I say burn the fed. The federal reserve decided to create the 80 billion dollars making our dollars worth less. Also the federal reserve not the government has a lien against 80% of AIG. the FED is OWNED by private shareholders. They just stole from every american at th same time. The only people that benifit are the private sharholders of the fed who just bought a company for way less then it is worth. These people are criminals
Actually it's the treasury that asks the FED to allow a loan to the corporations. And today they just made the loan of 700 billion to cover the costs. So, Ron Paul is right as usual; the total is higher than the estimated 500 billion. But yes I agree the FED does nothing good but instead gives false hope to the public and asserts the governments power. BUBBLE!
Beautiful. I love hearing sound monetary policy! It releases endorphins. Ahhhhh. But we must help this man accomplish his goals! He has a new website. Go look!
those numbers are way to low. Fred and Fannie liabilities alone are over $5 trillion. No one knows how much this will cost, and I guarantee you the people spitting out these numbers are benefiting from the bailouts.

Nice to hear Ron Paul taking some details. Obama and McCain just speak abstract stuff and no details.
