@leesmithy7atgmail yes hope may be useless to start with, but when his ravager crystarium is tier 3 or 4, he learns thundaga and aeroga.

i thrashed barthadalus#01 with him, fang and lightning.

the battle before you get to the little hallway with the save station is better imo, there's four deckdrones(which drop digital circuits and silicone oil for weapon upgrading) and two PSICOM dragoons which drop credit and incentive chips) the battle gives 749 CP and it's easy to make them respawn

What I have been doing is I set up Lightning/Fang with high strength equips and a COM RAV COM Paradigm. Here, you could easily kill off the smaller soldiers. When the female is left, switch to RAV RAV COM and she'll die quickly.

this is a good way but at the beginning when u first enter this place the group of five mobs just outside respawn once u enter this place and they give 712 CP each time and it takes about a min 30 to kill the group ull gain much more CP that way other then this way and you the incentive chips and credit chips which sell pretty nice

@djssson Thanks man, this was awesome. I also found if you wait a little while in the hallway before you go outside your able to watch the enemies and get the jump on the them which allows the party to gain stagger first thing, makes it that bit quicker. Thanks again!

I have a great place for CP farming and componet grinding im currently using to max out my characters crytarium. Its In Mah'Habara, the section is called Maw of the Abyss. alright there is path way you follow to get to the subterra section of Mah'Habara alright you come to a metal hole or whatev you call it and go left and jump up till you two cryohedrons then continue on and fight all the enemies they are hoplites and cryhedrons, dont go farther in after beating the 5 hoplites. pause)

continue) because there is a mark enemy named Juggernaut and it is too powerful for you if your still playing the main game. So yeah just back to the save point at the beging of the Maw of the Abyss and go back. you can easily farm 22,400 cp in 5 to 10 minutes and get the bomb core, dropped by cryohedrons-rare drop, which gives a lot of exp when youre upgrading and the solenoid, dropped by hoplites-common drop, which also give good amounts of exp when uprading your weapons.

@Kororocks12 I killed the juggernaut at that level, took me a nice 30 minutes of staggering and getting down the 1.5mil but yea, bar fire+protect+all the other crap hope puts on as synergist snow as sentinel and lightning as commando, kept switching hope into either medic or ravager with the same thing for snow and lightning. btw dont spend 30 mins killing it, not worth it i got 0 stars and 0 points, and less crysarium than a behemoth king.

Another place I used for leveling. I spent about 3-4 hours here. But I did more than CP grind, I also used the Incentive Chips to upgrade my weapons. At the end of the work, I had Lightning with a Lv 26 Helter-Skelter.

This is a nice leveling area, and my friend and I sat and leveled a couple hours....

What we did is max out Lightning's Gladius (lvl 25), and we've had no trouble since then.

Maybe save 100,000 gil to buy a nice expensive item drop increase in a later chapter (if it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket in the meantime).

I guess keep in mind that even 500,000 cp won't complete a lvl 4 crystarium skill.

there's an actual easier way to do this farming. Instead of going outside through the big door, you can kill all of the enemies in the room then turn the corner that's in the middle, Fight the 2 huntresses and raider and when u walk back to the room you'll see all the monsters re spawn. Repeat as much as you want and they keep coming back every time you turn the corner.

when you reach chapter 12 you'll get 1000 to 8000 cp, so you dont need to lvl up here, once you reach to chap 12 you'll just hunt and hunt

I'm on this part doing the exact same thing you're showing here. One thing I do, and thought I could share coz it helps me get 5star rating on the battles, is to focus on the smaller soldiers first, and then switch Fang to SAB so she can dispel all the buffs the female soldiers put up.

That will make the whole staggering and killing her later on much easier, and thus faster and easier to aim for a 5star rating, which thus increases the chance to get Incentive Chip.

at the part of the save go back outside fight the 3 robots and the 2 jet pack guys theyll give 700 cp a round and just run back in n go near the save point n go back out n repeat thats what i did

Depends what stats you have her on... If you have her as a strength build then ravager will be weak.

I'm at this exact point of game and my lightning is hitting for 1500 normal hits as a commando. The idea is to switch to ravager to build up chain and stagger then switch to the ideal forms, commando for STR build or ravager for MAG build.

lol im on chapter 4 and i've been a dumbass as I stupidly ran through most of the levels without fighting, so my characters are under leveled, and i'm having to farm up cp in order to defeat odin ( at the mo i can get it to half gestalt before he owns me), i should have learned this from FFXII but oh well, i'm going to fight every battle from now on.

I love farm points like this in the game :) its max out time!

I fought in pretty much every single battle and now im stuck at a boss in chapter 11 i think it is and i feel very underleveled cause i barely can make it halfway throught the battle and then i just get taken out no questions asked.

I guess its time to do a bit of backtracking and do some serious cp runs.

@bigpoppa611 yeah, if you type in cp farming chapter 11, it will come up with one of the best methods of cp farming, even post game. However you have to do some gil farming in order to do it ( if you noticed there is a king behemoth and a " giant silver lobo" fighting, you just kill both of them and get 6600 per battle, if you do some gil farming and get power glovesx2 fully upgraded and maxed tier 2 weps, the battle is over in seconds, all you have to do is jump off a cliff and head back.

Unfortunately by the time you hit chapter 11, you need 4-10000 per node on the Crystarium.

Good strategy for this point of the game, but if you wanted to max out the crystarium completely, you'd be here for weeks.

Cactuars in chapter 11 give 5000 apiece, if anyone's looking for somewhere later in the game to boost their levels.
