i saw this film when it was relesed but dont remmber it was in color -the song.Some films had songs in color. The title of the film will show 'partly in color'

Surprised to find there were colored movies (more like colored scenes) back in 1960.

if "Ta Mi" is the right pronunciation instead of "Tu Mi" - i would say that the poet/MD has taken a poetic license.

Rest of the words "piaci cara" are pronounced correctly by Kishore, AFAIK.

Again a sort of Hindi-word is indicated in words sounding like "tumhi" & "Piya"

Nice upload! I was looking for the song but itis not in the VCD of the movie, released some time back.

Have you noticed that though the song is supposed to be in Rome, the hero-heroine are in Mumbai's studio only!
