If you are Bengali then likely as not you will know the names I am about to mention and might even see where I am coming from! ! If it wasn't for Tarunda and Rituporna Sen Gupta's Alo I wonder if I would have become such an Tagore listener. I love this song ,was one of my mother's favourite. It seems this wonderful man never composed anything average.. all his songs are simply brilliant. Pity I can neither speak nor write Bengali.
