  • I'm a big fan of both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. So far I like Stargate Universe (I just started watching the series) but I wish it had more details on the Ancients and their civilization like the other two series. I do enjoy it though.

  • I need an extended version of this!

  • who would ever dislike this tv show !! omg let's hunt them guys !! give them to the droids !!

  • how can anyone dislike this? The people who disliked this are true stargate HATERS.

  • Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Universe were the greatest shows ever. BSG and Buffy close second.

  • I always stay and listen to this when the show has finnished! :)

  • SGA and SG-1 are my favourites! I understand that SGU is more realistic and deeper, but I've seen and felt that it has lost some stargate feeling and it's more into like tv soap in sci fi!

  • @Gustava10 seems you havent watched season 2. it was one of the best seasons in the whole SG franchise, with the explorations in SG1, the exciting action and battles of SGA, and the dark, realistic theme of SGU combined perfectly.

  • Season 3 For SGU was canceled. Help change this by joining the SaveSGU fan page on Facebook! Please, there is still a chance this amazing show will live on...

  • @Falloutglitch Actually, no matter how many fans stand up against the decision, nothing will happen.

  • @OneShotOneBill not necessarily true, it worked for Star Trek Enterprise. That show would have only survived for 2 seasons but after a writing campaign by fans a third and even a fourth season was mad. Wiki it.

  • SG-1, SG-1, SG-1, SG-1! Universe had no action and Atlantis missed the deep stuff. That´s why SG-1 succeeded, because it blended everything in so well, both action and psychological drama, and history, and horror (like the "tinman" episode). They should have kept Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner, so they could have made more awesome shows, the other writers were not even near as good. For gods sake, bring it back, I don´t care if you they make a series of SG-1´s alternate reality, just do it!

  • @Magnoliaprod Universe had no action?!?!?!?!?! Where was your head?

  • @pardusian141 Well it wasn´t Atlantis exactly...

  • @Magnoliaprod Thankfully.

  • I think the real problem with SGU is that it came out on the heels of BSG, which is quintessentially the paragon for the "lost in space but trying to get home but have limited resources" genre. Had SGU come out before BSG, or maybe in a few years, I think it would have found an audience and been a long running show.

  • Season 3 For SGU was canceled. Help change this by joining the SaveSGU fan page on Facebook! Please, there is still a chance this amazing show will live on...

  • @Falloutglitch sorry, but facebook fan clubs aren't going to change anything that happens in the film industry.

  • Stargate universe was a hit-miss show, there were some really good episodes and arcs, but these got mixed in with some terrible episodes, awkward pacing and irrelivant stories and shit. It was in a sense like BSG, but it didnt have much action at all when compared to BSG. Look at what made atlantis good: shitloads of action in space and on foot. SG1 wasnt so ship based but more action based on foot. SGU just tried to be to real and forgot to get the alure people needed.

  • Its awesome and it sucks the people stopped watching it because it was too realistic.

  • See, if this show hadn't been cancelled, there would have been hope for SGA season 6 (the movie was being written to be more like episodes 1/2 of season 6. Read Mallozzi's blog if you don't believe me).

  • Would it have killed them to have given the show an opening intro. sequence? Imagine if this began each episode with with each actor being ghostly credited upon the "Destiny" flying past a star? That might have helped draw people in as they stumble across the show.

  • @Frost3784 Intro credits ruin shows for me.

Always makes it super-cheesy as they turn around printing their name below.

    Cheese.

I'm glad they didn't do that.

  • @tjbayliss That's how it's been done for 60 years. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

  • @Frost3784 If people always copied the norm, there would be no originality.

The good thing about SGU was that it wasn't just your average cheesy Sci-Fi.

At least a humanoid alien didn't walk by every 4.2 seconds speaking English like in Star Trek, etc

    /

It just felt dark, original, and not having cheesy credits at the start helped that.

Imagine it with cheesy intro credits, showing all of the cast - it would be like a sitcom, not as serious as it was.

  • @tjbayliss I did not suggest that people should always copy the norm. We're talking about whether a TV series should have an opening theme. I prefer the one-minute theme song as the actors are credited. It gets me in the mood for the episode I'm about to watch. Just throwing up the title and on with the show... it lacks creativity. An opening theme need not be cheesey. Throw up this video's music, show the Destiny fly around space, and credit the actors names without showing them. Simple!

  • @Frost3784 How much creativity could be involved with an opening title sequence?

  • @tjbayliss Ye but like robert c cooper said they wanted to change the format and i have to say there were some SGU episodes which were better than atlantis and sg1 .

  • @Zebra60221 Pretty much all of them were better than Atlantis and SG1 :p

  • If there is a petition to stop the show from being canceled, please send my youtube a message/email/scream/yell/point.

Do whatever you can to let me know. Thanks. (:

  • At least there IS a theme in SGU, and what a theme it is.

  • Epic theme song lol, jsut gotta say

  • what an awesome piece of music.

    SGU will survive.

  • SGU returns March 8th...(I think)

  • @pardusian141

    It's the 7th of March

  • @Daedaius123123 ack! some sources said 8th and other sources said 7th grr....I am impatient!!!! TWO BLODDY HOURS TO GO! GRRR!

  • fuck u MGM, fuck u humans, wich not pay for viewing series like sgu!!!

  • I'm going to SGU after season 2 returns and finishes later this year. Shame it's been cancelled. F*ck you Syfy Channel!

  • stargate universe is all of stargate that we have left, we should be thankful cause atlantis and sg1 got cancelled.

  • @luked1021 which were some of the dumbest things ever done if you ask me

  • Thumbs up if you hate waiting a week to see the next episode

(I never do these "thumbs up if" crap, but I just want to know I'm not the only one lol

  • Wouldn't be easyer to fire up Atlantis to go pick the crew up? Atlantis has all kinds of drives so it should be quite easy for it to rendez-vouz with the Destiny... A couple of jumpers could dock with Destiny trough the shuttle bay (the rear looks quite similar so... ) and take everyone. The only issue would be the ZPMs

  • @MrDexterFillmore Yes, IF they had any idea where the ship was. They can't plot a course without knowing where they're going first, and since Destiny moves around all the time, it would be almost impossible to get a lock on its position from such a long distance away. Besides, as you said, Atlantis doesn't have NEARLY enough ZPMs for such a long-distance journey.

  • @RealDougal I know, but Destiny knows where it is in the universe, it's a matter of using the stones to guide atlantis. They would need to play catch though... Like the apollo when atlantis 'got lost'. Besides, atlantis has the wormhole drive that can cross galaxies almost instantaneously. Power is the only issue here...

  • @MrDexterFillmore yeah, if atlantis finds Destiny, they can help the Ursini get home, letting them get the seed ship, and us it's power to charge atlantis, and they could even get 2 ancient ships out of it, which can survive going through a sun, talk about strong ass shield, but there are some factors we don't consider, and the Lucian alliance attack on Earth makes atlantis the only reasonable line of defense and we don't know if they can 'tag along' with the wormhole drive and power issues obv.

  • @RealDougal well hey had enough to go all the way to the milky-way from pegasus on just 1 1/2 ZPM's, while with a full one it took the Daedalus 4 days, that's pretty impressive, they could probably get through at least 3 galaxies bofore burning out 1 ZPM, and whose to say they don't have more already (and yes, i am aware that destiny had traveled through at least 8 galaxies, or something like that, but i still agree with you, i'm just shedding more light on the topic

  • @MrDexterFillmore Yeah, but they would need space suits...

  • ya all the creaters of these shows ran out of 70s and 80s plots to rip off so they turned to the last thing anyone would ever expect them to touch: The 1970s Japanese Animation Space Operas! This music sounds so much like Vangilis though I can never get through a SGU episode because I end up busting out my Blade Runner DVD and watch it instead haha.

  • @browningcq Then why the fuck are you even commenting on SGU videos? You'd think you'd be commenting on Blade Runner videos instead...

  • Personally, I think none should compare different stargate series to others.

SG-1 was about discovery, explorations, and fighting the bigest threat to Earth, the Goa'uld. as we explored more, we found traces of our ancestors, the Alterans (a.k.a. Ancients)

then Atlantis was about their history, and their technology which has now became ours

now Universe is about personal relationships, mystreies, but mostly about: Survival.

each Stargate title has it's own soul, yet they are all Stargate

  • Hey is the first season out on dvd yet?

  • I can't wait till September 28!!

  • This sounds like a mish mash of Stargate, BSG, and Babylon 6 themes

  • i think that stargate sg-1 have more best end title

  • i wish they started this instead of 2 more seasons of sg1 i liked all of atlantis

  • @sideaccounts

Yeah, without jack o'neill, the sow is as good as dead...

  • @quizzisation It has Jack O'Neill occasionally, but it doesn't need him. SGA didn't, so SGU sure as hell doesn't. It stands on its own.

  • Joel Goldsmith got the right idea. Different tunes for a different show. I like all the Stargate series

  • Has anyone else wondered why, if they have alien technology at their disposal, why do the tau'ri continue using bullets?

  • @mabiniss2

Because they are more effective then for instance goa'uld staff weapons. That was explained in a episode of SG-1. And since most of the Ori/Wraith weapons resemble them they barely use them.

  • @mabiniss2 the bullets are faster rate of fire, and have better if not eaqual accuracy, and bullets can do more hamr or less harm when you want them too, you just have to be accurate enough, but i see where you're going, there is also the matter of aquiring that many staff/wraith/ori weapons, or producing them in some insane way

  • My personal favorite of the Stargate series is SG1, that's because of the first episode(s) "Children of the Gods". I was totally hypnotized when I watched those episodes and got caught in to it right away.

But this is a good show. And compared to the other Stargate series, this one is darker, more realistic show. I feel like it is a good reflection to how someone would become if they were trapped in a spaceship.

  • See it like you, its more reale not the colorfull world of Stargate Atlantis. Its more like BSG . Since i look SGU I always lough if I look SGA but its still good ;)

  • But yes, I wish they'd stop putting those fucking gay teeny-bopper rock songs into the episodes near the end

And would they PLEASE kill off Chloe... she's the most fucking annoying character

It's like taking along a 10 year old girl on a spaceship

    DIE

  • It's way better than all of the other Stargate shows...

Atlantis was just insulting. Probably the most badly acted and cheesy show ever.

SG-1 was OK... but very 80's, sort of like TNG is for Star Trek, again, cheesy.

Robert Carlisle will make SGU awesome :)

  • What kind of instrument is being played in this theme? The deeper tone, what is it? Synth? Also what style of music is this? Orchestral/Symphonic?

  • Sounds like a mix of wind instruments and some synth parts.

Would've been recorded by an orchestra.

  • basicly it goes like this,in sg-1 o'niel is the funny 1 and in atlantis it is mckay, the only reason that universe dony have a funny person is that it is the searious one out of the 3, you wouldnt think its funny being on a ship over 100 billion light yeas from home, that has a mind of its own and is in bad condition, well maybe i would, but would you

  • SG-1 lives from Goauld, "McGuyver" and the constellation of SG1. SGA has awesome action elements and is a lot funnier in my opinion (Rodney is just awesome) and has a nice story but its nothing like the "thriller" SGU which has the potential to put both previous serieses in their places. so far, i like it! i really do! keep up the drama, dont get too fantastic about the enemies and dont make it a neverending story like Voyager (the parallels ARE funny though) and SGU is the best of all SG.

  • You see, this is great. Why can't the stupid producers let Joel go hog wild instead of commissioning those terrible acoustic indie songs or whatever the fuck genre you want to call that bullshit. ANGRY!

  • There are moments when the SGU theme reminds me of composer Christopher Franke's works in Babylon 5.... more precisely at 0:33-1:01.

  • sounds like blade runner

  • FINALLY!!! thank you so much for uploading this !

10 thumbs (yes, i got ten thumbs >_>) up for SGU

  • there is a song played at the end of the newest episode anyone know artist and name of song

  • SGU is a good series, but it sputters sometimes.. for a series that's supposed to be "intelligent" and serious compared to it's predecessors there are sometimes events that seem over-stated or unlikely. Just watch the most recent episode Space for a few examples of that, not to mention they ruined what looked like a fantastic story arch with abandoning Rush on the one planet in the episode before. but apparently keeping Rush with the crew of the Destiny is more important to the writers.

  • Much better than Caprica. SGU rocks. Just saw it at lastnightstvshows (.) com

  • SG.U is one of my favorite shows. Great job Stargate!

  • @dorfpomeranze

I know but they could always do time travel also.

  • hmm not realy, but what I would like to see is "star destroyer vs wraith hive ship" :P

  • Nice. :D

  • Please go hold your breath for 30 minutes....

  • you mean o'neill showing up on the enterprise? well trek plays several 100 years in the future

  • Listen to my Cover of that awesome tune, greats from germany ;-)

  • The entire theme is great, but I especially love the bit from :51 to the end, those five notes. I don't know, I find them sort've beautiful, the sound of them (not sure what manner of instrument was used).

Man, I really hope the ratings pick up when SGU returns in April. I don't want to think of this amazing series being cancelled only after its first or second season...

April 2, everyone! Tune in at 9pm on Friday, April 2 on Syfy (as if you didn't know, haha). Don't let SGU get the axe...

  • I look at SGU like I look at Star Trek Enterprise. It would be sad if it gets the axe, even if it is an insult to Stargate.

  • dagorlad3: I've never seen ST:E, so I can't comment on that. But I've heard things.

I don't see SGU as being an insult to Stargate, I just think it's EXTREMELY different from anything that's been done before with the franchise. I suppose the very fact that it is so different is what people find most insulting. Well, among other things, haha.

A lot of fans are really RAGING over this series right now. And I can understand why.

SG1 and SGA were amazing. But I think SGU deserves a chance.

  • 0:42 to the end of the theme sounds uncanningly like Babylon 5

  • heyarnoldsknee:

    Oh, hey, Arnold!

Fancy seeing you here. Tell me, does my mother's you-know-what still look more like Boris Karloff than Matt Smith? Lol.

Anyway, as for the Babylon 5 similarity, yeah, I think I hear what you mean. I'll have to give them a few listens. Though everything starts to sound the same when you're sleep-deprived...*yawn*

  • It's actually a lot like the earlier 'Terminator' movie soundtracks i.e. 1 and 2. Especially the ending of this piece. Anywhoooo, it's good, I like it

  • Holy crap!! Where is this from? Was it ever aired with an episode?

    Phenomenal!

  • SyFy Channel (was SciFi). Several episodes have alreayd aired last year and starts again in April. If you are in the US, or use a proxy you can see some episodes., or find a site that shows where episodesare hosted. Try good for "free tv"

  • am i the only one who thinks this sound a lot like Doctor Who?

  • kind of.

    Did u like torchwood?

  • Sounds more like along the lines of the work Vangelis did on Blade Runner.

  • i really like universe; its is definetely one of my favourite shows. but i hope they'll continue atlantis after the movie.

  • Shame David Tennant is leaving

  • unevenlight: Wow, five thumbs down for voicing an opinion. Youtube makes it so easy to quickly and *anonymously* insult someone. It's cowardly.

If I'm being honest, I agree with you. I love Stargate SG-1 and Universe, along with Star Trek TOS and TNG, The X-Files, Torchwood, Andromeda, Flash Gordon, and a myriad of other sci-fi series, but Doctor Who will always be my favourite. There's just so much...history behind it, you know? It's so vast...there's not enough space on here to explain.

  • dont get me wrong I love almost all sci-fi especially episode 200 of sg-1 in the ending credits the silver guy (teal'c) says Science Fiction is an extentionsal metaphore that allows us to tell stories about the human condition. Isaac Asimov once said Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today - but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

  • Quite honestly the characters in SGU are mostly completley unlikable. Chloe especially makes me want to hurl, and her two deaths in "Time" (Even though they were undone by the magic reset button of course) satisfied me extremely.

Darker and edgier does not mean better. To me, this is like Battlestar Galactica (OH SO ANGSTY) meets Smallville (ANGSTY TEENAGERS) with some Stargate SG-1/Atlantis lingo thrown in to give them a title.

SGU is inferior, but I'll give it a chance to imrpove with time.

  • @HellbirdIV

So dont you like Battlestar Galatica either?

  • I kind of like Battlestar Galactica, but I do consider it inferior to other shows like Deep Space Nine and Stargate SG-1.

It's not a bad show, but it has some really stupid themes (especially towards the end) and some awful characters (Like Starbuck) but at the same time a lot of great things like the battles and the interactions between the -good- characters (Like Saul Tigh, both the Adamas etc).

It's not all about being dark and gritty, that's what I think SGU is doing wrong.

  • @HellbirdIV

Well if you dont like BSG that explains why you dont like SGU.

Dark and gritty is good, thats why people gush over BSG and LOST and why they won so many awards.

Starbuck was a great character as the series went on. The Themes were great, just really silly plot holes.

  • What awards? For some reason SciFi shows are always passed over for awards unless given by a specific Sci-Fi group such as the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.

  • @GeekBoy03

According to wiki BSG has won lots of awards, search for "List of awards and nominations received by Battlestar Galactica". Seems to even have Emmy wins as well such as "Emmy Awards, Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series ("Exodus, Part 2")" . Same deal with lost.

My point was that it is a widely recognised and respected sci-fi series

  • I admit, the only good points on the show were the ones you just mentionned. Edward olmos is my favourite actor on the entire series and the sole reason i watched the first two easons and bought the mini-series.

I also like the theme of mankind slowly declining untill they find Earth.

  • I love this theme, it sort of gives a fatalistic military theme, like the pure hopelessness the crew of the destiny faces, but still they march on.

  • yes thats nice song, but I hoped in great intro....

  • I wish sgu had epic opening, like sg1 or Atlantis. Even still this music sounds Lonely and mysterious, which suits being trapped on the destiny.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • well, yes, but I dont like it. I mean, it is awesome song, but totally non-SG-ish. SGA theme song was similar to SG1 theme... so I hope that Gravity song isnt really SGU theme, just trailer song

  • @flidrl

lol the music they put in trailers have nothing to do with the film.

  • Love the Soundtrack of SGU!

  • does anyone know if this song has a title

  • Amazing theme...

  • thanks for this vid

too bad SGU doesn't seem to have any kind of credits with epic music at the beginning

  • THANK YOU for uploading this! I love this theme, SGU is going to be an awesome series!

  • You know, when i first started watching SGU, my first impressions were thats its slow in starting, and rather depressing....but once you actually get into it, i'm starting to prefer it to the previous Stargate shows *awaits an impending flame war* how can i put it... its Sci-Fi for 'grown ups' (its the only way i can word it) no need for massive space battles, unstoppable enemies, or geeky characters that look like they just fell off the USS Voyager (Rodney anyone?) a great show. Two thumbs up!

  • I agree 100%. Don't get me wrong, SG-1 and Atlantis were both fantastic series that I thoroughly enjoyed. It just seems like the darker edge of SGU combined with such real, believable characters is an instant appeal.

  • Agreed, i dare to compare this to Battlestar Galactica actually, but has it's own uniue cast of characters, each with their own flaws and strengths.

I was very suprised when i saw the episodes because alst time i checked they wanted to make it more pg rated and in fact is even darker then atlantis.

  • @ItsBurnett1984

I just hope it puts in some good story archs like BSG did, always kept things moving and different. Always pushing it making it better.

I think the haters just want the global reset button back from Atlantis and SG1

  • @ItsBurnett1984 I disagree with you that this show is better (or that Rodney is a hinderance in any way), but I do agree that it is a lot more adult viewing than the previous two. I like both formats pretty much equally for different reasons, and yes SGU has started slowly but it's developing into some interesting viewing indeed!

  • @ItsBurnett1984 i completely agree.. i really like this show.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 i wouldnt say rodney is from voyager ^^ still he was the best funny element in all of the SG shows. Tao of Rodney and The Game were the best SGA fun episodes. a SHAME they cut the series without its appropiate final season.

  • @BlauerGeist I think they're going to make a direct to DVD film to end SGA (something similar to what they've already done with SG-1).

  • Comment removed

  • @ItsBurnett1984

But Rodney is like, ten times the awesome of any of the SGU characters.

If nothing else the characters could be a lot better on SGU.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 While you do have a point there, geeky characters? You mean that computer nerd, hot blonde etc. are not geeky or generic? Also, if you're looking for something fro grown-ups, check out BSG. At least it has a character development. :)

  • @ItsBurnett1984 I agree with you on the fact that it's a lot more grown-up than the previous Stargate series, but I only see this as a fine addition to the franchise because it doesn't have the memorable themes and storylines from SG1 and Atlantis.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 i liked it from when it started, great show, great music, great set design.

some characters need a acting shakeup, but i think rush's character is awesome.

i want the soundtrack to be released soon tho, one hell of a awesome soundtrack

  • @ItsBurnett1984 Except that it brings in the childish drama of the characters. The characters feel less like soldiers, than children with guns (Scott, for example?). Yeah, I know, they're only human, but they're also much less likely candidates for their positions than the previous personnel used in the shows. Ex-Special Forces colonel, leading an offworld team... in a secret project? Makes sense. Major who has an accident (while on a punishment detail!),

  • @KarlfMjolnir and gets involved with the program, and therefore they gotta find some sorta use for him? Yeah, makes sense.

Random lieutenant who likely would've been kicked out of the military for breaking 50 regulations in the first season? Enh... not so much.

  • @KarlfMjolnir In fact, the only ones who strike me as "military" are Telford, Young, and Greer. T.J., and the other female el-tee, possibly one-tour guys. Scott, dishonorable discharge.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 But there is going to be a massive space battle half way into Season 2, not that I'm disagreeing with you, I think that you're right about universe. My favourite used to be Atlantis but now I'm not so sure, do I prefer Universe? Or don't I? It's confusing, because I like them in their own ways.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 in SGU you have this as you said depressing feeling that you're lost on ancient spaceship far far from home. In space no one will hear your scream.

SGU climate in my opinion is by far better than 'happy killing spree' from SG1 or SGAm.

  • @ItsBurnett1984

People like Rodney Mckay is a reason i watch SGA though ;)

But i do like SGU alot, especially with characters like Dr. Rush. You made a very good point ;)

  • @Epimachus123 Rodney is going to guest star in an episode of SGU this season. Episode 15 or something, I think.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 I feel the same. SGU feels so much more human to me and the characters feel like real people. I also like that they are getting away from the stereotypical scifi storylines and into more character driven territory. I still love SG1 (and Atlantis, I guess), but this show is beyond what they were.

  • @LicoriceLain I totally agree!

  • @waboy23 And I actually understand the "younger audience" thing. They mean college/university level thinkers-people who consider multiple, conflicting senses of morality.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 Fully Agreed.

  • @ItsBurnett1984 Sorry i have to disagree with you. The producers watched far too many Miserable Battlestar Galatica episodes before starting SGU. Not only do you end up not caring about the characters but also i get sick of them making the wrong choices over and over again. And why didnt the anicents put better lighting in their flag ship (Destiny).

  • @alanthomas123 They make wrong choices because they're realistic characters, with real flaws. If this happened in real life, more people than Young and Rush would be going mad, and more than one person would have shot themselves by now. So, it's actually been "lightened down" a little bit. The ship is about 50,000,000 years old; obviously it's going to have design flaws and malfunctions.

  • @RealDougal I get to see the real world and real people with their flaws every Day! When i watch Stargate, i have expectations to be thrilled with the Sci-fi and escapism of the Stories and not constantly see the characters fail in everything they do. Also When the SGA team first stepped foot in Atlantis, the City was well lit and clean, even though it had been submerged in a ocean for thousands of years. So why is Destiny so grubby and dirty and have bad lighting?

  • @alanthomas123

    Atlantis - thousands of years

Destiny - over 50 MILLION years

Humanity wasn't even around that long ago, so don't you think they'd have SOME technological advances in those millions of years? Seriously...

Oh btw, if you don't like SGU, then don't watch it. Simple as that. There's no need for bitching and complaining about it.

  • @RealDougal i love the Stargate Franchise. After SG1 and SGA i have high hopes that SGU will get better. But the first two seasons of SGU have been slow, dark with no direction. SGU has had no major enermy to speak of, in fact the first seaon was pretty much them arguing amongst themselves, or Eli playing with the Kino's. Also with out direct constructive criticism from Fans, the Producers wont know to try a different direction.

  • @alanthomas123 The producers have already said they won't be taking a different direction for SGU, and thank fuck for that. It's already been said that there will be no "one, main enemy", but several, and we've seen two so far.

  • @RealDougal Two very boring Enermies. This show needs to up its game!! End of story!!

  • @alanthomas123 In your opinion. In mine, it IS a step-up from the repeated storylines and repetetive nature of both SG1 and SGA. Those shows had their time, now it's time for something different. SGU is the best so far.

  • @alanthomas123 In your opinion. In mine, it IS a step-up from the repeated storylines and repetetive nature of both SG1 and SGA. Those shows had their time, now it's time for something different. SGU is the best so far.

  • @alanthomas123 true, and really, how many shows are THAT interesting in it's first season or so, and i'm confident that this series will last for quite a while, meaning that it can only get better, so they have to start off slow so as not too skip over anything or do something too quickly that will ruin later episodes

  • @RealDougal I don't watch it, but i want my show back!

  • @dalmiwert You should watch it. It's very good; better than the repetition seen in SGA and SG1, in fact.

  • @alanthomas123 Before destiny came to them, the ship was traveling for thousands of years through the universe and had sustained dmage and loss of power, it intially came to earth as one of its missions to give the crew of destiny a message and help the ship through its mission and to get the crew home as well

  • @ItsBurnett1984 Its wonderful that you said this aloud... Certainly SG-1 and Atlantis were enjoyable, but they were also much more fantasy and impossible odds and impossible missions and Carter and McKay always pulled through.

SGU is more real. Better writing, more detailed. More layered characters. Less impossible scifi-resolutions. Looks good too. And the gate is very nice.

I just think SGU is better than any stargate so far.

  • @deyahdn3 i completley agree with you dude

  • @deyahdn3 Okay, 1. Ok, 2. it's wrote very badly, 'cause there isn't a story, 3. More details of love and boobs? 4. Which charachters? 5. The gate looks like a wraithgate lol.
