  • is there any way to get rid of the drums in a song that i want to sample?

  • I SUGGEST EVERYONE CHECK OUT: " sf logic ninja" amazing logic tutor. this guy blows ----->

  • WOOPSSSS YE YE

  • Holly Fuck .. That guy is everywhere...at all tutorials...darn!

  • expert village is everywhere. It's like a virus. Totally useless videos. Look forward to the net looking much like this in the near future.

  • Cheers for that

  • but can you actually play a record on a turntable and sample it into logic. seems like you can only take an audio file that has already been "sampled" into the computer and import it into logic, then it can be edited. from what i can tell, ableton live is the only decent program that can do the sampling, editing, assigning and sequencing like an MPC would do. am i correct?

  • Use something like Audacity to record it first then import the audio file into the bin.

  • uh, you can record audio directly into logic too. basic feature of the program.

  • no you must have a audio interface to direct record into logic than anything from an outside source can be recorded .logic is a beast its the best program on the market for production and protools is good for mixing

  • actually u dont need an interface to record with logic u need an interface with protools tho...

  • This helped me a bunch, thanks!!

  • it sounds like hes english speaking... just fucking stoned or something.

  • you can, of course, see that our man doesn't give a crap, right? he's just up there doing all these very informative videos (in a studio that is most definitely a lot nicer than yours). only small minded, weak people with no self-estheem feel the need for such insulting behavior...

  • you should spend more time making music.

  • ok: those of you who really care this dude cant say 'loops' the way you do... REPEAT AFTER ME! Nee HaOW. Woh teh ming tsuh Rude Bastard. NO! itts HaOW, you a stupid person. you're a complete idiot because you can't say that! the majority of the planet speak chinese or hindi. you don't deserve to call yourself an earthling.

  • yea except he's obviously an american. americans should be able to say a simple word such as "loop" correctly.

  • nothing in these videos identifies him as 'obviously an american'. english is his second (third? what do you know?) language. he's not american born. YOU are obviously american as you assume everyone should be just like your ignorant ass. i'm pretty sure YOU can't pronounce at least one of the following correctly: barbiturate, liable, voluptuous, zoology or ask. and you're 'proud to be an english speaking american.' the rest of the planet might not laugh the US so much if you stop the ignorance

  • You're right, the New York Yankees hat and "Enyce" sweatshirt (aka NYC) he's wearing are CLEARLY not hints that he's ameriacan. True someone else could be wearing them not from the USA, but i think thats a pretty big clue.

  • actually it does have identifiable traits eluding me to the conclusion that he is american- "ima show you" and "nah" (as in "now") are a very clear cultural idiomatic expressions that stem from the united states, particularly the more ghetto-speaking/hip-hop/gangster subculture such as the one this guy clearly represents based upon his clothing.

sounds as if you have some built up anger inside yourself...

  • your engrish is wood!

  • make sure u find the perfect woop, its pwetty easy to do in wogic.

  • you explain it just fine - your a star - thanks!!! :-))

  • I'm new to Logic pro 8 and I find this guy really cool with this softwre but the only thing is that he explains like he's rappin'. Would be great if this guys tries to speak clearly and show where to find those plug ins.But he's was really good.

  • very nice!

    cool

    good

    palden rule atrunescap

  • the camera guy is pretty good

  • lol

  • yeap!

  • yeap!

  • IVe watched this video 12 times and I still cant figure out how to "whoop" the audio track, is there a button you have to press, does the button say WHOOP? Well Im gonna go back to loopin this sample I just chopped in the mpc, let me know

  • HAHAHAHA

  • this guy annoys the hell out of me!

  • you are not very good at explaining things

  • i agree 100%

  • @skilot ...then why don't you post a tutorial???

  • where it WHOOPS LMAOOOO

  • This isn't really sampling audio... If you sample audio it means you use the audio as if it had midi capabilities. usually the original sound is set to C4 on a standard piano and can be played at different pitch levels.

  • TELL EM!!!!

  • Dude, just so you know, it sounded like you started out with your street dialect, then gradually softened into the necessary computer geek (which is absolutely necessary anyway).

Anyway, thanks for the vid, man. Keep it up
