Thx for commenting on my question about Wrecking the Iolite..So do you just have to clean the chamber with Cotton Swabs and maybe alcohol to keep it from getting all gummed up in there ? Does it jam up the Screen area at all over time..Sry if these seem like dumb questions..I just don't want to screw anything up with it..Also would u recommend mixing any real Green herbs with the different Shisha's for something different ?? Thx..

I bought an iolite the other day..They were selling those same Hydro shisha tobacco's and some other ones..I asked the dude there if I could use these tobaccos and he told me that I would wreck the iolite..Can you shed any light on that idea of these tobbacos wrecking anything..Thanks

@frogbmth How do you clean out the used shisha? I cannot for the life of me find a good guide to cleaning an iolite, even on their own website! I used some shisha in mine once, and ended up having to change out the screen and still cannot get all the junk off the walls of the loading chamber. Is there an approved cleaner i can soak the parts in to clean them or is there a good tool or trick? Thanks. Otherwise, love my iolite, worth every penny!

@ttmmm2001 In general, clean it while it is still warm with a damp q-tip. For stubborn residue, I like Dr Green, but you can use ISO or a little water and then warm the unit up, as the water turns to steam it steam cleans the chamber. You can soak the upper chamber in ISO or Dr Green, take care with the lower chamber, don't get any liquid into the reaction cell below the heat chamber.

@durbanman123 Yes you can, humidity isn't an issue as the alkaloids are still there no matter what the moisture level in the tobacco.

I remember I used to smoke but never got addicted to cigs cause I didn't inhale. I love weed and was a total stoner, now it's like... once a year. Your videos are very informative and I remember how much I like the activity of smoking but not the "reputation" that comes with it. Smoking in general has a bad rap but so few people know about vaporizing. I'm really into get the iolite and try some nicotine/Tobacco free herb molasses (if that's available) cause it seems like it rocks.

@SamuraiSmm Starbuzz is good, not tried potion but it should work with any molsses. If its very wet, you can remove some moisture first by wringing it out in a hanky

Used HookhaHookha Double Apple in my 4 hour old IoLite.. Worked great..

Removing the Chamber afterwords resulted in a damaged IoLite... It was completly stuck! Pulled it out and the whole damm thing came apart.. Not impressed.. Hopefully the place I bought it from yesterday will replace it... I Hope.

Did you let it go cold before pulling the herb chamber off? A couple of others have said that their molases set hard when cold and they had to reheat the unit to get it apart. I have never had this. Hope you sort it, if not call O&B. Andy

i have seen every one of your iolite videos and you seem to know a lot about them.

Lets say someone chose to use this iolite for "certain herbal blend"....

If it broke in the 24 month period is there a way to clean it well enough or cover up with molasses or something so i could send it back for warranty... because ive heard of people going thru 3 a year. Ouch.

I dont think O&B would be bothered what you used it for. They seem to be very good at sorting any issues in the warranty period. If you want to clean it, Dr Green is by far the best product I have found. Andy
