I gotta say, that I'm not a tough guy, but I have seen people how they react if they are getting threatened.. and I was threatened one time, on a bus stop when a guy said that I'm gonna beat you to the ground and jump on you.. I was alone and my body started shaking I was feeling threatened... I didn't know what to do.. I needed to protect myself and all that, but I was shaking and I had alot of fear in me... now I'm thinking how people got killed by this etc. I know how fear inspires you..

That's essentially what the blacks did during the equal rights movement. They wre tired of being discriminated against and they rose up. They said they were tired of seeing their families be torn apart by violence, lynchings, etc. and they weren't going to take anymore.

You're saying now that when someone starts standing up for gay rights because they are tired of being treated in a similar fashion that you don't have to accept it?

There is no reason for hate crimes laws, nor can you always tell the intent of the killer. The key is that all crimes must be prosectuted to the fullest extent of the law. Whether or not you accept it, people are gay and they can't change it. Read up on the notes about homosexuality by the APA. It's pretty much unanimous, all the resaerch shows that being gay isn't a choice. That's not to say some people don't CHOOSE to be gay for attention and whatnot, but most don't. I'll admit homosexuality is not natural, i'm gay myself and I can in now ay defend the idea that it's what nature intended, but It's something I can't change.
