Having God in your lives. I see balance. I also agree that you should teach the children about both backgrounds, but if the child comes out Black in appearance he will be treated as Black. I know people may not agree, but they can't live that child's life. He/She will have to deal with it themselves...there is no need to add stress to the child by demanding a child who came out in appearance Black to keep telling people he/she is not Black. I know the 2 of you will teach the child to love.

When I came to this site I went straight to the comments. I thought this was a black person speaking at first only to find out it's white. This show that voice is not always relaible to determine race on the phone.

I can definitely understand why your father-in-law and a couple of other people thought you were mixed. I actually thought you were black when I first heard your voice on this video. I didn't watch the first several seconds of the video, just listened to it, and I thought you were black until I actually took a look at who was speaking.

Good job brother Keith!! Good advice, I come from a very diverse family..Black, Italian,Polish, Filipino,Hispanic....you name it it is probably in my family. I grew up embrassing people for the content of their character and I am glad to see you instruct others to do that as well, because that is the "intelligent" thing to do.
