Someone needs to discover a photo of LaHood or a family member driving while texting or talking on a cellphone. Shut him the he** up! If liberals had their way there would be no cars at all, except for official (i.e government) use. The rest of use would be using trains or buses with massive security shakedowns each time you need to buy groceries. Of course if you don’t like the security you would have the option of using your bicycle, as long as you use your safety helmet.

Hey Ray Lahood, you can pay my bill for the time I can't use my cell phone and if I EVER need it in an emergency I will personally sue you for damages. I will not buy a new car, you will never put anything in my existing car and if by some chance you foist this on us the majority of us will rip said scrambler out of our cars. I actually agree with this. When people get on the road they have NO RIGHT to put me in danger. If someone wants to kill themselves good get on a bridge and do it. But in a car put your freaking cell phone down and don't use the speakerless either because that is just as bad as holding the cellphone.

LOL Im not a nanny stater actually. You fail to see the difference between nanny stater and stopping something that will eventually hurt a lot of OTHER people. For example Im ok with steroids being legal cause it doesn't hurt other people. I do not want mind altering drugs legalized or alcohol or cell phone talking because it will hurt people on the road.
