hi,the standard is under 10-14 inches i would love 2 get a small one like that but everywhere i have checked people are trying 2 make them all huge...any ideas of where i could get a correct one.i want a small dog and i love miniature bull terriers

I have a mini bull terrier. They are very energetic, but never aggressive. Mini BT's are extremely loving, loyal and really act like 2 year old kids (in a dog suit). Mine follows me everywhere... always game for adventure!

hear hear TheRaGiTe i completely agree, it makes me mad the amount of people who know nothing about the breed giving them a bad name. Any dog can be 'dangerous' if it hasn't been brought up correctly, like children...if you teach them to fight they will fight.

I've brought my bully up to be a friendly, trustworthy family pet. gullable media obsessed idiots.

These dogs are very affectionate, clownish, amazingly good with children and are very very loyal. They are hunters just like EVERY OTHER terrier that exists. They very very rarely start a fight but because of their breeding they will often win, but that is not their fault. They are NOT dangerous dogs. They are not pitbulls. They were bred for bull baiting and THEN used for dog fighting and then later as companion and show dogs for gentleman. Sick of people constantly calling them pitbulls.

@TheRaGiTe Wonderful and cut video! But pit bulls aren't dangerous unless trained to be or for survival. Only pits with irresponsible/ abusive owners get mean pit bulls. Mean pitbull = bad owner. Pit bulls scored 2nd best on temperament tests (with humans... not so well with other animals, but many can) only 2nd to golden retrievers.

But its the owner that makes a dog. Bullies are awesome if the owner knows how to handle them... but they don't get as dangerous as they do obnoxious XD

@genioara It's all about the people that raise them. I personally think the most aggresive dog breed is a chihuahua. Despite the small size, they can be very protective and aggresive. Lots of people misinterpret the English Bull Terriers stubborness for aggression. They like to protect their family; however, they are very affectionate and are one of the best dogs around small children.
