To get bots like the lizard, roach, lobster, squid, wasp, and scorpion. You have to get all S grades on excite racing regular. Then u get the other ones. And btw my name is Caleb on excite bots.

My favorite Excitebot is probably the Spider. Instead of wearing it's own color I always choose red though. I do pick the regular whenever I feel like it htough.  =P

man excite trucks is my fav racing game but i'm just so put off with excite bots. the bots just make it feel and look incredibly lame and childish. there's nothing better than being in an actual car or truck and going really fast but it doesn't feel the same when you're an insect/animal bot thing with wheels...it just takes the realism of racing away from the game regardless of how fun the game may be..

i hope they make a true excite trucks sequel

Hey, whats the deal w/ the butterflies? Even when zi get them all, I dont get 5 stars? How do you get 5 with them?

you cant really get a 5 with the butterflies each butterfly is worth 2 points so they are just points you can get.

Actually, just last night I figured out how. It is possible to get 5 stars. I found out by mistake...then took me a few more trys to replicate it!

I haven't gotten my hands on the game yet, but if it's enough like excite truck this should work. When you're stuck in the air and need to get back down fast, just tilt forward and nose dive. If you're quick, you can tilt back up for a nice landing and get back on the ground fast, and if you're not, you might crash, but at least you're back on the road faster and not constantly flying over it to the left and right.

I've yet to see anyone lose any stars through the betting system so why doesn't everyone just gamble 2500 stars...you have nothing to lose yet so much to gain....hurry up Nintendo and at least give us Europeans a release date

If you lose, you're screwed, and people usually don't upload vids of them losing.

Users or other players featured in the videos, the final score card just shows wether or not you multiplied your stars or not, by way of screwed are you saying that the number of stars are lost from your total if they are not multiplied at all, I've yet to see a video where this is demonstrated thats all, so like I was saying if you don't lose any stars why not just keep gambling 2,500?

it's actully pretty easy to lose stars and it might not come out in europe or japan

no you just have to have moderate skill. in about a half hour I make around 50k stars

You can definately lose stars. For those math majors out there...anything x0=0. So if you come last or second last, you very well may lose 2,500. If you get x1, then you break even.

I remember playing excite truck, I had gotten an S rank on everything, every medal and mode, every challenge. I just need to get every trophy then I'm done! I should really get this game though. I'm glad about how smoothly the Wi-Fi seems to run.

I'm pretty good at this game as well. I S ranked every course and my fav bots are the lady bug and the bat. I nmay buy the spider bot later on. I have a few vids of excite bots and ill message you my friend code if you want it
