Wow, this is my dream aircraft. Great video, almost like professional acting. I wish I could solo one, I absolutely love this airframe. Congrats! Do you have a PPL or any license?
@FenderStrat5150 It was not an act just the way it happened. Yep, got my license and tail wheel indorsement with about 170 hrs now. I have about 100 hrs in that Cherokee and it's great to fly.
@m3fordcord I just meant with the quality and the way it played out like a well written story it seemed like professional acting. Not that I was suspicious of the reality of the situation. I wish I could fly one, they seem like great birds. I really don't care about Garmin or whatever, it's all about the vintage feel of the steam gauges, the smell of the leather and the metal that gives you chills as you enter the cockpit of an aircraft.Ooh, how I long for that one moment in life. Lucky you!
boy does this ever remind me of my first solo

I wish. This is my buddy Joe's but he lets me fly it all the time. What a deal, right! I guess I'm just lucky.

I video all my flights. Are you planning to do the same? I have tried different recorders but the one in my video works great for me.
m3fordcord 3 years ago
You dont get much feedback from the mic being in the headset?
737NGFO 3 years ago
None at all. It worked perfect the first time I tried it. I have two of these setups now and they both work great.

I've been to 5G7 but not 7D5. Thats only 16nm away.
m3fordcord 3 years ago
do you like cessna or pipers better?
IRproductionstudios 3 years ago
The Cessna is the easiest and the Cub is the hardest. The Cherokee is a bit more high performance, so I guess Id go for the Cherokee.
