  • Thank you!!! I saw bellaboy44's vid but she diddnt explain the significance of the .8

This helped my understanding alot, thanks.

  • Great video

  • Do you have to keep adding this amount of water every time it starts getting dry?? :/

  • @stephster575 The moisture is trapped inside the box, some breeders use the method to keep the lid off and put extra water in the incubator every time its low, but this way is the most efficient

  • @chrisrocks750 Thank you! :)

  • if thw box is air tight wouldnt it kill the baby leopard geckos

  • @ny51luw yes, but they dont stay in those boxes, theyre just for incubating the eggs..once they hatch they are moved out into a hatchling rack.

  • can someone please answer me.

if your leo egg starts swelling, while in the incubator ( because of humidity, causing the egg to absorb moisture) does that mean there fertile?

  • can u put different aged clutches in the container

  • will you need to carry on adding water later on in the operation in like a month or so

  • would you really need an incubator can u just uselike a small plastic container inside of a another and bigger plastic container and use a heat matt

  • your right no need to buy an expensive incubator ;)

  • If i breed a hypo tangerine and a high yellow what would the outcome be?

  • i also want to know wht the baby wilkl be if shtct and high yellow??

  • Probably a duller hypo tang

  • 50% high yellow 25% hypo tangerine and 25% of someting in the middle

  • hypo tangerine het high yellow or the opposite of that.

  • why did u sharpie on some of the eggs?

  • When breeding, does the hatchling depend on the parents, or can it morph be a different type.

I have an Albino tangerine, and if i breed it with a normal coloured leopard, what could the outcomes be?

  • you may get albinos, tangerines, albino tangerines or normals.

  • so how do you make a new morph?

  • you have to breed morphs together, say you wanted to make a mack snow albino, You would breed a mack snow to a tremper albino this would create mack snow het tremper albino, when you bred these hatchlings together you would come out with a mack snow albino, of course its not as simple as this there are alot of percentages behind it.

  • you would have het's, which means they would be normal but would reproduce albino tangerines.

  • wered u find the weighing scale and how much also were can i find perlite and an incubater or will they be fine in the leopard gecko tank

    and if so how hot

  • where did you get ur weighing scale and for how much?

  • go to amazon nd there like 8-60 bucks just search gram scale

  • What if you don't have something to measure the mass of the perlite or water with? Would you be able to do a "so-and-so many cups of perlite" for every "so-and-so cups of water?"

  • My leopard gecko ( bell albino ) i think. got some green / blue something over hes eyes ?? is it sick ??? please reply me fast hes about 4 months old just got him for 4 days ago

  • Its called eyeshawdow. Dont worry, it is suppose to be on them. All my babies I have ever gotten have it, some blue, some green, some both.

  • if u like geckos u should watch my videos

  • feed him as many as he will eat in about 10 mins...remember to dust with calcium every other day and vitamins at least once a week

  • 4 MIGHT be a little too much. on one of the gecko videos i watched it said they should get at least 3 a day. But I have 3 geckos so its hard to feed all of them

  • how often do u have to resoak it?

  • how do u heat it

  • will certain leo morphs not breed or does it matter because ive got to year old leopard geckos one male and one female the male is a blizzard and the female is a paternless but they wont breed. i have tried changing the amount of light they get and i have tried changing the heat (not too drasticly but maybe a degree hotter or colder) but i cant get them to mate and the female has never laid a fertile egg

  • Regardless of what morphs you choose it doesn't really have an affect on whether or not they breed. It just depends on the individual animals. Not all males and females get along, some might even become dangerous to each other. If breeding is unsuccessful this year try again in a couple of months or buy another female(but only unless you really really want to breed haha:)

  • can you use that shredded coconut stuff??

  • WER DO U GET PERLITE?? please tell me on my page!!!!!:THANX:D

  • u can get it at a local petstore or reptile store/breeder.

  • hey in your incubator where is the heat coming from or dont the eggs need heat please reply soon ma gecko gunna drop

  • if u see at 1:48 to 1:50 he or she uses heat tape on the bottom of the incubator or wat he/she uses.

  • what red?

  • ive got two questions, Do you have to punch holes in the tuperware/incubator? and do you have to add water to the perlite during incubation?

  • ya add some water around the edges not on the eggs. No you dont have to punch holes in the container(s) because the egss dont breath. Also make sure you wipe the top of the container top so no water from the top of the lid drips on your eggs every so often.

  • hmm eggs do need to breath mate

  • well considering you have to open the lids on the container, they do get some oxygen but they dont actually breathe it...

  • where could i find leopard gecko eggs to incubate? i dont have any leopard gecko's so i couldnt make them mate...

  • people don't normally sell the eggs.

  • instead or perlite can u use sand

  • its usually perlite or vermiculite

  • its either vermiculite, perlite or a new thing called hatchrite. You probably could use sand but its not very effective at keeping the humidity

  • I wouldnt reccomend sand for small geckos but you could use vermiculite or perlite.

  • my leopard gecko wont eat any thing apart from the odd pinky or fuzzy but it has a fat tail cud it be pregant in january or is it sick

  • normally when thay stop eating for a cupple of days there about ready to lay make shore its got a good layying box or plenty of sand to berry the eggs in and keep an eye on the gecko it should drop sudenly in wate so keep it pumped full of calci vits and food

  • its a (incubator) and it has (warmth) to keep the container (warm).whitch helps the eggs (incubate)

  • how mcuh do you think they cost?

  • whats that cooler for and whats in it? and whats it for. [plese write somthing like : its a (blank) and it has (blank) to keep the container (blank).whitch helps the eggs (blank)]

  • wait why do you use fertilizer? can you use something else? and how old do leos have to be in order to mate?

  • Those scales cost like 30-40 dollars...not too much... u can usually get them at smoke shops where they sell bongs and pipes *not kiddin*... but i had a question about the incubation of the geckos too.... i put .8 for every 1g of perlite and it didn't seem too damp at all.... is this how its supposed to be?

  • wat do u use for the calcium for ur leo

  • also wat did u use to measure the stuff on and was it expensive

  • What do you mean? For vitamen/mineral intake? I have leopard gecko too. His name is lucky. I've had him for 4yrs so far.

  • nice ya srry for not being posific (can't spell) but ya the vitamen and minerals

  • after the egg is all cracked up dould u take it out ?

  • i hope to be a leo breeder by the end of the year im going a boy patterless gecko soon and later iwill get a female leopard gecko

  • Just to give you a heads up, female leopard geckos can be alot of work. Especialy after breeding. They are very protective of their eggs and you have to clean wounds and cut safter breeding (if there is any).

  • ooh. thanks for that. mine are breeding for the first time soon and im new to breeding but have alot of knowledgable people helping me out. they didnt say she might be protective though.

  • wat would i do if i had leopard gecko eggs nd didnt want them

wut would i do wit them cuz mi parents r pissed at me cuz mi gecko laid eggs nd i told them how many she will lay nd they got mad they said i can keep bout 4

  • throw them out? if you dont have an incubator they wont live

  • That's sad. But you have to do what you have to do. Throw them out. :(

  • @target2destroy wow your parents are both stupid, retarded , assholes and dumbasses wo cant take advantage of a money making situation.

  • why aint there any hole in the box

  • they dont need it

  • what about when the hatch

  • when they hatch they go into an enclosure

  • @LeosForLess so u dnt really need all of this complicted shit for a incubator but tell me dude did they hatch in there please tell me man cause i wanna now if this will b safe for my geckos

  • how many days at 80 degrees?

  • i just put my eggs in a container with peat moss put it under a normal night stand light. it is at 80 degrees i open the cover and mist every other day

  • hello could you tell me what i am doing wronge im a first time breeder of leopard geckos,my gecko layed 2eggs yesturday and i have got my incubator at 85degrees,but i checked on them today and they have sunken in abit what does this mean???thankyou
