measure your doses each day. Depends on which is most convenient for you - though measuring out all at once when you have plenty of time usually works out well. Good luck.

Okay, I used to go to my doctor and he would do everything. I now ordered everything myself. With my doctor, I used to get 200iu daily, but on the needle it showed the 20... here, your saying 150 is .3 which is 30 on the needle. I'm confused... Also - I have 2000iu of HCG - how much water and how much hcg should I put in??? So Confused

It just depends on the mix ratio as to daily dose volume, you could mix with a total volume of 30ml and take 3 mL (300 units) or mix with a total volume of 1mL and take 0.1mL (10 units) - BOTH will give you 200 IU, just depends on the dilution factor.
Assuming you want to continue with 200 IU per dose, would suggest adding 4ml of bacteriostatic water to 2000 IU and taking 40 units for the 200 IU. You could add 2mL and take 20 units, 3mL and take 30 units, 5mL and take 50 units, and so on.

I know you are probably tired of doing the math for so many of us, but I want to make sure I have this right. We mixed 5ml of bacteriostatic water to 5000IU. For my husband to do 200IU he would take 20 units on the syringe and for me to do 175 units then I would measure just slightly less than 20 units? I wanted to make sure I didn't need to change the amt of bacteriostatic water depending upon our dosage. Thank you for your help.

THANKS...I think i may up my dose from 125iu to 150...since i still feel hungry...really hungry...so i guess once my 125iu @.2cc a day finishes i will up it...it may be that i did gorge enough ...but belive me i felt like i did...so far.. 4 days and 7 pounds gone...It might be water weight first week then the real weight will release from everyone else's postings...let me know if this is the way it worked for you..ketone sticks are still at negative

If you can try to wait it out through day 5 vlcd - some people feel somewhat hungry even at higher doses, but by day 5 usually the hunger works out.
I almost always hit halfway up the stix by end of day 2 vlcd.

You can use the 5000 IU sheet - just double the total mix volume, or cut the daily dose volume in half - depending on what sized mix vial & syringes you're using.

Simeons suggested 125IU in Pounds & Inches, I've seen some sites & clinics that went up as high as 250IU - from personal experience 150 IU seems to yield excellent results.
