Some people do not understand why is was necessary to have the Genevia Convention which was accepted by all the major players, except Cuba. All countries thought they could count on humane treatment of war prisoners. Bush got around the Convention's rules by taking prisoners to Cuba (Gitmo) because torture is not against the law there. Look at the CNN exit poll. 60% of voters said Palin was a factor in their vote. Those voters voted 56% for McCain and only 43% for Obama. Palin helped McCain. You'd have to be a fool to misinterpret those numbers.
