Someone that worked on the first two Terminator movies should buy the copyright for The Terminator. Just seems like continuously handing Terminator over to fucking noobs is only going to bury it even further. Someone that might actually give a shit about what happens to it next, that was heavily involved with the first two, should buy the copyright. Giving it away to someone who just wants the money they think it will generate will only make it completely unsalvageable.

Also, if there's ANY hope for it anymore, WHOEVER might aquire the rights to it REALLY needs to make sure that the next two are fated fucking R like the original two were. All this pussyfoot, PG-13 horseshit is partly what's killing it to begin with. It takes away the grittyness that made the originals great and dumbs it down to an almost fucking wussy feeling POS. The first two, GREAT. AND rated R. The llast two were mediocre and, if I'm not mistaken, were also BOTH PG-13. Fucking hollywood.

Whats your bitching about the ratings, ratings don't make movies good, but story and scrpit do. Do you know anything about movies? Terminator Salvation was alright, but the story needed more. Hey dipshit. You're aware that trying to make shit kid friendly DOES effect the presentation, right? And if it feels half assed and insincere compared to it's predecessors, then it will do poorly in theatres. Sure, script and story are what makes a movie good, but if the script and story suffer then the movie makes no money. No money equals bankruptcy. Do you know anything about anything besides making piss poor attempts at making other people look stupid?

Salvation was mediocre because too many things made it seem unfamiliar to fans of the first two movies. As was the case with T3. The best thing that both had going was special effects. The story was softer. Dumbed down, even. The visuals, events, script and most importantly, the FEEL of the movie, ALL were negatively effected by the people in charge trying to turn it into something it wasn't meant to be. It wasn't meant to be kid friendly or PG-13, but they made it that anyway.

No I kind of agree with him, the ratings don't got nothing to do with the movies. I didn't understand you, did you said that if the story and script fails the movie will fail unless if  is rated r will win money?

Has anyone ever been far as to want do look more like? I honestly don't see how anyone is misinterpreting what I'm saying unless they skim my comment once and type before they think. What I'm saying is this (and I hope everyone pays attention this time): The ORIGINAL movies with the same director, actors, etc. were both rated R and had an extremely gritty and real feel to them. The last two have had a change in cast AND had the movies dumbed down for a younger audience that it was never for.

Ok, I get you know. But the last were dumbed down because they had terrible directors and writers who did them. They probably didn't even knew what they were doing when they were doing them. And TI and T2 were made well, but still ratings don't matter. T3 was Rated R and it sucked.

I just checked my copy of T3 and you're right, it was rated R. But T4 was PG-13 and as far as it goes, they fucked up in a lot of ways with it. The title was ass, they keep changing the actors that play the characters (regardless of how good or bad they act, changing actors more than once in the middle of a movie franchise is just a bad idea) and from what I've heard, it didn't sit well with most fans of the other movies. And now bankruptcy? All I mean is that I'm worried about the franchise.

Either they should leave it alone and delete T4 and T3 pretend they never happened, or just sale it to Parmount studios and let Chris Nolan or bring back James Cameron to do the next movies. Or someone who worked in T1 and T2 should do the next films, i'm hoping of not Michael Bay to do them and I just hope fox doesn't buy the franchise neither. I'm worried too.

I would love to see James Cameron come back and direct the last two. I think that not only would that help salvage it, but it could go out memorably and with a bang, instead of just good enough.
