only under 300 cases out of 300000 fieros ever caught fire, why they ever got rid of the fiero is beyond me...German engineering, Italian design and American made cant wait to get my fiero back
@maddogmcrae Only had a 4 speed tranny. I took a look at one as a kid, it had what appeared to be afterthought tubes running cold air to the engine that I didn't like. The final GT, with the rounder rear end looked decent for a 1980s car.
This was a great car to drive ...I really want one now. Very fast....but it was very dangerous because of the engine being in the back the car would be so back heavy and swing around.
I am gonna put to rest this bullshit about engine fires!!! They were caused by cracked engine blocks that were in turn caused by connecting rods of piss poor quality its a fact look it up!!!
This very car, I bought new from a dealer in Fairless Hills, PA, on the afternoon of August 10, 1985. It was my first car ever that had Cruise Control. That fact made an impression on me because it is the first thing that springs to-mind whenever I remember my Fiero. Over the years I recall this car as having been the most enjoyable to drive of the many vehicles I've owned. The design, especially with the addition of the sail-panels on the '86 & up GTs endures as they still seem contemporary.
Oh, this was a classic lemon. Pontiac came to late to the game with the Fiero GT in 1986. Toyota destroyed them. And as you see now, Pontaic is no longer in business. LOL
First car was an 84 2m4 w/ the 4cyl. Besides the winter driving the car was a complete blast to drive. Even though the car was 17yrs old at the time it still turned heads driving it downtown. The outside was 5/5 inside 2/5. Lol.
@sexyboi142 Sort of the mut of GM until 1988 LOL... I have had many Fiero GTs an 85,86 and 88s I love these cars. I drive a lexus GS 430 as a daily car but to tell you the truth I really do have fun in these little shits...Its the low to the ground and motor reving feeling that makes fun without the expensive maintainence. My V8s were fun too.
would any of u guys recommend this as a first car for a 17 year old im thinking about getting an 85 with 68,000 miles and need to know if it would be reliable?!
Regardless of mileage, I wouldn't buy a car this old unless you can work on it yourself. It'll still need TLC and mechanics are too expensive.
Most reliable and easiest to work on would be a 4cyl manual, and that's what I'd recommend for a teenager. V6 might cost more to insure, and can inspire reckless driving.
4cyl are slow though, manual makes it a bit better.
88 has better suspension which is more stable in hard cornering, that means less chance of wrecking it.
140 hp 170ft/lb torque! ever since i test drove it i memorized that. the 85 GT had a 4 speed manual (or 3 speed auto). its been one of my dream cars ever since i first saw it. the only american sports car with the engine in the trunk...
technically no... John Z DeLorean altho being an Ex GM employee outsorced production to scotland (or ireland... i dunno exactly but it was across the pond) because it saved him money, also he used a cheaper engine, i want to say renault or volvo. and while DeLorean is a super car its numbers are horrible due to the under powered engine and restrictive emission control standards. it was only puting out 130 hp and the body was stainless steel. dont get me wrong i love them but id replace all parts
Renault! Thats it yea.... I'd put in the Fiero's motor! But yea imagine lugging a Delorian with all the time machine parts, you wouldn't have enough road to get to 88 miles per hour!
in the movie all three DeLoreans had Porsche engines as soon as they saw how painfully slow they were stock. if i hit the lotto i would have a 1982 DeLorean with the BTTF kit.
camaros rock, everyone loves the 69 but my fave is the 82-92 body. now obviously i would have it with the biggest V8 and toughest 5 speed you could fit in it and the digital dash but you wont ever SEE one that way. you hafta convert one of the Automatics so i hafa wait till i make it big to get that... also id get a DeLorean, with its very own mechanic.
ah the 3800 series i think that was the upgraded V6 for the camaro. base was the 3.4ltr if im not mistaken. my mom had a red 95 camaro V6 5 speed with T top. when she would pick me up from school i felt like the coolest kid there! i test drove one a few months ago but whoever had it before tore the trans up, the stick was loose and it grinded going into reverse if it hadnt been for that i would have bought it, it was only 2500
Yea thats right, they dropped the 3.4L in favor of the 3800 series ll engine in 1996. The 3800 was offered as an option for the 1995 model year and was the only V6 available in California....
ha i have the gt 1 year younger than that on that the 85 i have the 86 black with sliver bottom 133 thousand miles still looks new! but bout to put the 86 buick gn motor with a procharger fuckin gona be flying in my tin can lol
If i was as least as rich as bill gates id buy pontiac and start making the fiero again... what id do:
Base: ecotec 2.4.. 5spd man or 5 auto
SE: turbo 2.0 (like what comes in the solstice) 5sp man 5 auto
SE 2M6: LF1 3.0L 265hp 223ft-lbs 6 sp man 6 auto
GT : LLT 3.6L (same is in V6 camaro) 304hp 273 ft-lbs 6sp man, 6 auto
Similar body.. more curves and give it a modern front end and interior. keep the curb weight around 3000lbs sadly i'm not a billionaire or u guys could buy a 2012 Fiero
@angelofdeth80 Maybe one day huh? I would bring back the fiero but make it wider and longer. The same size as the Ferrari 355 but it would be 100% Fiero. I would throw supercharged v6s for the base and a modern corvette based engine in the upperclass fieros...
@playhouserage too bad they don't make the supercharged 3800's anymore :( of course that would be cool and the LS9 engine would be awesome but heavy and gm would chop the fiero off again because it would kill the vette's sales... and we couldnt have that could we?
@angelofdeth80 LOL, well hurry up and become one :-), so i can put my name on the list, and buy a loaded out 2012 Pontiac Fiero. I am STILL pissed at GM for ditching Pontiac.
@iggy151 the only hummer I ever liked was the one my g/f gave me. yes Chevy has some cool cars I like out there but I think Pontiac made some of the baddest ass cars Fiero being one of them GTO & Trans AM
@odog65 safety issues.... like what? the fiero was rated second only to a volvo in crash safety...
Unless you mean airbags and better seatbelts (mine doesnt like to pull snug against me when i put it on... i have to tug it a few times to get it to snug up)
@odog65 No, Your mom probably associated the fiero with the pinto because they are both small, cheap cars. But the fiero did have one issue with fire in 84 (the first year) oil could leak from somewhere where exactly escapes me at the moment (i think the head) either way it would leak onto the exhaust manifold and catch fire. Luckly pontiac fixed the problem. It also only happened to a very small number of cars and only the 4 cyl. Seriously get a V6 fiero... you will hate having 92 horsepower
The body of a sky but keep it a rear enginge rear wheel. Just redisign the view a mix of the sky, fiero and maybe a little corvette in the mix. like you said with 3000lb weight, if you do win the lottery and become a billionaire i can be your desing team.
@KenMacMillan SBC swaps are very popular mostly because they are in some ways easier than say a 3800SC or northstar... reason being the SBC is carbureted so you don't have to deal with an ECU and much less wiring. The most wild swaps I've seen in Fieros I would say is the one known as "the perfect union" which is a Fiero with a chromed out LS7 and the other being a Mercedes Benz V12 which was A LOT of cutting and fabbing and I'm not sure if he ever finished...
@p4horror Despite the rumors the suspension wasn't designed by lotus but by GM. But the fact that it was good enough to start the rumor and have people believe it definitely says something about how this car handles.
A Modern LSX engine would be something in a Fiero thats for sure... with AFM the fuel economy could be in the mid-high 20's. If a +3500LB Camaro can pull 28MPG with a 6.0L V8 a lighter and more aerodynamic Fiero theoretically could do better and be faster at the same time
@angelofdeth80 If they can make it faster with a 3.6L then yeah, that would be cool & like you said, better fuel economy. To me, this was the best car Pontiac made ever since the 80s. To me, nothing came close. If they would've revived the Fiero with the improvements like you proposed I really believed it would've gave Pontiac new life instead of killing itself with that god awful GTO. Mechanically the GTO was good but it had terrible styling. That's my opinion for all you new GTO fans out ther
@p4horror Although it would be great to reintroduce the Fiero into today's market, it wouldn't be a success too long. The fiero is a fun 2 seater car but the mid engine two-seater car market is small-and it shrinks everytime a new two-seater car comes up for sale. I would love to see a new Fiero myself but it will be just like the solstice/Sky: it will selll great for a short while and then it won't. the Fiero was doomed from the start due to the small market it was for and its impracticality.
@SageofTalos I don't agree. It had a 5 year run which isn't all that great but good for the weak mechanics it had. If it had the improvements as well as that 3.8 supercharged engine it would do well I think & target the Corvette consumers. The Corvette is not very practical also but you & I know that it's been chugging for a long, long time.
@angelofdeth80 if i do recall, the design was similar to Lotus. GM was interested in acquireing the brand at the time and gave the fiero a Lotus STYLED suspension. it was only based or inspired by Lotus, i think.
@SageofTalos Only GM engineers know that answer. As for me, I'm willing to believe that some components might have been designed to resemble or even be borrowed from a lotus design. But as a whole it is a GM suspension. and a very good one at that.
Olds did years ago. I would go with Chevy/Pontiac and Buick/Cadillac. Pontiac would be a sub brand of Chevy with rwd sedan and coupes. I wouldn't said Pontiac would be sporter because every brand needs a little sport in them. and buick as a sub brand for cadillac would be lux fwd cars while caddy go all rwd/awd
There is a group of dealers that want to buy the pontiac and in logo, but gm turned them down in May, not they might do it. A Pontiac free from GM that would be great
It really sucks that pontiac is gone. They always put out cool cars. (Other than that stupid ass Aztec) It was the incompetent managment that killed it. But why Pontiac? Why not the GMC brand? Can you tell me any vehicle GMC made that was more than a re-badged Chevy? And Saturn was a dumb idea from the beginning.
Thats sad that there really going away. If anything kill that stupid ass saturn line. Pontiac has history and has always been know for the sportier GM side. FUCK
The Fiero was a real missed opportunity for GM. A great concept, some exciting ideas, but not fully developed when it hit the market. Shoddy interiors and materials, unrefined drivetrains, and poor reliability killed it.
It wasn't the UAW or GM's design staff that killed Pontiac (and GM for that matter), it was the short-sighted nimrods in management who ran the joint into the ground.
LOL, that car has not been made in over 20 years. I highly doubt that is the car that killed Pontiac.
GM did it and should have pulled the plug on Chevy but since it is the most known brand of the GM family it stayed. The G series cars are some of the best cars put out in years and look far better than their Chevy counterparts.
Well I mean IMAO I wanted Pontiac to survive long enough for a new Trans Am but if they were dead weight to GM than I they did right. That G6 was okay and the G8.
Fiero had marginally better handling, MR2 had marginally better acceleration. Basically if both cars were 5spd top of the line models, it came down to driver skill. MR2 had better reliability, but it cost $3K more at the time.
Take note people. Critics have said that in maybe half a decade from now the Fiero will become one of the hottest 80's cars to collect. They're quickly disappearing and still being turned into kit cars. If you want to make a good investment, pick up one of these and take care of it. These are one of the greatest cars that you can buy in terms of cost to fun ratio. I've owned three of these, and never regretted it.
I'm going to hang onto my '88 Fiero Formula for as long as I can.
Right now, I'm working on a car crash-type show for YouTube. If all works out, I'll include a model of a Fiero. It should be interesting! Go ahead, thumb me down, but I just wanna see how badly it can crash
Well, if you actually do it then it will be proof that these cars were some of the safest cars of the 1980's. These were rated 5 stars when they were crash tested (second to volvo). But IMO I wouldn't ever consider wasting one just for a YouTube video unless it wasn't able to be salvaged.
@kellkan69 Go somewhere with that shit. Some of us enjoy the Hell out of laughing at these cheesy-ass old commercials and appreciate those who preserve them.
Fire issues were only with the 84 models, and not even a full percent were reported to have fire problems. Out of 130,000+ Fieros produced in 1984, only .7-.9% reported fires.
GM didnt have much experience with designing a mid-engined car and from the factory the car had a lot of faults. Shame it got a bad reputation early on that sunk the car in the eyes of the consumer.
Gotta love this car. Way ahead of it's time and thanks to some negligent drivers, it got a bad rap from the beginning. 50/50 weight distribution, MR layout.. it was the perfect affordable sports car (it still is with around $10k!)
Not to mention for the time, a V6 that small was making a TON of power.
WHile they didn;t have alot of power (save for the V6) they were still a blast to drive. Very exotic. I can;t say that I've heard any maintenance probs from the personally, only from folks who never owned one. I STILL want one of these, make mine the last GT bodystyl and let's fit a V8 back there.
the commercial is cool, and fieros are pretty cheap to come by these days. i saw one for about $500. but cars from a similar era like the toyota mr2 are still expensive. like 1500 its not fair ya know
@ise1880 MR2;s are known for their performance and reliability. It doesn't surprise me hat an MR2 is more expensive, they were mostly great cars, always have been. I personally am glad fieros are cheaper, but if only i could find one in much better shape lol.
my dad had an 85 or 86 gt, MT that thing was a blast to ride in, except the clutch went out and he had to sell it, but they did get crap mileage, for being a lil car,
and anyway who cares about maintenance, porsches are crappy too yet everyone buys them
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Anyone that knows anything about cars knows that Fieros had appalling performance and were maintenance nightmares. And, If you bought one in red, the color would fade in a few years and it would be pink! I've actually heard homosexuals describe this car as "gay"! Pretty bad.
No, I'm not one of those people. I just know a well designed car after I do the proper research. I'm 6' 1" and over 200lbs and I drive a 1996 impala ss so maybe I'm a little bias in terms of payload space. But I had a close friend that owned one and he was in love with these things. They were a constant hassel with maintenance.
My first car was a Fiero. I'd love to have it now.

My mom had an '84 when I was little.
We lost the car when it had a fire which destroyed pretty much all of the rear end (we got out in time though)!
Now that I'm driving myself, I would absolutely love to have that thing back, even if it meant carrying extra belts along for the ride.

@angelofdeth80 Maybe one day huh? I would bring back the fiero but make it wider and longer. The same size as the Ferrari 355 but it would be 100% Fiero. I would throw supercharged v6s for the base and a modern corvette based engine in the upperclass fieros...
playhouserage 1 year ago
@playhouserage too bad they don't make the supercharged 3800's anymore :( of course that would be cool and the LS9 engine would be awesome but heavy and gm would chop the fiero off again because it would kill the vette's sales... and we couldnt have that could we?
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@playhouserage And if you're going to offer it in red, please give it better quality paint so that it won't turn pink in 5 years.
quirpco 1 year ago
@quirpco and if your going to make the seats red, use good real material so it doesnt turn purple in 3 years

@angelofdeth80 LOL, well hurry up and become one :-), so i can put my name on the list, and buy a loaded out 2012 Pontiac Fiero. I am STILL pissed at GM for ditching Pontiac.
deltaboy767 1 year ago 2
@deltaboy767 Three things GM did wrong:
HUMMER
Ditching Pontiac
Ditching Oldsmobile
And what the fuck is the point of GMC?? Just a Chevy that thinks its too good to carry the Chevy name.
iggy151 1 year ago
@iggy151 the only hummer I ever liked was the one my g/f gave me. yes Chevy has some cool cars I like out there but I think Pontiac made some of the baddest ass cars Fiero being one of them GTO & Trans AM
odog65 1 year ago
@odog65 Turbo Grand Prix was awesome too.
iggy151 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 I'd buy it but do take care of some of the safety issues that the old one had
odog65 1 year ago
@odog65 safety issues.... like what? the fiero was rated second only to a volvo in crash safety...
Unless you mean airbags and better seatbelts (mine doesnt like to pull snug against me when i put it on... i have to tug it a few times to get it to snug up)
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 I wanted to get one back in HS but my mom wouldn't let me saying it would explode like the Pinto if I got rear ended in it.
did it ever have that issue?
odog65 1 year ago
@odog65 No, Your mom probably associated the fiero with the pinto because they are both small, cheap cars. But the fiero did have one issue with fire in 84 (the first year) oil could leak from somewhere where exactly escapes me at the moment (i think the head) either way it would leak onto the exhaust manifold and catch fire. Luckly pontiac fixed the problem. It also only happened to a very small number of cars and only the 4 cyl. Seriously get a V6 fiero... you will hate having 92 horsepower
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
how about
base:the ecotec 120hp
SE: The motor form a cobalt SS 200hp
GT: The 3.6 camaro engine 275 hp
GTX: The 5.3 from the impala 325 hp
Now that would be sweeeeet.
The body of a sky but keep it a rear enginge rear wheel. Just redisign the view a mix of the sky, fiero and maybe a little corvette in the mix. like you said with 3000lb weight, if you do win the lottery and become a billionaire i can be your desing team.
haaappy7456 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 nice
afterlyfe33 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 But your engine choices would be pretty bad :)....I mean the 2.0 Intercooled LNF (260/260) would smoke the SEV6 and GT....
grometsc 1 year ago
@grometsc since when is 260HP, 260TQ better than 304HP, 273TQ? Besides not everybody wants to drive a four cylinder. At least a V6 sounds good IMO.
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 You can put a V8 in them. In fact, if I remember right there were even some people who did a big block swap.
KenMacMillan 1 year ago
@KenMacMillan SBC swaps are very popular mostly because they are in some ways easier than say a 3800SC or northstar... reason being the SBC is carbureted so you don't have to deal with an ECU and much less wiring. The most wild swaps I've seen in Fieros I would say is the one known as "the perfect union" which is a Fiero with a chromed out LS7 and the other being a Mercedes Benz V12 which was A LOT of cutting and fabbing and I'm not sure if he ever finished...
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@KenMacMillan Long story short the Fiero can have many engines if you have the time and money to make it happen...
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@KenMacMillan Pontiac had their fieros tested with v8 engines before they went into production i heard.
SageofTalos 1 year ago
@SageofTalos It's a shame they didn't produce one. That would've been a sweet option.
KenMacMillan 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 im sorry too, id pay 15k over sticker to get one like the retards did for the delorian
mikeluscher159 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 if i ever make that kind of money, in 30 years i will look u up and we will build that fiero
mikeluscher159 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 I'd buy one. A fiero with a modern body style would look awesome.
Reservoirdogs12 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 I would have a small-block V8, 6-speed manual & keep that Lotus suspension that was on the 1988 to the GT model.
p4horror 1 year ago
@p4horror Despite the rumors the suspension wasn't designed by lotus but by GM. But the fact that it was good enough to start the rumor and have people believe it definitely says something about how this car handles.
A Modern LSX engine would be something in a Fiero thats for sure... with AFM the fuel economy could be in the mid-high 20's. If a +3500LB Camaro can pull 28MPG with a 6.0L V8 a lighter and more aerodynamic Fiero theoretically could do better and be faster at the same time
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 If they can make it faster with a 3.6L then yeah, that would be cool & like you said, better fuel economy. To me, this was the best car Pontiac made ever since the 80s. To me, nothing came close. If they would've revived the Fiero with the improvements like you proposed I really believed it would've gave Pontiac new life instead of killing itself with that god awful GTO. Mechanically the GTO was good but it had terrible styling. That's my opinion for all you new GTO fans out ther
p4horror 1 year ago
@p4horror Although it would be great to reintroduce the Fiero into today's market, it wouldn't be a success too long. The fiero is a fun 2 seater car but the mid engine two-seater car market is small-and it shrinks everytime a new two-seater car comes up for sale. I would love to see a new Fiero myself but it will be just like the solstice/Sky: it will selll great for a short while and then it won't. the Fiero was doomed from the start due to the small market it was for and its impracticality.
SageofTalos 1 year ago
@SageofTalos I don't agree. It had a 5 year run which isn't all that great but good for the weak mechanics it had. If it had the improvements as well as that 3.8 supercharged engine it would do well I think & target the Corvette consumers. The Corvette is not very practical also but you & I know that it's been chugging for a long, long time.
p4horror 1 year ago
@angelofdeth80 if i do recall, the design was similar to Lotus. GM was interested in acquireing the brand at the time and gave the fiero a Lotus STYLED suspension. it was only based or inspired by Lotus, i think.
SageofTalos 1 year ago
@SageofTalos Only GM engineers know that answer. As for me, I'm willing to believe that some components might have been designed to resemble or even be borrowed from a lotus design. But as a whole it is a GM suspension. and a very good one at that.
angelofdeth80 1 year ago
Oldsmobile should have gone before Pontiac. GM...General Morons!
biggsguy 2 years ago
Olds did years ago. I would go with Chevy/Pontiac and Buick/Cadillac. Pontiac would be a sub brand of Chevy with rwd sedan and coupes. I wouldn't said Pontiac would be sporter because every brand needs a little sport in them. and buick as a sub brand for cadillac would be lux fwd cars while caddy go all rwd/awd

There is a group of dealers that want to buy the pontiac and in logo, but gm turned them down in May, not they might do it. A Pontiac free from GM that would be great
KR850 2 years ago
It really sucks that pontiac is gone. They always put out cool cars. (Other than that stupid ass Aztec) It was the incompetent managment that killed it. But why Pontiac? Why not the GMC brand? Can you tell me any vehicle GMC made that was more than a re-badged Chevy? And Saturn was a dumb idea from the beginning.

Thats sad that there really going away. If anything kill that stupid ass saturn line. Pontiac has history and has always been know for the sportier GM side. FUCK
1preludes 2 years ago 2
The Fiero was a real missed opportunity for GM. A great concept, some exciting ideas, but not fully developed when it hit the market. Shoddy interiors and materials, unrefined drivetrains, and poor reliability killed it.
It wasn't the UAW or GM's design staff that killed Pontiac (and GM for that matter), it was the short-sighted nimrods in management who ran the joint into the ground.
Sad. Very sad.

Larommi71 2 years ago
Chevy had the trucks , so that probably had a part in it. I think Cadillac should have been the one to bite the dust.
mfreeman7821 2 years ago
yes Cadillac in the 80's but it would be dumb for GM to cut that now with the CTS gaining ground
KR850 2 years ago
Well I mean IMAO I wanted Pontiac to survive long enough for a new Trans Am but if they were dead weight to GM than I they did right. That G6 was okay and the G8.

I just bought a gold 87 GT! I've been wanting one of these cars ever since I first learned about them.
SuperTexasRed 2 years ago
the authority of a V6?? how about the superiority of the MR2? but to be fair we're talking 25 years ago now, funny ad though
kloppyklopper 2 years ago
Fiero had marginally better handling, MR2 had marginally better acceleration. Basically if both cars were 5spd top of the line models, it came down to driver skill. MR2 had better reliability, but it cost $3K more at the time.
jmorris023 2 years ago

ItsCoreyEvan 2 years ago
Well, if you actually do it then it will be proof that these cars were some of the safest cars of the 1980's. These were rated 5 stars when they were crash tested (second to volvo). But IMO I wouldn't ever consider wasting one just for a YouTube video unless it wasn't able to be salvaged.

permiable 2 years ago
HIGHLY unlikely.
Fire issues were only with the 84 models, and not even a full percent were reported to have fire problems. Out of 130,000+ Fieros produced in 1984, only .7-.9% reported fires.

now that you mentioned it, I can't even remember the last time I seen an actual sports car commercial.
kellkan69 2 years ago
GM didnt have much experience with designing a mid-engined car and from the factory the car had a lot of faults. Shame it got a bad reputation early on that sunk the car in the eyes of the consumer.
duncan36 3 years ago
but it was constructed like the ferrari 308 , the just weren't allowed to make it faster..
manoman0 3 years ago
Gotta love this car. Way ahead of it's time and thanks to some negligent drivers, it got a bad rap from the beginning. 50/50 weight distribution, MR layout.. it was the perfect affordable sports car (it still is with around $10k!)
Not to mention for the time, a V6 that small was making a TON of power.
AcryllicWonder 3 years ago
WHile they didn;t have alot of power (save for the V6) they were still a blast to drive. Very exotic. I can;t say that I've heard any maintenance probs from the personally, only from folks who never owned one. I STILL want one of these, make mine the last GT bodystyl and let's fit a V8 back there.
kingdomboost 3 years ago
the commercial is cool, and fieros are pretty cheap to come by these days. i saw one for about $500. but cars from a similar era like the toyota mr2 are still expensive. like 1500 its not fair ya know
ise1880 3 years ago
@ise1880 MR2;s are known for their performance and reliability. It doesn't surprise me hat an MR2 is more expensive, they were mostly great cars, always have been. I personally am glad fieros are cheaper, but if only i could find one in much better shape lol.

Anyone that knows anything about cars knows that Fieros had appalling performance and were maintenance nightmares. And, If you bought one in red, the color would fade in a few years and it would be pink! I've actually heard homosexuals describe this car as "gay"! Pretty bad.

Tell me have u ever owned one or driven one? or are u just one of those people who hates them just because?
DrKorn5 3 years ago 2
No, I'm not one of those people. I just know a well designed car after I do the proper research. I'm 6' 1" and over 200lbs and I drive a 1996 impala ss so maybe I'm a little bias in terms of payload space. But I had a close friend that owned one and he was in love with these things. They were a constant hassel with maintenance.
