I bumped into Casey Driessen while searching the acts at the upcoming Merlefest 2011 gathering. He's a truly unique musician that's adds great flare and a fresh new perspective to fiddle playing. He's a welcome bridge between pop and ole time fiddling culture that makes the instrument much more approachable to those not so familiar with it. I'm so grateful for finding his phenomenal talent.

Excellent! I don't know how I missed these guys' session... that's it -- next year I'm camping out at the Masters Tent! And I know what you mean about the shadows at that tent. I took some video there too and all I got was silhouettes.
