The arctic monkeys are my ALL TIME favorite band. I mean I love this band, but their sound changed way too much lately for my liking. Why change so much? Their older stuff like Whatever People Say... and Favorite Worst nightmare, even their old demos were the best shit ever. I liked them for a reason, and now I dislike almost all their songs. I'm pretty mad. I hope they play their old stuff at their concerts.

The ones you love immediately, and 2. the ones that takes a few listens because of a more complicated melody. 1. is songs that often get worn out fast (popular mainstream) and 2. are songs that doesn't get so repeated, and after a while you fall deeper in love with... In my opinion their first two albums go under 1. and the third and fourth goes under 2.

@LM10R80 I used to feel that way but the more i listened to their new stuff the more i like it. there is more maturity and experimentation in their last couple albums, which took a while to grow on me but its just as good. trust me. i hate bands that stick to the same sound forever and are too scared to try new things (eg disturbed, nickelback lol)
